After many years of poor hearing, I convinced my husband to have his hearing tested. We scheduled appointments with Dr. Larry Bridge of The Beaufort Sound. I’m so happy to report that after the hearing test and Dr. Bridge fitting my hubby with first rate hearing aids, our lives are changed.Dr. Bridge provided us with all the information we needed to make the decisions for improving my husband’s hearing. He also counseled us as to what we could expect as far as adjusting to the hearing aids, making himself and his staff available to us for any questions/concerns.We are fully satisfied with the end result of our association with this establishment! Ive had several pairs of Hearing Aids professionally fitted over the years in other states. Most recently I used the services of Dr. Larry Bridge and ended up with the purchase of a new pair of Resound Hearings Aids programmed better than I have previously ever had done Starting with the friendly Logan at the front desk and continuing with Dr. Bridge it is always a pleasure to visit the office. Dr. Bridge took time to explain the technical abilities of the various choices and there was no pressure to purchase. The end result is I can hear well again and I have found a place to address my hearing needs for the future. Thank You!

If I could give 10 stars for Dr. Bridge, I would. Also for his front office staff. Like anyone who is 82 and has been wearing hearing aids for several years, I have tried several audiologists, so have a perspective around what to expect. Dr. Bridge exceeded my expectations in every regard include caring, thoroughness and superior technical expertise. The other providers I have gone to couldnt come close. Plus, his fees are more than reasonable. His concern about the performance of my current hearing aids led him to return them to the manufacturer with a request to replace them with the latest version of the model I have at no charge! And they did! And they are over two years old. I cant say enough! Highly recommended.

As a fellow Dr of Audiology, I have personally known Dr Bridge for a year or so and have attended many conferences since then with him! Bridge, who provides real personal analysis, completes all of the insurance reviews, responds immediately to phone messages or email inquiries, makes sure his patients are happy and provides access to multiple hearing aids and pricing. There is no Doctor who is as responsive or supportive as Dr. Bridge and his practice at The Beaufort Sound.

Dr. Bridges who owns the Center is very professional and caring...made me feel confident in his ability. I have been with Dr. Bridges since he arrived in Beaufort. First with Beaufort ENT and now with his private practice . He always made sure I did over not pay for hearing aids. This year my insurance changed and they were offering a lesser quality hearing aid then I had . I have known Dr. Bridge since he worked at Beaufort ENT as their audiologist. He is extremely knowledgeable about many forms of hearing loss and will help you find the right hearing aids for your specific loss if thats what you need. He is a professional in every way, yet he is also caring. He will not try to pressure you in any way to purchase products. In fact, he went out of his way to help me spend less money when my hearing aid needed to be repaired and was not longer in warranty. Instead of charging me factory cost to purchase a part he went on his own to the internet and found the same part at half the cost. He told me exactly how to purchase the part and then bring it in to his office. He took the part, repaired my hearing aide and when we tried to pay him, he said he was happy he could help out. I can highly recommend Dr. Bridge for any of your hearing or ear related issues. When the time comes for new hearing aides, you bet I will go to Beaufort Sound and Dr. Bridges.

Five stars! Wait...let me turn the volume: FIVE STARS! On a recent trip to South Carolina I ran into a bit of trouble with one of my hearing aids. I was staying with my mother and father in Sun City, so there was a wealth of similarly hearing disadvantaged folks to ask for recommendations. Dr. Bridges name came up several times and always accompanied with a smile, so I decided to call for an appointment. My experience was top notch from beginning to end. Dr. Bridge was professional yet warm, he solved the issue quickly and even put new batteries in my hearing aids for me! Hearing loss is frustrating and having a doctor who makes you feel at ease is truly a blessing. If youre in the market for an audiologist, I highly recommend going to The Beaufort Sound!

Dr. Bridge is thorough, personable and knowledgable, and he takes all the time you need to explain what he is doing and why. His office is comfortable, and his assistant, Logan, makes you feel right at home. Dr. Bridge was able to solve a major electronics problem with my Phonak hearing aids immediately on my first visit to him. I scheduled a second visit so he could conduct a thorough exam and the end result is a much better hearing experience. He has state of the art equipment that takes a lot of the guesswork out of hearing aid tuning. I recommend Dr. Bridge highly.
