I came in there knowing nothing about audio packages. All I knew was that I was tired of the old outdated blue tooth setup in my car and wanted something up to date. I also wanted a better sounding system with reduced road noise.Charles walked me through the process, came up with a setup for my prius, I put down a deposit, and a few days later showed up... and was impressed. Even with a basic car like mine (Bugattis and Porsches all around the shop) they spared no attention to detail...I was surprised as well by how quick he was able to get my car in with all the other jobs they had going on.This is the very reason I avoided the car Toys and Best Buys of the audio installation world. I wanted something done by people who appreciate their craft. I dont mind paying a little extra for this type of quality work, because I wanted the job done correctly.Mike did a fantastic job showing me what they did when I came in to pick it up, we tested it out (Id never used android auto before), he answered every single question I had, explaining the whys and hows.As for the setup... Its clean, indiscreet (how I wanted it), and sounds amazing. The car looks exactly the same except where all the oem speakers used to be, theres updated quality speakers that pack a punch. Zero rattling and the noise is very contained with the sound dampening they did. Highly recommend. Thank you again fellas. All the best.
Ever wonder why when you walk into Systems Unlimited there are exotic cars or very high end projects being done? Its because they are the best. They can be trusted to work on these cars and do these big installs. I came to them for a Radenso + ALP install on my brand new Ferrari 812 SuperFast. That would be a radar detector and laser jammer setup. I was very clear that I DID NOT want the jammer heads to be seen, and they were more than happy to accommodate this. I also thew them a curveball wanting to put the controller head in a location that isnt common for these cars. Normally they are installed in the little cubby area below the reverse, auto, and PS buttons. This makes them hard to reach from the driver position, and you have to look down and completely away from the road to see the buttons and screen. Other installers will put it on the side of the driveshaft tunnel where you absolutely cant see the buttons. I requested them to put it below my other vehicle controls, also where I could easily see the screen through the steering wheel. They were more than happy to accomplish this.I dropped my car off and went over the whole install with them. They brought the car in and got started on it a couple days later while they finished up a couple other jobs. They made sure to completely tape up and cover in plastic any area near where they were working to prevent against any scratches, dings, or mars. They accomplished the rear jammer head install first, hiding the heads behind where my rear reflectors were. They use a black smoked acrylic for a stealthy touch, and it matches the car a lot better than the red. I was able to stop by and check it out, and grab pictures while they were doing this. At this time we also talked about smoking my side markers, which they were happy to do while doing the radar detector and laser jammer install. They very professionally disassembled the car to make sure and hide all the wires and run them without excessive lengths of wire left behind. All the wires are also wrapped in a wire loom, and not the cheap plastic corrugated stuff either. Everything at Systems Unlimited is premium. We ended up with 3 jammer heads on the rear of the car for extra coverage. They began on the front of the car, removing the front bumper and working on installing the front jammer heads in suitable locations. They were able to use factory bolt holes for all of the mount locations to avoid drilling into my car. After that, they ran those wires into the passenger cabin, making sure to only use the amount of wire they would need, and also wrapping it in a quality wire loom. With all the jammer heads and radar detector heads mounted, it was time to figure out the controller head. This is the part that took the longest as they had to custom design a piece, and then make sure it fit perfectly. Once they had a perfectly fit piece they used body filler to mold it perfectly against the dash. There were no holes drilled in the dash either, they were able to run the wire to the controller along the dash where you cant see it, and then into the dash in a natural opening. This was very key as I really didnt want my dash destroyed in the process if I ever wanted it removed (I wont). At the end of the install they made sure everything was functional, did all the updates necessary, and cleaned up the car. I was very impressed overall with the quality and condition of the install. Was it more expensive than other quotes I got? Yes, but it sure as hell was worth every penny. No other 812SF has an install like mine, and I think my car has the BEST radar/laser install of any Ferrari 812 out there. No visible jammer heads hanging off the car, less hassle from the cops down the road.TL;DRSystems Unlimited does the BEST job in the area, and can certainly be trusted with your car to do an amazing job. They are not going to be the cheapest, but their work is very high quality and is great value for what you get. I will certainly be back with other cars, and have be recommending them to everyone.
Systems Unlimited does not install customer supplied equipment. Even if its brand new and in the box. Even if you dont care that they cannot supply a warranty on the hardware. IMO, they should. And heres way... It would give them an opportunity to show excellent customer service, and flex their muscles when it comes to expertise on hardware and equipment. It would give them an opportunity to recommend other products that they do sell (i.e. amps, speakers, etc. - for example, if you were just bringing them a new head unit). They could even charge an added fee for installing certain equipment that they did not supply (add an upcharge to make up for the profit margin lost on the sale of the hardware). It my opinion, having a hard no when when it comes to install customer supplied hardware, besides asking more questions to qualify the hardware, and offering more solutions is just short sighted and bad business. I get that companies need to make a profit, and thats why I recommend an upcharge. I get that companies cannot warranty hardware that they do not supply, but that should be the customers decision, not the installers. I simply believe that companies should put the customer first, and go above and beyond. Think bigger, Systems Unlimited. Because your service is Limited - Not Unlimited.
I purchased a used 2012 Mercedes coupe from a friend. The vehicle did not have a back up camera and due to limited visibility it really needed one. Contacted Charles at Systems Unlimited and he gave me a few options over the phone and set an appointment for a week later. Stoped the car off and in about 3 hours later it was finished. Can remember the name of the guy that did the actual work but he did a great job. Had a minor issue upon inspecting the work and he and Charles took a look and promptly fixed it in a couple of minutes. The work was totally professional and if you didnt know you would think it came standard from the factory. I am totally satisfied with there work and love my car even more now that backing is not such a pain. Great job Systems Unlimited!
Charles and his team, Jorge and Mike, are the best! I wanted to upgrade the audio system in my 2007 FJ Cruiser and they delivered. New stereo, speakers, amp, backup cam, steering wheel controls, and a custom enclosure for two 10” woofers...plus a little sound deadening in the doors and it sounds amazing. Most impressive is the attention to detail and perfectionist approach that they apply to the installation. I went back again for some additional sound deadening and the installation of a new roof rack and off-road lights which then led to upgrading the alternator to power it all. These last few items are not what they typically do, but Charles and the guys went above and beyond to ensure that my vehicle was set up exactly the way that I wanted. They spent a ton of extra time chasing down parts and making it perfect. As a bonus, it’s been fun to see my FJ parked alongside many higher end cars and getting the same level of attention and care. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for car audio.
The backup camera and new Alpine radio installation was very professional. Jorge and Charles were courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. The install was completed before the promised time, I was pleasantly surprised! Jorge (the technician) walked me through the entire install process and gave me a detailed overview on the radio and camera features/functions. I definitely recommend System Unlimited, they are the best in town!
Thank you Systems Unlimited for installing an amazing sound system and outperforming those that had previously worked on my car. You made the trip from Portland to Bellevue well worth the time & effort of doing so. For those that are looking to have a system installed but arent exactly sure which way to turn, I would encourage you to take a few minutes to read my lengthy review that I had posted on Yelp. Im not known to post reviews of any kind and unfortunately because of this, Yelp has my initial post buried on their second page under hidden reviews. Again, it would be well worth the time to carefully read over my personal experience, within this industry, and why I had to drive from Portland to Bellevue to see what Systems Unlimited could possibly do. They did not disappoint. The owner, Charles Maddy, did not try to upsell me on product that I did not need. This spoke of his integrity. His direct approach and transparency was greatly appreciated and this, in of itself, spoke of the confidence that he had. His team simply delivered all that I had hoped for and did what THREE HIGH END AUDIO STORES, in my neck of the woods, failed miserably in doing themselves.Again, I would implore anyone to please take the time and effort to locate my Yelp review and carefully read over what I have been through and the amazing job that Systems Unlimited did for me.
Charles and his team has worked on my 2 Ferraris, my wifes Audi Q7 and now my Panamera Turbo. The quality of work is absolutely brilliant. The sound system sounds amazing. I cannot describe it or do it justice in a post. I did not know car audio can sound this good. The sound deadening exceeded my expectations as well. I cannot believe how quiet the car is. These guys are by far the best in the greater Seattle area.
I just recently had my stereo system in my truck replaced at Systems Unlimited... And let me tell you, these guys do amazing work! I could not be happier!! My new system sounds fantastic, the quality of the installation is top shelf, and the products they offer are superlative!!! I definitely recommend you having your next quality sound system installed here!!!!!! A big thank you to Charles, and Jorge!! 👍👍*Update*My new stereo reset itself to factory default... The tuning that Jorge did was lost, and my stereo sounded terrible... I brought my truck back in, and Charles and Jorge fixed me right up!! Its even better than it was before!!! Seriously why havent you already decided to buy your next stereo from these guys? Cuz from now on, this is the only place Im going for my vehicles sound systems.. they truly are Unlimited!!! 🤟😆🤟
The Unlimited team did an outstanding job sound deadening and substantially upgrading the audio in my M2. You cant tell anything was done by looking, and now it sounds as good as it drives. When an odd problem volunteered itself several months later, they got me up and running again with no hesitation. I wont hesitate to look them up next time I have car audio needs.

4.5 stars. Systems Unlimited built a custom audio system for my Porsche Macan. The attention to detail was fantastic.Space was an issue. I wanted a super clean system that gave up no space. They built an amazing custom sub enclosure and a custom audio component rack in the factory enclosure. They sound proofed the doors and the truck. The difference is unbelievable. I would recommend their sound deadening for any build. Most importantly, my car came back without any cosmetic issues. The speakers were replaced, the door panels were removed and not a mark. They stand by their work. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for and these guys care about their reputation.
More like UNLIMITED THIEVERY. this guy will overcharge people AND get mad at you when you call him out! read his hidden reviews he is a con man
Systems Unlimited stands at the pinnacle of Seattle area custom systems and I say this because the experience that I had with them reflected exactly that. When I first went into the shop for a consultation, I was immediately blown away by the quality of cars they had in the shop. Still in awe of the dismantled Ferrari and pristine Bentley sitting meters away from me, I explained what I was looking to get in my now seemingly insignificant 2008 Volvo XC 90. Charles listened as I told him how I was looking for a new radio and sound system, as well as a backup camera, and how I only had $4000 to spend. He laid out my options and in 20 minutes I was out the door and ready to bring back the car a few weeks later. When I came back I told him how I now had an extra $800 to spend and would like to put it into the front speakers. I was worried about this last minute notice on my part but Jorge very kindly and aptly explained my options for that and 3 days later I came to pick up the car. The unfortunate aspect there was that through some of the wiring the driver airbag wasn’t working. Unflustered by the issue Jorge and Charles STAYED LATE to make sure that my car was fixed so I could leave with it as soon as possible. Now while I did have to wait an extra day, this commitment to craft blew me away and I was more than happy to come back later to pick up my car with a fantastic new system. Then came the bill, and even though the true labor pushed the bill over my predetermined budget, Charles very kindly lowered the hours to make the charge fit what I had available. But the above and beyond service doesn’t stop there. A little while later I noticed I was having two problems, those being that the driver door lock wasn’t always working and the upper driver side speaker was falling off ever so slightly. I drove the car over (without appointment) and Jorge and Charles happily stepped off the project they were working on to take a look at issues. As it turns out neither of the problems was caused by the new system, but they still fixed the driver side speaker (for free) and diagnosed my lock issue and even offered to order the part so I could get it fixed. This store is proved itself to be extraordinary on so many levels and they deserve all the business they get. Their customer loyalty and trust is proved by the quality of cars they work on and I would recommend anyone to their shop. Thank you so much Charles and Jorge, I will be back!
Charles upholds the highest of standards, even for my 2016 Subaru WRX Limited. I first spoke to Jorge about my install and what exactly I wanted done. These gentlemen make it happen, even when others can’t. Every little detail, every little thing you can think of is paid close attention to. And then when you can’t think of it, they do, and do it well. My hat really goes off to Jorge. He is so incredibly meticulous. Systems Unlimited is not for the budget people. You pay top dollar for unprecedented work.
Systems Unlimited in Bellevue, I can’t say enough good things about this shop. Took my car in after another shop installed equipment that did not sound good and would not stand behind their work. They corrected all the problems and put in the right equipment for my car at a fair price. They kept in touch with me through every step of the installation process, their attention to detail is unmatched. My car stereo system has never sounded this good. They are worth every penny and then some. They have my business for life.
Systems Unlimited is a very solid establishment.I dont have a big stereo budget, With all of the amazing installs they do on Ferraris and Lambos and what-not, my MB wagon and Land Cruiser were small projects, but they still treated me with respect and do as nice of a job as they would for their exotic car customers. They do an amazing job! Their installers are pros with years of training and experience. Not like the young 20-somthings that pretend to know what they are doing over at Car Toys.If you want ultra-high quality work, and a fair deal, see these guys.So happy.
Charles has always done great work ...best around ..hands down..!!
I came in and was told off in a really rude fashion before I even got to describe what I wanted. They were visibly not interested in my business at all. I should go to cay toys. Thats what the guy said they are probably a lot cheaper. What a waste of time (and their loss of a $2000 project)
Make no mistake, when you buy from Systems Unlimited, you are buying from Charles. This is a good thing.I bought a 2014 Dodge Durango and because of the factory shortage of dvd systems, I needed to get an aftermarket solution. I researched all the greater Seattle area shops and came across Systems Unlimited. I must have called at least 10 places before speaking with Charles and he immediately made the short list due to his knowledge of his profession. (believe it or not, I spent a lot of time explaining to the experts things like active restraint headrests)One thing youll find is that Charles will walk you through any questions you have. I had several questions and he must have spent at least a few hours answering all of them over the course of doing business. I even bluntly asked about the negative yelp reviews and I found the answers to be exactly what I wanted to hear.As for the solution, it is awesome! He put in dual android units behind the headrests with cases that match the factory leather and stitching, plays movies, charges the tablets and can be taken out of the vehicle for the kids to play with in the house. When I went to pick up the vehicle I noticed the units came with the dvd players, which is something I didnt want due to the extra price and bulk. I called Charles and he quickly followed up with the manufacturer (who messed up the order). He then put it in my court, and gave me the option to keep them as is, or get them replaced at no charge. After speaking with the boss (my wife), I was told to keep them as is. :)The ordering and install went quickly and Id recommend anyone to Systems Unlimited. Youll find that they listen, answer all your questions until your comfortable, are knowledgeable about their stuff and will do right by the customer.P.S. Car toys said nothing could be done since I had active restraint headrests. :)
This review is about Systems Unlimited located in Bellevue, WA. Charles owns the shop and Mike is one of the guy who works for Charles. In my quest to sound deaden my car (a Shelby GT500), I consulted several local shops in and around Seattle/Bellevue/Lynnwood area. I did my own research to find out what it takes to quiet the car down. There are many brands of products available on the market and there are a lot of forums discussing this topic too. All the products claim they are the best and every car owner on the forum claims they did the job while some others complained it didnt work. After going through a lot of forums, I finally concluded that its not the material that matters (since most of them are alike with minor differences) but what matters is the way the work is done.My car is extremely noisy. I dont think any car can come close to the noise that this car generates. After talking to Charles, I felt I was in good hands. He explained the process in detail, showed me the material that he would use, and showed me previous work that they have done on other great cars. However, this was their first time working on a Shelby GT500. I did feel that Charles was skeptical too. However, his confidence and attention to detail made me choose him to work on my car. They took the car, dismantled it completely (literally everything off), did the work on it (every single piece was layered on extremely carefully so as not to miss any area) and handed over the car 48 hrs later. I was originally told they would need the car for 3 full days. However, they completed it in 2 days because Charles had more people work on it. Mike took several photographs of the entire process while they were working on my car and gave me all the pictures (high resolution) towards the end. Looking at the pictures I was amazed at how nicely they did the work. Now, coming to the noise reduction part. It was night and day. Now the Shelby feels more like a luxury car. It actually is quieter than my brand new Nissan Maxima and a Nissan Armada and my friends Audi. I am blown away. And all this with the stock tires (GoodYear Eagle F1) which are supposed to be extremely noisy. I can only imagine what the car would feel like once I change the tires. I am extremely impressed with the work that Charles and Mike did. I cannot thank them enough. What they have done is short of amazing.I had one of my previous cars sound-deadened through Car Toys a few years back. The quality was no where near what I got from Systems Unlimited. Agreed, Charles was a little on the higher side with respect to price but the quality of work is also top notch. They have earned a customer for life. I would definitely go to them for all my future cars without a bit of hesitation. I can only imagine what they can do with a normal car (not as noisy as a Shelby!).Let me know if you have any questions about their work or their commitment. I can personally vouch for the quality of work they did.
They value their reputation.
