Everyone was amazing! Shelley came over and talked to us right away. I was able to pick out my glasses. They had ones for plus size faces! Angel was great with getting me all set and she stuck out with finding my insurance. Kayla also helped me decide between the two I had picked out. I have been seeing an optometrist since I was in elementary school and this was by far my best experience. I moved to the area last year and this was my first experience with Shopko Optical BD. Shelly assisted with the initial testing and she was professional and wonderful to talk with through the process. She helped me and gladly answered many of my questions. I enjoyed my time with her. Dr. Forsythe was incredible. He validated my concerns, investigated them, and then explained things so I understood. He explained every step of the process. Everyone went above and beyond. I will absolutely be back!

My first pair of glasses did not work out due to a design issue that made them hard to wear - they kept slipping down when I did activities with my head looking down.I went to Shopko and explained the situation. Without hesitation, I was told to go pick out a new frame. I did and within 5 days, my new glasses were in. They fit perfectly and I am delighted with them! Going to give new glasses a week or so, having possible issues at night. Otherwise happy.Not too happy with my new glasses, reflective road signs at night just glow real bright and hard to read. They had me add a coating for $50 and it did not help. The staff was real helpful but I am questioning the quality of the lenses.

When i walked in the staff was very welcoming, introduced themselves i filled out my paperwork and the young lady was right there to help me, immediately took me back to another room and did eye exam and she explained everything as we did them asked me on several occasions if i had any questions. Took me by the doctor and he himself was very nice we talked and he did his eye exam, he asked if i had any questions and had and he answered all of them or got.me the answers immediately walked me out to look for new frames. It was a avery nice and i did not feel that i had to hurry or was being rushed and feel like they want you to hurry up because they do not want to be there or your not that important like my most recent eye place.

Our family of 5 all had appointments on a Saturday morning. Despite quite a few walk-in customers for glasses repairs or adjustments, they kept our appointments right on time. They were quite busy but remained courteous and efficient. My favorite aspect of Shopko Optical is their large variety of frames to choose from.

All were super friendly and helpful. Also Dr. Scott is SO very cute. ( lol)

Leanna, in the Beaver Dam clinic was extremely helpful. She was very knowledgeable and able to answer questions that I had. Made the whole experience great for me and my family. My husband will be going there soon for an eye appointment and I hope he is able to work with her!

I was pleased with my service I received. I never waited more then 5 mins to be taken care of. The entire process took no more then 15mins and I was out the door on my way home after spending less then 30mins total. My glasses were done in 1 week and I had my new pair that afternoon. All the staff were more then friendly and helpful.i never have had such a easy time getting a new pair of glasses ever in the 37yrs Ive been on this earth, I will be going back for my next pair at shopko optical in beaver dam. Great place. We werent eligible for frames this year through my insurance so the manager went through the deals they are running to see whether my insurance or their deals would save me the most money. He ended up saving us over 150 dollars.

I was very pleased with the quality care I received at Beaver Dam Shop Ko Optical. All of the care I received, from my eye exam, to choosing my new frames was perfect.

Will never step foot here again. I would not recommend anyone bother to go here. Took 4 weeks to get and appt. Then told ibiwuld not able to see a doctor because they double booked. If I wanted to PAY YES PAY FOR A NON INSURANCE EXAM THEY COULD GET ME IN.That is poor business and bait and switch and illegal. I asked for a reg Mgr to contact me. Doubt that will happen. The current t me Matt is useless! - 500 🌟

About 2 years ago, I purchased new glasses from here and just last week I started using contacts. The woman that showed me how to put my contacts in was very kind and helpful. She did not rush me and I felt comfortable making a mistake. Everyone here is very friendly and I will continue to go through them for my eye care needs😊

Great crew from the doctors to the opticians, relaxed un-hurried service. And as a person with a compromised immune system I felt safe.Never once saw any worker overlook covid safety precautions.

Im so happy to know shopko optical stayed local in beaver dam! Staff is super friendly, and always welcoming. They didnt rush me selecting new glasses I took forever trying on so many. Brenda helped me check out, she was kind and happy to help me. I kept changing my mind on options for my second pair of glasses she had no problem giving me the price points with ever options I selected. :)

The appointment was fast. Staff was very thorough. I really liked my new eye dr. Shes great.

As much as I do not like virtual anything this was the fastest eye appointment I have ever had.

1st of all i pre set up my 11 yr olds app. Gave them insurance info for all 3 insurances. They looked up what would be covered gave me all info telling me EVERYTHING would be covered other than copay and scratch guard. Went in was shuffled between 2 diff ladies they took her back for eye exam where they have u rest chin and forehead and puff air in ur eye and what not... walked out of the exam pretty much bumping shoulders w next patient. They sat new patient down WITH OUT WIPING ANYTHING DOWN BETWEEN US!!!! we then got shuffled between 2 new ladies to order the glasses. They had 2 frames out of 20 available from insurance frame carrier. Picked out 2 frames and sat down and was told my balance was 515$ ????? WTH happened to what my 3 insurances covered. Called my insurance still told what they wud cover them which wasnt what the store was telling me. WALKED OUT W OUR PRESCRIPTION!!!! 4 days later my 11 year old now has an EYE INFECTION!! Called told them what was going explained all the problems we had from the start and the fact nothing was cleaned and now Im questioning eye infection. He says well thats wierd I dont think the chin rest or forehead rest would give her an eye infection???? Ummmm HELLO! WHO SAYS THAT? And w Covid it should ALL be wiped down!!! I asked what to do w her infection do I take her to my reg doc. He says well i dont think your insurance covers something like this!!! Ummm no buddy check again her primary will cover it. He looks and MAGIC my insurance covers it. Long story short I WILL NOT TAKE HER BACK THERE NOW FOR INFECTION OR EVER AGAIN. I made a call to regional director...SURPRISE NO CALL BACK! Writing a review here, w the BBB and health department. Absolutely disgusted! DO NOT GO HERE AND IF YOU DO ID REQUEST TO SEE THEM DISINFECT! GROSS

I got two pairs of glasses. A dedicated computer pair and an everyday pair. this is the first time Ive tried the dedicated computer lenses and theyre great. So much easier on the eyes.My everyday pair, however, the ones I really needed took around three and a half weeks to arrive. The turn around is supposed to be a week. The initial grind was done wrong so there was a delay. When I finally got them the focal point of the lens was about a quarter of an inch off. It was so bad that the new glasses were worse than my old, broken ones.UPDATE: were now at 5 weeks and on our third pair of lenses but... apparently no one reevaluated the pupil placement because i still dont have clear vision without raising the glasses or tipping my head back. Lets try again...UPDATE 2: Were now on our fourth pair of lenses and over 2 months from my exam date. Keep in mind Ive been wearing broken glasses for 4 months at this point. Tried them out for a few days and they were terrible. never before have i had a pair of glasses that had such a limited viewing range in the lens. I could barely turn my head 5° without everything getting so blurry It gave me a headache. Also, as a representative was trying to adjust the glasses to my face they bent them so horribly out of shape that she gave up and asked another rep to try. I heard her tell the younger woman that she needed to reset and start over which means they were bending and twisting my brand new frames all out of shape and then twisting them back. Even the second person bent them so horribly that I had to fix and then adjust them myself when I got home.Needless to say I ended up returning the glasses, getting a refund and going to SSM health in my hometown where they took care of me in exactly one week. I walked in, put them on, and was astounded how great they were with no adjustments needed whatsoever. I will never be going to Shopko optical again in fact I think Im also going to return the computer glasses and get them from SSM health. I might as well give the business to the people that are taking care of me properly.I dont usually write negative reviews. Theres plenty of those on the internet already but at close to $700 with insurance and a sale I would expect the highest in quality and service and simply did not receive it.

My eye experience at shopko went real well!

Came in, noone checked our temp but there was a thermometer by door, looked at frames for 15 minutes with noone asking if we need help. Then sat down and waited another 8 minutes before someone came over and said do you guys need something?All employees looked too busy typing on computers to be bothered by customers. Even though they will look at you and continue typing, they will not say anything. Im sorry to have Disturbed you at work. I can find glasses elsewhere.
