Good place to shop. They have some tools you wont find at the Orange stores or the Blue stores and at good prices. Staff is always friendly. Theyve got a huge supply of wrenches...I mean huge. Restroom is always clean and products are easy to find.

On sale for $119.00, in store only. Got one of 2 left. I have been trying to catch it in stock at the regular price and they have always been sold out. Staff where extremely helpful. No issues with getting sale price, you had to show them a pic of, in my case, the on-line coupon for $30 extra dollars off. Regular price is $149.00. I got it for $131 and change, including taxes. Great deal and fantastic staff. I had me nephew with me for loading it up but the associate that was helping me had it loaded before my helper could buy a towel rack for his tool box and come out of the store. Definitely will be back.

Depends on which one you go to but most of them are knowledgeable and the tools you already know where they come from but you pay for what you get and its good pools or Motors Ive been buying Predator motors from them for a while

I can always find something I need here for a reasonable price. I wouldnt say the quality is top notch but I have never been disappointed as long as I keep my expectations in check. Look for the sales and sometimes free items.

Ive shopped at HF for a long time. The overall quality of their tools has come a long way. Theres still an occasional dud, but most of the stuff is pretty solid, especially considering the low price. My go to for speciality tools that wont be used regularly. I bought a pneumatic floor stapler there 15 years ago. Planned to use it only once for a house project. 2 houses and thousands of staples later, its still works great.

Who doesnt love the value here? You have to set your expectations accordingly of course but just about everything here is going to be good enough for most people depending on how much you expect to use the items purchased

The prices became to high compare with another stores. And something unusual. The different between manual and electric tile cutter is almost the same. 32$ for manual. The offer in internet was between 15 and 20.

Couldnt get the tactical knife from Gordon, number 57455. Out of stock. Staff indicated they keep being stolen and the city will not prosecute the criminals any more, so yeah. Not available.

The place is best known for low price tools. They are adequate for home owners who dont use them often. In my opinion, HFT present such a challenge to HD that HD created its own low price HDX tools.

They have a wide selection of tools at good prices, but they are typically Chinese-made tools of questionable quality. Good if you just need a tool for a one-time project. If you expect to use the tool a lot in the future, I recommend going for higher quality and American made if possible.

The Harbor freight store in Bellevue is beautiful, it’s inside is like brand new, it’s very organized, spread out vs crunched in like Everett location, right when you walk in one of the workers checks in with you if you need to find something specific, it just has the appearance of a very well ran store, defiantly the best Harbor Freight store I’ve ever been in.

I feel a little guilty for not giving 5 stars because the staff here was really great. They provided 5 star service. But I have to combine it with the rest of the experience, which includes the tools I bought. If the tools both worked well and didnt fail, it would be a five star experience. While most of the tools I bought from Harbor Freight pass that test, the stud finder simply doesnt do its job and the Bauer 20V drill fails, needing replacement or repair--twice on the same project in my case.

Update: I was notified this review was helpful and I started looking at the reviews over the last year. ALMOST ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS I SAW 6 MONTHS AGO ARE GONE. I would speculate someones watching the reviews and reporting them.I also reached out to corporate and they had the regional manager talk to me. He responded to one email and then ghosted me. Company does not care about their customers at all.Truly awful place. I bought a few power tools and this happened:1. Originally charged for two angle grinders on accident, instead of angle grinder and battery.2. Also purchased an impact wrench, torque ratings were way off, returned for 1/2 version.3. Lazy associate didnt have the app for inside track member, refused to get someone who had it, paid an extra $20 because it was on sale.4. Ended up returning everything because once again the tools did not meet the claimed torque ratings at all. Employee verifys my card its going back onto, then proceeds to refund me to temporary gift cards I had thrown out. Says Im SOL, nothing she can do. Store Manager said the same.5. I noticed she only refunded me for 3 items, not 4 that I handed her. She didnt refund the battery and said she didnt want to because she didnt know what card it would go on. She wanted me to keep the battery when I returned all the tools.The laziness at this location as some have mentioned is real. I watched one girl work on a return as two others watched her. Lots of standing around, laziness, and zero accountability.The $190 I spent on a 1/2 Bauer impact, battery, and charger.... Well I was able to pick up a better one for $99 at home depot. Battery and charger included.

If youre a professional, my review isnt for you. If youre like me and you sometimes need to macgyver something together or rip something apart, then this place is absolutely fantastic. Can I tell the difference between the low end and high end powder tools? No! Of course not, Im probably not even using them right. But the staff is amazing and pointing me in the right direction, and the prices are fantastic. They have monthly sales too if youre a fan of coupons! Dont forget your safety glasses, and happy making (or destroying) things!

Really cheap tools, best for the typical weekend warrior. Buy quality brand tools if your life depends on it though, such as jackstands and engine hoists.

Great store for inexpensive tools and equipment. Overall good quality without having to pay a huge price. That said, the tools and equipment will not last you a lifetime but they can last for a long while if you take good care of them. Its better to pay a premium for some tools than to go with the inexpensive ones while there are times where a simple inexpensive tool will work for your purposes. Fair amount of parking available on front of store.

Great place to get cheap tools. Some are good value others are junk, so keep your guard up. Grab a flyer when you walk in and use the coupons for free stuff or 20% off.I find the sockets, wrenches, and jacks to be good quality, I dont recommend getting battery powered items here. Unless they use standard batteries such as AA.

Love this place; theyve always got killer deals. As well the exact thing Im looking for Everytime I go. I can honestly say I have never left this place feeling like I paid too much for something I may have not really needed, and the employees help when you ask them for help rather than the Lowes or home Depot where they treat everyone under the age of 55 like theyre planning some kind of heist to clean out the drill bit section.

Great for quick, one use, or specialty tools that may not be needed many times. Or simple hand tools that work regardless if they are cheap or not.

The store manager was extremely rude and condescending during a return. The rest of the staff was very friendly and they had excellent customer service skills. But I would expect a manager to at the very least not be rude, insulting or just display such poor customer service skills or to be offended by being called sir. I went to the store to help my elderly father with a return and asked what the manager would do next time should the same mistake occur because what happened was unacceptable. I referred to the manager as sir because I didnt know his name at the time.However...the manager was offended to be referred to as sir (because thats his dad or granddad) then even went as far to say, I have other things to do so I watched my supervisor check the item. You come to my store and call me a liar in my own store but not actually saying the words really because you are twisting words all sophisticated. Should I just wheel it to your house next time so you can check?Umm...yea...no thank you, sir. How about instead of getting defensive try something like, Im sorry that wasnt ok, we made a mistake. We will do better by actually doing what we said we would do. Had that happened, I would have gladly posted a glowing review about how well the store handled the issue. I can understand if you cant offer a discount as a gesture of goodwill but there is no need to be that rude and defensive when a customer asks for a clarification on what happened and asks how you plan to prevent it from happening again.I have never ever received such poor customer service or even run into such a rude manager. I dont shop at Harbor Freight myself but my father and several of my friends are (or were) huge fan of Harbor Freight until I told them about this experience. I never will shop at the store but I highly suggest avoiding this particular store in the future.4/3/20 Update: After calling the national customer service line, a second store manager called to make things right and offered 20% off the replacement tool chest and ensured the item was actually inspected. This second interaction would be a 5 star rating so I averaged my review rating of both.

Love this place. Good quality tools for less, sometimes way less, than your typical hardware store. If you like to DIY this is the place to shop for tools.

Look for their free item coupons for useful items and 20% off one Item in the Sunday paper, Tuesday mailer, or the back of TV times. What I do is buy a breakaway box cutter for 39 cents and then get a free flashlight, measuring tape, set of screwdrivers, and other items. The flashlight is good to have around in each room for power outages.

Service was good. I came in with a screenshot of a coupon code from the internet and they honored it. They had to go back to the stock room to get the item though (not before sending me on a quest for headlight fluid first). The badge label on the item they grabbed was a little screwed up (might explain why they were on sale!). -- Still, if they had the item on the show floor, I would have picked a different one. XD

Products in harbor freight is cheaper than other place but quality is acceptable. Im believe all are useable for home use.

My experience involved returning an unused, unopened item. I found the employee, Eric, very rude and impolite. This should have been a simple return but he made it very complicated. I would not recommend this store.

Good cheap tools. Have a new line of drills that are much better than typical Chicago line of cheap stuff.

So I go to Harbor Freight regularly to stock up on gloves for my germaphobia. It is just insane- they are a solid like 50% of the price of the big box hardware stores.The reason Ive removed two stars- their system is absolutely terrible. Do not give these people your email address. They will spam you forever, and they purge their in-store system every ~6 months, so at some point theyll just delete you from the local system anyway (but of course the emails dont stop).
