Very helpful employees and a huge selection of reading materials

Barnes And nobles had an absolutely amazing variety of things. They have a wide selection of puzzles which I love! I found Art crystal puzzles here which I had never seen before.

Today I needed a recommendation and a little help finding a book. The manager was right beside the customer service and the customer service person and the manager were very helpful. They made sure I found what I was looking for, took their time to address my question, and were very respectful, professional, and kind. I also bought a butter croissant and iced matcha green tea latter in oat milk with vanilla. The people behind the Starbucks counter were also respectful, kind, and quick (even though there were a lot of orders rolling in). I also appreciate that there was a nice sweet lady cleaning the tables when someone got up.

Got a multi-grain bagel and coffee at the B&N Cafe, sat at a table and had a pleasant hour of reading and enjoying my drink.

The staff are the best. 24 hours before my friends baby shower. I go into Barnes and Noble in Battle Creek. It took three staff members to find the book I was wanted to give as a gift. I left very happy knowing I was going to pass on one of my favorite childrens books to a soon to be mom. Thank you Barnes and Noble staff. Thank you.

Literally any and every kind of book you would ever want or need!!Its a very quite, nice atmosphere. Theres a Starbucks located inside also.Books and coffee, what a perfect combo!The only downside to this store is the prices. They arent outrageous by any means but be prepared to spend some money if you plan on getting more then a couple things.

Has an excellent selection, vast Stephen King novels and short stories. Good pricing, definitely good for a nice quiet and calming day.

I love this store there isnt many places you can go and browse actual book I try to come here as much as I can but I live 1hr and 30min away and I dont mind the drive the staff is always so helpful and I always have a great experience

I love this bookstore. They have so many different things here. The sales are decent. The prices are competitive but a little high. I would recommend shopping here.

I visit the store frequently and have a club membership. I also enjoy the member discount.

I like this particular Barnes & Noble because of its comfortable ambience. I can have a cup of coffee and browse through books and magazines, well my daughter looks for books or magazines that catches her interest. Very nice place to relax, and will be there again this week. Definitely recommended!

I could get lost in this store! I enjoy going there not only to grab a new chapter book or cookbook but also board games and puzzles because they have a large variety! My kids love their kids section as well! Its very playful and child orientated

Not a welcoming place for people of color. I waited for assistance for a whole 5 min no one ever acknowledged if they could be of assistance to me. I walked out to never return.

Usually you can find what youre looking for when it comes to books. I was bothered by not being able to find Doc McStuffin, one of the few popular, and positive black cartoon characters.

The staff here are awesome. There kids area is awesome as well. Theres a train table kids can play with. When weathers bad Ill bring my boys here to play with the train. The other best part is they have a coffee shop. Best of both worlds.

I was a B&N employee. You are supposed to Greet and/or offer assistance to all customers. Ive been here a dozen times and have been asked if i needed assistance, once. The employee gave his personal opinion on what i should read instead of the book i was looking for. He boasted about his personal accomplishments and music ability and went on and on about conspiracy theories, It was obnoxious.I only go here when absolutely necessary.

They didnt have the book I was looking for. But other then that it is a great book store.

Expert friendly staff, clean tidy ..

My former college roommate texts or e-mails me from Barnes & Noble with some regularity. He stayed in Battle Creek, or rather returned there, while I moved away for good, but I’m happy to share that we still communicate often. Im also happy that he can sit in B & N, and read or write while enjoying a cup of coffee and a snack. Such comforts are by no means sure anymore! Bookstores and coffee shops alike struggle to stay in business. In Denver, where I live now, Barnes & Noble stores are a vanishing breed, an endangered retail species, but the Battle Creek store seems to remain vital. Thats good for my friend, and good for the community. When Ive visited, the store has always presented itself as nicely managed and well-organized, with a helpful, friendly staff and many interesting books to peruse. I hope it continues to succeed.

Typical of the chain. Theres a place within the store to buy Starbucks beverages and food. Naturally, theres a great variety of reading material and gifts for sale. I dont get asked as often as I used to be whether I need help finding something; maybe theyve cut staff. It would be nice if there was more places to sit. Part of my browsing experience includes sitting since I have mobility issues.

Ive always loved Barnes & Noble from the day they opened. I love to read and love the DVDs, games and extras in the store. Great employees too.
