Earlier this summer I purchased a recliner for my mom, top of the line. It was supposed to take 4-6 weeks for delivery. The time came and went and we heard nothing from Max Pies. My mom called and they said it was going to take a few more weeks due to Covid. I understand they can’t help the Covid situation but I do expect the company to be more vigilant and proactive in their communication. They should check in with their distributors and/or the manufacturers periodically to assess any impact to customer orders in queue. Then proactively reach out to impacted customers with updates. My mom, who is not well health-wise, was eagerly awaiting her lift chair. She was SO disappointed to hear about the delay AFTER she had to followed up with them. It’s early August and she still doesn’t have her chair (going on 10 weeks since we ordered). Not impressed.

Always deal with Phil. He’s a good guy with knowledge about the furniture he sells.

Mattress had 10 yr warranty started sagging within 2 months...warranty null and voided because of stain...quality of mattresses has diminished yet prices out of the roof

Over priced and the customer service was less than desirable. When an issue is brought to their attention nothing was done to correct the situation. Only giving two stars because I did like the bed we bought. But the box it came is was wet and moldy on the corner when we got it. Luckily we were able to wipe it off the wood and the furniture was not damaged.

We were greeted by a younger guy...he was nice enough. Told him we are just LOOKING. He was on us like static cling! I repeated we are just looking if we need help well ask for it. He was hounding us asking 20 questions. It was not enjoyable and we left before truly getting a chance to check things out.
