I typically dont do business with folks who advertise on TV. That said, this was a PERFECT transaction from the quick and easy sale with Austin, the scheduling with Bud and the installation with Rick and his crew. I had been trying vainly to receive a quote from a well-respected Hudson flooring store but after three tries and still no quote I went to Calvetta. Austin Calvetta well understood what we were looking for (we showed him a sample of the flooring that his product would be adjacent to) and the first thing he showed us was perfect. Although he likely had higher cost options he gladly showed us what we needed--he cared more for serving us than maximizing his sale. It doesnt hurt that his pet dog is even better at sales than Austin. The product was delivered on time and installed on time. Covid-19 precautions included masks by everyone who served us (except the dog). I own 24 rental properties in another county outside Calvettas service area and buy flooring many times a year--I know quality products, service and fair prices. Dont go anywhere else--Calvetta Brothers will make you happy.UPDATE 2021We were so pleased with our luxury vinyl floor and installation that we returned to see Austins dog for carpet. We received the same super service for carpet. Everything was great from purchase to installation.

We were so delighted with the professional staff, clean showroom and wonderful installation of my moms kitchen floor. Her floor was very old and this new gorgeous floor has given her a new lease on life. I cant say enough about the respectful and diligent installers. Wonderful job. We are so pleased. Disappointing. I had to approach a sales associate in order to get assistance. After pointing me in the general direction of the items I was looking for, he disappeared. I had to ask another associate for assistance. She acted as if she could not be bothered. She tried to help when asked about a specific tile I was interested in my project. She didnt know and called a THIRD associate.She took my name and phone number to have someone call me with the answerTHAT WAS YESTERDAY.I AM STULL WAITING FOR A CALL FROM SOMEONE.(I wont go into the details of feeling pressure to have someone come out measure and price out the job BEFORE I selected a tile.)

Brooke was excellent! She helped us with our carpet, vinyl flooring and Cambria choices every step of the way. She was extremely patient and when we asked for her opinion she recommended just the right choices ....AND she has fabulous taste!

I had new flooring throughout my kitchen and entry way. The installers were very knowledgeable. A year later, I had one tile that was discoloring. I called and within a few days they removed the piece and installed a new one.No Charge!

The lady came to my house 2 years agi] when I was planning my bathroom project. Granite and marble all over including inside the shower. Tub was removed and made into a shower. Im glad I didnt have calvetta do the work. She claimed that they dont put real marble inside the shower. She also said they dont do the heated floors.i asked her to leave. She left a bad taste regarding calvetta. I choice my own granite and marble, new lighting and new cabinets. Calvetta gets and F grafe.

My sister in law used Calvetta Bros several times in the past and highly recommended them. So two years ago I gave them a nightmare of a job to come ... move furniture out of bedroom, take out 35 year old carpet and padding and put new carpet in ... including three tiny closets. They did a great job. Fabulous actually.This year we did an addition and my contractor wanted to use his carpet person and I said NO . I will go with Calvetta Bros. I had some issues when the carpet was installed initially. I spoke with Rob and he was very attentive and eager to fix my issues. Got my new engineered wood floors plus a couple custom rugs from Calvetta Bros. I took a lot of time looking at my options and probably had ALL of the Calvettas helping me at some point in time, starting with Austin coming to my home to measure and discuss my lifestyle to help me determine the quality of flooring that I needed. While in their shop, they went out of their way to discuss less expensive options like vinyl flooring, just to make sure I was fully aware of the benefits of each flooring type. Installers were pleasant and professional and I never doubted that they knew what they were doing. Will absolutely use them again and refer my clients to them.

We have been working with Ray for our flooring in the whole house and he has been wonderful. Not pushy but cares about making sure we get what we want and the best product for our budget. Our project is growing and we are learning the Calvetta does kitchens and baths and painting too! Karen is now helping us with that part. Their quality and service is comforting. We havent even gotten to the buying part yet. We are still getting quotes but I cant imagine an outcome that doesnt include Calvetta. I feel like I can trust them and the job they will do for us. You only have to have one bad installation experience to know what I am talking about and why trust is so important. I am super excited to work with them.

We got carpeting from Calvetta Bros. We unfortunately had a defect in our carpet but Calvetta was quick to respond. They came by and confirmed the defect the next day. They also sent the manufacture of the carpet out to our place to take a look. The manufacturer didnt want to admit it was their problem, but Calvetta Bros. who agreed there was a defect took care of us anyways. The entire carpet was replaced. Im very pleased with how quick they were to respond to our issue, and how they handled resolving the problem. 10/10 would get carpet from them again.

We had a great experience with Calvetta Brothers for our bathroom remodel. Laura helped us choose the elements that went well together and kept our project moving along in a timely manner. Each week we received a schedule for the following week that was adhered to with few exceptions. The few difficulties we encountered were dealt with promptly and professionally. Also, it was helpful having the same person, Laura, as salesperson, designer, and project manager so we always knew to whom we could address questions and problems. Most importantly the bathroom looks great and functions efficiently!

The Floor Show has been our go-to place for tile and carpet for over 10 years. They have carpeted 2 complete houses for us, laid over 1000 square feet of tile, and refinished our hardwood floors. We ordered our kitchen floor online from Calvetta Brothers and shortly received an email from Jenna Tucci confirming order and checking on our delivery preference. We were updated frequently on projected & final delivery date. We received flooring on time with a follow up from Jenna. We had a small issue with a defective floor plank, contacted Jenna and much to our delight a replacement was delivered in a timely manner. The customer service was above & beyond any other flooring company we have ever dealt with in the 40 years that we have been homeowners. Jason has the patience of a saint putting up with me since it took two years of trying to decide on a kitchen floor. My experiences with Calvetta Brothers is nothing but positive. They help you in every way and give you as much attention as you want or leave you to browse and mull over options. The installer I had for the kitchen, Mike was exceptional. His attention to detail and some of my picky requests were outstanding. He clearly has years of experience in older homes and knows the pitfalls. He was efficient, cleaned-up, gave great tips on floor care and just made it a terrific experience. I have had Calvetta do carpeting before and now vinyl flooring - I have no reason to look anywhere else for carpeting/ flooring. They really do know customer service from start to finish to include scheduling and warehouse staff. Top notch all the way and Mike, the installer, was an exceptional skilled tradesman that takes great pride in his workmanship.

Very disappointed. I called to get a proposal to install new hardwood and sand/refinish existing. After a week of the first call not being returned, I called again. Was told they would be out in a couple of days to measure the floors. Two weeks later they showed up. Said they would provide a proposal shortly. Its been 2 months now and I still dont have a proposal. No phone call, no follow-up. Maybe $10,000 wasnt a big enough job for them, but I found another contractor that did a spectacular job.

We had Calvetta Bros replace the carpet in our daughters bedroom a few months ago. Their selection of carpet was great, and their customer service was excellent. We had shopped around at a few different flooring stores, and we were please to see that Calvetta Bros price included moving furniture & old carpet removal. The competitors charged extra for those things! We were also very happy with the installers who came to the house. Daughters room looks great, and were very pleased with the results. We will be shopping at Calvetta again, for sure!

Our shower was leaking into our kitchen. We had a plumber and experienced handyman look at it and both were befuddled. We have purchased carpet from Calvetta in the past and were very satisfied so tried giving them a shot with the Shower issue. Lance Calvetta looked at it and almost immediately figured out the issue. He did not push his company doing the work. He got up in the downstairs kitchen ceiling and figured it out.

We had the Calvetta Brothers do some minor renovation work in our kitchen in addition to having them replace our entire first floor with vinyl planking. We dealt with John and Austin and both were amazing to deal with. We had electricians, drywallers and floor installers in our home for almost two weeks. We liked that they all worked for Calvetta because it was evident that Calvetta expected quality workmanship and it showed in the final product. There were a couple of instances where corners could have been cut based on items that were discovered in the process of installation. Austin demanded that the installers take the more difficult route and insisted that no corners be cut in the process. We love our new floors - they are beautiful and well worth the money we spent!!! I would highly recommend Calvetta Brothers for any flooring or renovation work!!!

Our new wood laminate floor is beautiful! We had this floor installed because my husband could not manuver well with his rolling walker on carpet. For anyone who is having new flooring installed to make your home handicapped accessible: Have your doctor write a prescription for new flooring. You can count it as a medical expense if it is prescribed by your doctor. We will call Calvetta Brothers Floor Show when we are ready for flooring in two bedrooms.

Calvetta Brothers did a great job for my family. We experienced a flood in our finished basement, and needed help. The team at Calvetta Brothers responded very quickly. They came out, ripped out and removed the carpet, cleaned and treated the basement for microbes, mildew and mold, and after a few days, returned to check the dampness. They then did a beautiful job of installing new carpet - even covering an exposed pipe base with some remnants (thoughtful, and done without additional charge). These guys are real pros. Very professional, very responsive, and they do quality work.

Very dissatisfied had to do a 1/3 of the work ourselves. Was told a 2 day project but two weeks later our floor is still not completed and we had to clean the floor that is done because they couldn’t clean off the pencil and marker marks then cut some pieces way wrong and said just get thicker trim to cover it.

Good old fashioned customer service. They worked with us on an insurance job and were able to recommend high quality products that would fit within our budget. The crew that did the installation was courteous, knowledgable and friendly. When they ran out of a certain threshold, they kindly sent a crew out a few days later with the proper materials.I had the pleasure of working with Lance but suspect every brother in the family is just as kind. Take note of all the support they give to the local community (i.e. Solon Home Days). The big national chains forget about giving back. Not these guys.

We went to the store in Macedonia after a disasterous experience at a big box store. Jordan took the time to listen to what we wanted and to schedule a time to come to our home to do measurements so he could give us an accurate quote.He showed up on time and completed the measurements promptly while once again listening to what my wife and I wanted to do with the space. He made several suggestions and then suggested that we wait until a new line of flooring that he was ordering became available.When it did, we went to the Macedonia store, despite Jordans offer to deliver the samples. Jordan insisted that we take all the samples and he promptly e-mailed us a quote that was lower than the big box store quote.We called and made arrangements for the installation date and the installer showed up promptly and completed the job in only 2 days. The material looks even better than we hoped and once the installer left another member of the family called us later that day to make sure that we were satisfied with the results.We could not have asked for better personalized customer service and we will recommend the Calvetta Brothers to anyone we know who is looking for carpet or flooring.

I’m disappointed the Calvetta bros. had no solution to fix the hardwood floors in the school I work for. They refused to give a quote. Picking and choosing which job you want to take on is not fair to the customer. If you thought what I asked for was not feasible then least you could have done was give a quote for what you thought needed to be done.

They installed carpet for my Dad and the experience from start to finish was amazing. To the individual who commented on Lowes being cheaper..... that may be true, but Ive personally had carpet installed by Lowes and it was a nightmare. Four years later the carpet is coming up in the corners and they wont hold themselves accountable because they contract out their installs to low skilled workers. At Calvetta you can expect your install to be completed when they tell you (this is huge because other places NEVER show up when they say they will). If you have any problems with your carpet they will fix it. You could never get this high level of service from a big box store. Thank you Calvetta Brosthers for taking care of my Dad. I will always refer you to people who are shopping around for flooring.

Way over priced. Home Depot had same quality at much lower price for engineered hard wood floors. Also Calvetta wanted $3.00 a square foot to install..Home Depot is $1.99 sf. Overall way over priced and sales person was kinda rude.

Id driven by Calvetta Bros. many times on my way to Lowes. Their big fancy windows made me feel like they must sell only expensive carpet.So I ordered carpet from Lowes. After 6 months of lost orders, poor shipments, and begging people who dont care to follow up on the unfilled order, I gave up on Lowes and went to Calvetta Bros, ready to pay more just to avoid the Lowes headaches.As expected, Calvetta was faster, nicer, better, more on top of everything, hassle free.To my surprise, they were also 20% cheaper than Lowes -- at least for comparable carpet to what I had ordered there.Learn from my lesson: If youre shopping for carpet, check out Calvetta Bros. before putting yourself through the painful big box store experience.
