Talked with Tyler and was able to get my car in the next morning, they took me to work, kept me updated through the process, and came to get me from work to bring my back to the shop. Service was above and beyond. The prices were very fair and they did high quality work. Will use them for all my future car needs.

Great staff! Chase and Ryan did a great job of repairing my 1998 Chevy C1500 that had been sitting up for 4 years and wouldnt start. The intent was to get it running and vehicle inspection ready. They appropriately inspected and diagnosed all the drivetrain, electrical, and suspension issues. They quoted me fair prices with no extraneous repairs. Im very satisfied!

I was referred to them by my warranty company, which who Covered All of my repairs with them. My car was at my dealership but I moved it from the dealership to Bakers ONLY because they reassured me that if I came to them my repair would ONLY take two days at the most. I was later told that even though my warranty company Covered everything they wanted more money from me. Also stated that my car; which was there two days already would not be ready for another 3-4 days....maybe. I was extremely disappointed in their service, the lies, the inconvenience I was caused and the $100 I had to pay for Absolutely Nothing. The men here are unprofessional and dishonest. I will Never go here again. There are the true definition of Shady Mechanics.

Excellent quality of work, but the customer service side of things needs improvement. I took my vehicle in because the AC had started blowing hot air. I was in a bit of a time crunch but they came through in flying colors. They had the issue diagnosed in a couple of hours and the entire system fixed in less than a day, no complaints there.The front desk/customer service rep on the other hand was the complete opposite. No names will be mentioned but the gentleman that I spoke to both over the phone at at the front desk came off as rude and condescending to the point where I almost just took my keys back and went to another shop.Overall, I would recommend it if you want excellent work done quick. You just need some thick skin and patience when it comes to dealing with their customer service.

We usually have great service here, my sons dad have brought all 3 of our vehicles here because the work is usually great. I did recieve my car back still hearing a few noises but that was fine because I have the older vehicle. Yet, I have never went inside of the business due to this being the first time we went to pick my car up together. We are a interracial couple and I guess it threw them for a loop, we walked in together talking, waiting for MY CAR and the older woman there walks right up to us and says You guys are not together are you?? 🤔, with a horrible face expression I replied that we were in disbelief. He said nothing because here we are dropping over a grand on a 3rd vehicle and she behaved that way. We walked out feeling like she was completely rude. I felt so disrepsected and so did he.

Baker Auto repair goes above and beyond with customer service! I’m in town to be with a family member at the hospital, 5 hours from my home, and suddenly my brakes needed major work. Not only did they make all repairs in one day, and did an excellent job, but they also took me to the hospital while they did the work. Then they came and picked me up from the hospital to get my vehicle back. At a stressful time in my life they made things stress free. Extremely thankful and blessed to find Baker Auto Repair!

Would not return. Faulty work, did not receive truck repaired correctly the first time due to either incompetence or laziness. When brought back to make it right staff acted aloof as to why issue wasnt fixed the first time. No apology no explanation no desire to make it right. Only until I pressed hard did I see somewhat satisfactory results on the repair. For as expensive as this shop is for the work they do Id consider going somewhere else.

When your car goes kapoof on you, you just get a wave of panic that comes over you. What is wrong? Is it going to break the bank to fix it? How long will I be without transportation? This is where I found myself. Luckily, people who I trust told me to take my problem to Baker. Glad I did. Chase, the service manager, took my information. Gave me an estimated time to diagnose the car. When he called to let me know what was up, i was relieved. The problem was not as bad as i imagined. They went right to work on the repairs. Chase keep me informed the entire time. It was as if my car was the only car they needed to care for. I got it back on time at the agreed upon price. Since then, no problems at all. Brought them my truck for a overheating problem.... Hey $92 for them to tell me something I already knew..... They kept trying to offer me to buy a new engine at $4,500...kept telling me it would be easier to replace the motor than to try to fix it.....Well I spent $124 on a new water pump and fixed the problem....I do not recommend these guys unless your insurance company is going to pay the arm and a leg for service..

Stopped there b/c “Check engine” light came on. We were driving from Houston to New Orleans. Didn’t know what was causing light to come on. They were about to close, but they took the time to run diagnostic and told us the only thing was our gas cap was loose, but otherwise reassured us it was fine to drive to New Orleans. Didn’t charge us anything to do this. Very helpful honest nice folks.

DO NOT USE BAKERS! They tried to scam us out of $5000+.We brought our truck up there after it was having some issues. The guy at the front counter was very rude. He called me husband an idiot because my husband scanned his truck before bringing it up. The scan told us something was wrong with the turbo. And according to the mechanic, our scanner was lying to us (not possible) so my husband gets called an idiot for believing the scanner. They told us that all eight of our injectors had gone bad and that it would be 5000 to fix them. Then we would have to get our map sensor replaced and the ICP replaced. We decided to get a second opinion. They charged us a fee of $200 for the diagnosis ( a wrong diagnosis) . We took the truck to M and A Auto, they informed us the map sensor had come undone. And that Bakers was going to charge us $5000 plus to literally plug it back in. The car runs great now

I wad stranded when the tropical depression Imelda hit in Beaumont. I had my vehicle towed to this shop, pretty frantic due to the fact i was about 900 miles away from home. Chase the service expert was very patient and professional amd assured me they would do everything to get me up and running. As it turned out it was a rather extensive electrical/compiter issue. The owner Tim took the time and explained the entire problem/process for a complete and thorough diagnosis. They were more than professional and courteous, they truly seemed to care and put me at ease under some pretty extreme conditions. My son was driving from Florida to Houston yesterday when he broke down on the interstate in Beaumont. I found Baker Auto Repair online and called and spoke to Chase. He assured me they could diagnose and fix a 2003 Subaru. I explained it was essential that my son be in Houston the next day for work. The found a very tricky problem with the wiring and some sensors. Chase at the front desk is patient, friendly and has great customer service. I cant really say much else, they did fix my vehicle electrical issues after two visits. One I was stranded on far end of Bmt and towed there. Other was not long after first and behind my steering wheel was smoking. It may be my stroke of bad luck plus owning an 11 year old car but Ive remained slightly suspicious of having to bring my car back with second electrical problem being not long after they were to have fixed the first one. I was given a $25 off $100 coupon after all that but not sure if Ill ever use it. Thank you for your service in a time of need though.
