This is the experience that you want to have when you buy a boat. They are very knowledgeable and pay attention to all the details. They went way above and beyond and went over every detail of the boat and the paperwork until we were comfortable. They made a difficult 5 month Covid buying process seem simple. Well worth the 5 hour drive.
First off I always try to shop small local family owned business and Hats off is owned and operated by a great family. They go the extra mile to ensure your happiness. Informative and they believe in the products they provide. I can not remember how long since purchasing something and left with this kind of experience. They do business the way it business is intended to be done honest and caring. If you need anything in the motorsports world from accessories to dirt bikes, boats, street bikes give these folks a chance to earn your business. They also have a firearms shop and a outdoor area to throw Hatchets. Give them a try you will not be disappointed!!!
Sharon’s years of experience and expertise truly pay off when working with her. She is genuine and truly shows she cares about her customers, she was even in contact with us on her days off. We will be recommending her to our friends as her passion for the Yamaha boats make her a pleasure to work with. Thanks so much for taking care of our family as we are a very satisfied customer!
Great place for your motorcycle, atv or boating needs. Staff is awesome and if you need anything firearm related; Fort Crook Armory is located inside too.
Great people! Best experience I have had buying anything motorsports related, ever. I will absolutely check with these folks first in the future before buying elsewhere.
Do not trust in hats off motorsports I went today to get some any freeze to win a rise my own boat and the lady behind the Conner said that I have to use it for my customers while I said i a customer today She would only Sell me 1 maybe 2 even though its shetta 2 cases in the back she said she needed to keep those for her customers I kept telling her Im a customer Im here to buy them but unless you bought a you bought a boat or motorcycle or something from them they will not help you
Locally owned and operated. Good ol mom & pop store
They didn’t have the parts I needed but was very polite in pointing me in the right direction. Even looked up part numbers for me to help me find the right parts I needed! Super helpful staff!
We bought two used Yamaha jet skis from a private party, Sharon at Hats Off Motorsports was wonderful and shared some important information with a first time jet ski owner. I will be using them for all my service. Thank you for all your help.
Incredibly rude. I don’t recommend. Took over a week to get call back on jet ski that was to be serviced. His answer to us is he needs 2,000 more dollars and doesn’t guarantee he’ll have an answer as to what’s wrong. George is incredibly rude and hung up on me twice during our conversation.
This place is awful. The guy that answers the phone is rude. We tried to purchase a boat from here and they treated us as if we couldnt afford one. So after purchasing our new Yamaha jet boat from someone else, Ive tried to buy accessories here and yet again still rude. Is 0 stars on option?
The only place that had a sport quad in Omaha and Bellevue area . Awesome service the lady was so helpful went into the shop 3:30 and was walking out of there with a brand new 700 raptor. The workers were so friendly loaded my quad up even with 10 min before closing . Over all best service I had in buying a quad, will definitely make this shop all of my future purchases. -Jason Tilson
They are a treat to work with and very knowledgeable about their products! Thank you!
Due to the low Google Review rating I was hesitant to bring my 212X Jet Boat here but they are the only registered Yamaha Jet Boat shop within 3 hours of Omaha. I brought my boat in for Winterization and for an oil change and to ask a few Y.E.S. warranty questions. After having my boat for 1 week and not hearing back I called them to find out they had not touched it yet. After waiting another week I got a call from them on a Saturday at 2:15 saying the boat was done and that I needed to come get it by 4:00. I promptly went to get my boat (half hour away) only to find out they did not change the oil filters. The sad part is they did not seem surprised nor were they apologetic. Sharon seemed upset that they would have to change the oil again (not %100 sure they changed it the 1st time). I called back the following Thursday as I had not heard anything only to be told by Sharon they had not got to it yet as other Boats had come in for service. Not how their error caused me to go to the end of the line. Seriously, how long does it take to change the oil? I would have thought they would have had my boat ready by Tuesday at 10AM. Again, no apologies or any effort at providing Customer Service. I finally get a call on Friday at 4:00 saying the boat is ready (almost 3 weeks after taking it in). I show up at 9:00 on Saturday morning when they open to find out that Sharon is not there yet and that I have to wait for her. I talk the guy into getting my boat hitched up so can get out there once Sharon arrives. He pulls my boat out with the fork lift, drops it behind my truck and goes back inside, does not even help be back up or hitch it up. Again, no idea of what customer service is. They left the inside of my boat with dirty finger prints on the seat and footprints on the carpet. My recommendation would be to go somewhere else that actually cares about you, your boat and that wants to provide some level of customer service. At the end of the day they have a google rating of 3 for a reason.
Great job getting my 1100 ready for the season. Thank you guys.
This place is a joke. Took in my Yamaha star to have the lights fixed. It took 2 weeks for them to get to my bike and than when I got the bike back it was in worse condition than when I brought it in. They did absolutely nothing to repair my bike and still charged me for labor. I tried to speak to them about it and got a door shut in my face before I was even able to begin to speak about why I was there. This place is unprofessional and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
The only Yamaha dealer in the area that was willing to negotiate and then provide great service when my machine arrived. This last year has been a record year for OHV sales and every other dealer I contacted didn’t want to talk prices and all were adding ridiculous overpriced up-charges on freight and prep without being willing to discuss prices. The others really wanted to take advantage of their customers during these times and it just turned me off. I had a great buying experience here and I’ll be going back.
Good customer service - will come back
Lady who answered the phone is a super rude old lady who lost business for sure, just wanted some info so the Watersports company i work for could buy 7+ 2020/2021 but it’s to much of a “hassle” for her
I purchased a bike there, put $1000 down and then they wanted a ridculious amout of money for paperwork. When I tried to say know they wanted to keep the $1000 down. If you decide to buy from them; say no to any money down and only pay after all the paper work is done so you can see the actual price.I purchased in May of 2013. First name Kenneth. Purchased a Star 1300 tourer. Dont try to dismiss this. it was a title fee if I remember correctly. I should be abble to find the contract....could post....
Very rude service. Older gentleman very rude. I opened the front compartment on one of the utv on the floor and noticed it had mice nests inside the compartment. He then proceeded to tell me I am not to touch anything without a sales guy next to me. Now as for the lady who helps at the parts department thats a whole different story. Super helpful and nice to work with. Hats off to her. So if your getting parts its okay to go there. If you looking at a new machine just drive the 30 minutes to Dillions brothers!
I came in awhile ago for an emergency tire change. Nobody else around town was willing to change it as quickly as them. I was so happy I got to ride on my one day off and when I offered to give them a tip they wouldn’t take it. Great people and would suggest anyone to support these folks.
Great service on my boat!
One of the most unprofessional places Ive ever been to! The owner will complain about you in front of you to the other workers. They are rude and act like customers are the biggest inconvenience in their life.
Convinced me to pay 100$ for a 40$ helmet. Art of the Trade or Art of a ConArtist we may never know.
5 star rating for their motorcycle shop is a joke. They will go broke soon. NEVER let them near your tires. Their incompetence cost me 450 dollars for a front tire. Supposedly the new tire I brought in was an old internet tire come to find out it was less than 7 mo old ha they lied to me.
Hands down the best place to go in Bellevue and surrounding area for your motor bike needs!
The guys there are awesome fast friendly and the prices are great totally recommended!!!!!
The staff here are very helpful and knowledgeable. You get personalized attention, right down to picking out the perfect motorcycle jacket to suit your unique preferences. If they dont have exactly what youre looking for, they can probably order it, and they will. For a novice rider like myself, their willingness to patiently walk me through picking something out makes this is the perfect place to get my gear.
I have only been riding a motorcycle for a year and have come to hats off Motorsports for everything. Great customer service and very helpful. Mom and pop shop, which is what I like and who I like to deal with. Family owned business and all the employees are very straight forward.
Thank you so much for the awesome service and fast turn around! Got everything back before the snow on my ATV and works great! After sitting for 3 years it runs better than ever and the new plow works great, even in the heavy snow we just got.
I drove out from Colorado to buy a bike from them and was very, very happy with the service. They did everything youd expect a good dealer to do. Nick was of great helping to securing my new bike to our trailer and Sharon made the process of buying the bike as easy as can be. Highly recommended
Today I stopped by Hats Off Motorsports to pick up a oil filter and oil for my Yamaha motorcycle. Upon entering I was greeted by a cute, little white doggie that my daughter loved. Additionally, they had a toddler Yamaha, battery operated car that my daughter liked as well.A nice lady helped my get my filter and oil. When she brought the filter out I thought it looked a little small for my motorcycle, but the lady assured me it was the one for my bike. I told I trusted her and I was on my way.Well, I get home and realize the filter indeed was the wrong one, so I headed back to the store to exchange it. The lady again greeted me and I think she knew she had accidentally given me the wrong one because she immediately knew the part number for the one for my bike. She was very apologetic and promptly exchanged the filter.I had a good experience here and will be coming back again.
Just went there for the first time today and everyone was really nice and helpful. Definitely will be my place for a new bike. They had a great selection of accessories and their service prices were very reasonable.
Great customer service. Took care of my WaveRunner issues in no time. Definitely go back for any future needs
This store was AMAZING from the very first phone call. I had been shopping for about a week and had contacted several dealerships. The lady who answered the phone (Sharon) was very friendly and made me feel like a regular and more than just a customer or sale. She answered all my questions, the dozens upon dozens, polietly and with genuine care. When I arrived at her store, Nick, the gentleman that checked and prepared my motorcycle was just as friendly and professional. He went out of his way to show me all the ins and outs of my new bike, and just like Sharon, really cared that I was comfortable with my bike, not just for the sale, but because they really do care. I also got my bike at an unbelievable price!!! I would recommend Hats Off Motorsports at 812 S. Fort Crook Road to and and all my friends and family. I have no regrets driving the 200 + miles, and would and will do it again for my next purchase. Thank you Hats Off Motorsports for being one of those very few businesses that still see us as people and not just a sale. You have earned a life long loyal customer.
The women that works here is very nice the older guy is rude as no other
O look more local guides with five star ratings with no comment or A+++. I hope these fake reviews come cheap because youre fooling yourself if you think that any of those are believable.
Very nice people!
I really like this place. Sharon and Nick run a great business with fantastic customer service. I trust their opinions and expert advice. Hats Off is my go-to place for my motorcycle - and now firearms!
Took my bike in, needing work. Sometime things just dont go the way you like! But Nick and Eric did me right! Thanks guys you are GREAT! My bike runs great and looks AWESOME!
Good place to Check out.. dont get confused cuz its a Yamaha shop.. the gun store is inside.. Im a gentleman I deal with was extremely polite.. and very helpful.. sell new and used.. and definitely have a good supply.. items that are needed and some ammo.. small but growing Rapidly.. 😜👍RespectfullyCPL.P.M.TellezU.S.M.C. Brought my bike in the last week of April to get the fork seals replaced and because they agreed to remove and then replace parts on the bike that were sent to get powdered coated. Bike sat at the shop for weeks before they even took the parts off which during this time my call log shows one to two phone calls a week asking about the bike which were dismissed by the owners and treated me like I was bothering them and usually hung up on me.Got the parts finally painted at a local shop that took less than two weeks which is confirmed by receipt and credit card statement. After I dropped off the parts the paint shop they called and said they were missing a foot peg which when I called Hats Off and asked where it was stated they didn’t know and blamed the paint shop and hung up on me and never returned my phone call to see if it was found. Then I returned the parts back to Hats Off on May31 which after another two weeks of calling was told the paint store lost my shift linkage and rear axe lug clip which is why they didn’t do any work in my bike. This whole time my fork seals still had not been worked on despite he bike being in the shop the whole time. When I finally told Hats Off I’m coming in to pickup the bike regardless of the work done on July 13 my missing foot peg and shift linkage magically reappeared, except I spent $100 on a new set of pegs which cannot he returned due to the time between when I bought them and brought them in with the painted parts on May 31. They also didn’t reinstall my passenger foot pegs and lost the bolt and screws. They tied a thin wire around my axel lug because they lost the clip which they blamed the paint shop for despite the lack of reason they would have even given them that part. They didn’t balance my rear tire and the tech that brought it out said you don’t need to balance a tire with a single-sided swing arm. Finally, the next morning I see fluid covering my brake calipers from the fork seals still not being fixed. All of this Hats Off refused to take responsibility for and refused to refund my money despite the issue being 100% with the work that they did. Not the insane amount of time but took or how they complained that it was a complicated job. I was told to bring my bike back in and that they would “make it right” which after 2.5 months and the display of utter incompetence, lies, horrible customer service, obviously incompetent techs, and the horrible condition of my bike when I finally demanded I get it back I would be insane to let them work on my bike any further. Also to be told “I don’t know if I can trust what your saying” when I called as if I wanted to spend my day angry writing reviews that Hats Off couldn’t just do a good job, or even a decent job, and now filing complaints with BBB and a dispute with my credit card company. Give me a break. No one wants to do this.
Always welcome me and my family, and always extremely helpful. Been going there for years
They have a small shop inside that is Firearms dealer. Friendly staff, was helpful with information and prices are competitive.
No one answered the phone for 30 minutes after they opened.
Much more interested in selling new than repairing old. Tried to get repair estimate from them on the phone earlier - they wanted to see the machine. Trailered it down and they did not even look at it...just threw out numbers and timelines that were out of line.
Awesome experience buying from Hats Off... great people and a quick hassle-free motorcycle purchase.
If there were a no star option I would have used it. How is this place still in business? So much of what I read from the other reviews resonate as to my own experience with them. Disinterest, lack of attention to detail, general apathy overall, and an unwillingness to listen to their customer. I even directed them down the path of a possible solution to the problem and they wouldnt hear it. As it turned out, it was the absolute correct path. Thank God for Edwards Motorsports and Cameron Kosiske for figuring it out and even entertaining the the idea.I was so mad I was going to take them to small claims for recovery until reading other comments here on this forum. Clearly they have more than enough problems on their own and for me to add to their pressure would be cruel. I will, like others, chalk this up to a lesson learned and watch while I await their implosion from within. DO NOT take your mechanical repair needs to this place!
For the love of god stay awayps how much do these local guides charge for those obviously fake reviews? not even remotely believable
Went there to have a tire put on my bike they charged more than what they told me then didnt put all the bolt back in my exhaust. And tried to tell me that it had fallen off when they put it on the stand so thats why my bill was higher then agreed. Place is a flipping RIP off
They had our Waverunner there from March 1 until the end of June for a new motor. Our deposit check for 1000.00$ cleared our bank March 17. After numerous times calling & being put on hold for 1hr+, hungup on &/or told waiting on Parts we retrieved it from them UNTOUCHED in late June. Took it up the street to All Seasons & they did a rebuild. Had it back in a week! DONT WASTE TIME WITH THIS PLACE!
Been coming here for three years. They treat me like family. No problem or question is too small.
I took my v star 1100 into the shop for the carbs to be fixed and when I got my bike back it would not start and the bike was covered in oil. Multiple bolts and screws were striped and some werent even tightened down at all. Wires were hanging down under the gas tank and some of my lights had been ripped off. The owner/manager did not care at all, she never came to look at how the bike looked as I complained about all this. I paid 800 dollars and had to take it home in the back of my truck.
They act like they dont want to sell their bikes
Brought my bike here for repairs. They made it run worse. Costing $1900 then told me oh well not our fault. I don’t recommend anyone to go there for anything. Final drive was bad. I was riding it when it broke. However the motor ran perfect. Asked for them to go fix small bowl leak. Mechanic said could go threw the carbs. Told him bike runs perfect. I was told it’d run the same or better. I put faith in them to return my bike back running just as good as I dropped it off. Got bike back covered in red fluid looks like antifreeze. My bike is air cooled. If you didn’t know how to resynchronize the carbs you should have nvr touched them. Bike has just shy 22,000 on it it ran great other than final drive breaking. Nothing wrong with the motor when I dropped it of. It sure wasn’t covered in antifreeze either. Then to be told I’m liar unacceptable
The lady on the phone was very friendly. Unfortunately it seems their tire selection is very limited for motorcycles.
Avoid if you can, staff seems to have zero interest in actually being helpful and has a holier than thou attitude if you ask even the simplest question. Id rather drive 30 minutes to Dillon brothers to avoid having to deal with these people.
Awesome customer service, the staff was very friendly and relatable. Had a great experience from my first email to loading the motorcycle. No need to haggle here you will not find a better dealership. Will recomend to anyone !
. Wanted to order some parts. Got them in a couple of days. Very happy with the service
Convenient place to pick up ammunition if you live in Bellevue!
This place is unbelievable - sold my bike to a friend who took it to this shop for some routine maintenance, they told him a recall had not been done, took the bike and PRETENDED to do the work. I had already had it done years prior, it was a glitch in the record keeping - outright FRAUD. They didnt even change the oil and filter like they said, it still had the filter I installed on it myself. GO ELSEWHERE
Came in looking for better gloves when cycling (peddle bike), they had a good selection. While they do sell mostly to users of powered vehicles, they were respectful and helpful.
Great gun shop, will not find better prices
Havent even been there yet but seems to be very kind and helpful over the phone!
Awesome staff. Good selection and very professional, family friendly!
The service here is awful. Ive been through 3 or 4 times and only once was my interaction friendly. Usually there is the same man behind the counter who gives off the impression he could care less that I was there. Not only has the service been horrible in person, but I was none to pleased with my service when bringing my bike in for service. I brought my 81 in for repairs and while trying to explain what was going on and some stray wires I noticed while taking a look myself, the staffs only concern was leaving for the day. There were still 10 minutes left before close and all I wanted was to take a couple seconds to explain what I saw. Neither of the two cared to hear what I said. After a few days I got a call back explaining that the only problems noticed was some corrosion around some connectors and that they cleaned it all out and they were only charging me for an hour of work. I was rather excited to have my bike back with such minimal amount of work. When I asked about the wires however, they simply said that because it was so old, they didnt want to take the time to find a copy of the schematics. With youtube and google being so widely available, I find it hard to believe the wiring schematics would be so impossible to find. Anyways, upon receiving my bike, I popped the seat to take a look, and to be honest, everything looked the exact same as when i left it. It started however, so I left to go to an event. ON MY WAY to the event from the shop, my RPM meter stopped working. Then, as I went to leave my event, I had the EXACT same problems trying to start my bike as I did before I took it to get it looked at. Upon arrival at my house, I gave them a call to explain my concerns. THIS IS WHAT KILLED IT. When I explained what had happened upon receiving my bike back, the person on the phone sounded annoyed with my concerns. He said it wasnt our problem, because he swore they never messed with anything with the RPM meter. I tried to explain that that wasnt the point! I gave it to you with a working RPM meter and received it back with a broken one. AT THIS POINT he sighed into the phone!! Sounding irritated that I was upset at the quality of service he said that, i guess maybe we can try to look into it before saturday. What kind of customer service is this?! Ive spent years in the customer service industry and this is by far the WORST service ive ever received in my life. I will not be returning here and my friends are sure to be hearing this as well.
Not helpful nor friendly I walked in and literally no one helped me for like 30 mins I stood at the counter waiting and they did was walk around me never said hi or welcome to hats off, and then they try to sell me a 09 yamaha yfz 450 woth an oil Leak and steering stem problems that has clearly been wrecked and they said it had not been. Then I call and ask about some maintenence and rebuild to be done on my yfz they quote me at about 400 my brother calls to and wants the same thing done to the same kind of machine they tell him 900. Like what the heck and then the little short guy that is either the owner or whatever starts cussing me out. But there seems to be one person who cares its the lady her name is either Sharon or Carroll.
I went in a few months ago and the owners son helped me he was extremely rude undermined me every chance he could and at one point I was looking at a R1 he laughed to himself and told me I would never sell you an R1 because just looking at me he could tell I wasnt an experienced rider. Who is he to tell me what bike I can ride. Also I got a quote on my bike from him to do some work on my bike and the total was gonna come to around $1200 I took his quote to a different shop and got my Damage fixed for a little under $400.Last and final complaint I had a buddy that went there and the owners son said oh yeah that guy that came to get his bike fixed was really ignorant so I didnt bother to tell him that his chassis is cracked not a fan of these guys I tell all my buddies to avoid them.
I went to Hats Off for some maintenance and had probably the worst experience you could possibly imagine. I took my bike to them in May to have the brakes fixed. I kept calling them to see when it would be done and finally in NOVEMBER they got back to me and said it was done. I got there, paid for the repairs and they brought my bike around. They told me that during the maintenance they had broken my running lights and would not fix it because they dont do wiring. Also when I was getting ready to leave I noticed that one of my fairings had puncture damage where it had not before. There were 3 spots and a huge crack on the bike. (I think they dropped something, possibly another bike on it.) They did admit that they had not seen the damage when I brought the bike in and said they would fix it. March comes around and they finally have my bike done. The fairings they fixed look terrible, the maintenance they did is poor and they did not put everything back together. I was inspecting things and they didnt even bolt everything back onto the bike. This has got to be the worst experience I could possibly imagine. I have never been more disappointed in service before in my life. I hope nobody else ever has this same experience.
I took a 1990 Yamaha virago in, because it had a grinding noise coming from the rear end. Hats off Yamaha called me and told me it was eather the transmission or drive shaft.I decided to have them do an inspection on the drive shaft. They said it was ok. I went and picked up the motorcycle... My friend that helped me pick the motercycle up,said he wanted to look at it.I agree to let him take a second look. The drive shaft had a 7/8 bolt sheered off in plain sight..Hats off Yamaha owes me a $170. I just took it as a lesson learned not to take anything to them ever again. And eat $170. Maybe just a bad mechanic but next time Im going to take my motorcycle to a professional.
These guys are amazing. I drove from Denver to purchase a Yamaha AR240 last week and after spending hours with me on the phone, EVERYTHING they said about the boat and transaction was spot on. I made the trip with my 2 year old and my 6 year old and they even recommended an awesome inexpensive hotel for us to stay at. When Yamaha tried to push me into a higher rate group for financing, Sharon went to battle and got me the lowest finance rates Yamaha offers. They also sourced my boat and picked it up so I didnt have to wait until mid June(3 months later) for my new toy. For us boaters, the wifes approval of a new boat can be fleeting so we know we have to strike wgen the irons hot:) They even entertained my kids while they spent hours with me going through the boat. So to beginning boaters, feel comfortable that youll get the right product suggestions and PLENTY of hands on training. To highly experienced boaters (Ive owned everything from Sea Ray to Mastercraft over 20 years) be ready for what a true Midwest boating sales experience is supposed to be like(even down to oil extraction training and what maintenance you can do on your own) Sharon and her husband are awesome! They even offered to meet me half way between Denver and Omaha! There only dow fall is they dont have a location in Denver(hint hint).Oh and one more thing, expect to pay a premium for premium service??? Not here. Hats Off was 2k cheaper than anywhere else!!!Denver CO folks - If youre considering Hats Off and want to talk to me personally about my experience, call Sharon and shell give you my number. I was so impressed Ive given her permission to use me as a referral. Thanks Sharon and Company. Youre the best!!! See you in a few months about a jet ski!
Went back to hats off and the mechanic topped off my oil from the cap being left open, his customer service was great and i will now continue to go back to their store. I appreciate all your help.
Great place to get this parts
Never ever again.
Broke contract and won’t return my money. Save the headache and shop elsewhere.
Never get calls back and get hung up on. No customer service at all.
Very very nice employees and management
When I called they were rude and dismissive
Did a terrible job with my wave runner
Excellent service!
Great staff and service!
Honestly terrible costumer service I came here with my friend three separate times each time we waited on average for 30 minutes for someone to help us.
