Everyday i get the same meal and almost everyday its a different price. (depends who makes it). but the prices are not worth it. coffee way over priced especially since 7-11 is across the street. think its time to find a new breakfast location

I refuse to spend money in a place in which the employees disrespect the paying customers and arent reprimanded for their behavior! Place, food is great,however there must be a line! This very well may be the downfall of this business. If I were the owner,I would rather have my customers than snauty disrespectful employees!

Constantly messes up orders. They dont write down your order and try to commit it to memory and the next thing you know your bagel is drenched in ketchup you didnt and would never ask for. Bagels are great but the people are sloppy.

Slowest bagel store ever on weekends, line barely moves. I managed bagel store in my twenties, this is not how lines and speedy service should work on a busy weekend Bagels are, GREAT, but so are others in South bellmore and merrick and lines are quick. They should make a line for bagels only, instead of waiting for a dozen bagels behind someone getting 5 egg sandwiches . Need to work in getting people and out. Possibly add a griddle or sandwich only line. They could be great if they get it together.I still visit frequently, when I see no line and close to home. My 2 stars is based on service not on the Bagels

I’ve been searching for a good bagel place on Long Island for my entire life and haven’t been able to find anything great. Until now. These bagels are delicious. Full of seeds, superb dough and tons of flavor! Love them!

Bagels are fresh but the people who work there are grumpy and could use a lesson on customer service! (The Spanish workers have always been nice and helpful tho!)

Every time Im in town I buy a dozen or two extra ones to show non-New Yorkers what a real bagel is. 👊 pro tip for anyone else who does that, too: wrap each bagel in saran wrap and seal them up in a freezer bag to freeze. When ready to eat, pop them in the oven for a few minutes and theyre like fresh bagels! Much better than microwaving them. 👌

Seems expensive for what it is. I can get cheaper sandwiches of similar quality elsewhere. Parking is also an issue here, as the lot isnt all that big and is usually over full on weekends.

Got here waited in line for 15 mins, then finally I called the store and they told me too go behind parking lot of the store for pickup . The owner came out was very rude and said that you cant be here so you have to go back in the line again in front of the store. They miss guide there customers and not friendly at all . I dont recomend this place at all !!

I got the Black Russian with fried egg.It was delicious.I had a hard time ordering but the hostess was patient.It also reminded me of Chompies in Phoenix.Love them and will love this place as well.

I just spent over 30 dollars for 2 sandwiches a bagel and 3 bottled drinks for me, my wife and 2 kids and although the food was great the service was terrible! The grown adult man who helped me was miserable and made me feel that the few things I ordered was a complete bother to him. If your in the customer service industry like I am then you should know how to treat your customers with kindness and respect. Especially if you are over the age of 35. Like I said the food was great but man I will never spend my money there again for feeling like such bother.

Seems the price goes up every year. Their lox on a bagel is higher than it used to be & their cream cheese and lox barely has any lox. The sweeter cream cheese flavors Im not so sure of like pumpkin pie or birthday cake. I normally get cream cheese with scallions or vegetable. They now sell rainbow Bagels for the NYC bagel craze. Also dont park in the front lot its a pain to pull out.

Best Cranberry Chicken Salad I’ve ever had!!!

Ive been coming to this place for as long as I can remember. Their bagels are amazing, and the best Ive had anywhere. For real, this place is essential to the ~long island experience~. Ive never once been disappointed, and despite the fact that it can be busy, the employees are really easygoing! Definitely recommend.

If my rating was based solely on taste I would give this shop a 4.5 but there are other things you have to consider. The service is terrible. If you just want bagels you have to stand in line with everyone getting these out of the ordinary breakfast sandwiches that take the staff forever to make. Get a separate line just for bagels! Anything you buy all gets thrown in the same bagRecently I purchased cream cheese and the dirty container that was sitting on the shelf, then the counter was put inside the same bag with my bagels.It’s definitely better than any other bagel around but it seems like the owners have a bit of an attitude.

Great place for bagels. Not only is it very cheap, they bagels are very good, and theyre extremely fast. Unlike other bagel places, what you see on the menu is what you get. I had an issue with an order once and the owner/manager fixed it for me ASAP and had me on the road within a minute.

I got a dozen bagels this morning for my office and everyone loved them. They are very doughy and crunchy on the outside just the way I like them. It’s been a while since I had a good New York bagel and this place did not disappoint! The lady behind the counter was so nice and helpful. $30 for a dozen bagels, 1/2 pound of butter, 1/2 pound of plain cream cheese, 1/2 pound of lox cream cheese, and 1 medium coffee. With so many bagel places around it’s good to shop prices. They also have rainbow bagels and a wide variety of specialty cream cheeses! Bagel Cafe is on my way to work and I will definitely be back! Quick service, delicious bagels, friendly staff! 🥯😊

First time going here. Rude behavior from the person who took my order. He did not hear what I said and was rolling his eyes. Will never return, even if the bagels are good.

Dont get me wrong, I absolutely love the bagels and sandwiches from this place, and I understand that they can get extremely busy on a routine basis. That being said, being served is sometimes an unpleasant experience, as many of the servers seem to be stressed and can be short-tempered or rude at times. Its not every time by any means, and its never enough to get me out the door, but it is something I bear in mind when I enter the establishment. Otherwise, the food is delicious and reasonably priced, and my experience with the establishment is an overall positive one.

Place is just amazing. Bagels are the best on the island. If you show up and the line is out the door DONT WORRY! They rotate the doors there so fast youll be out in 10min tops.

This place rocks, they have an excellent plain bagel, seems silly but if you cant make an awesome plain bagel, you cant do the rest. The right amount of warm, chewy tasty flavor. Then you add the rest. Loved the liz spread. Very quick, attentive staff, loads of selections, convenient location. Ill be back, more than once

My son called in an order for an egg sandwich and they said they would deliver for free. But they are charging him a small order fee and service charge. the cost was over $10(normal cost $5). we then added another egg sandwich and toasted bagel and they said the cost was $25. this normally costs $14.00 at most. Some stores are doing the right thing and others are taking advantage of their customers. We will never go there again and I think they will just keep doing this because they think they can do whatever they want.

Love the bagels to the point that I crave them but this is the second time the staff has been just awful. The first time (last month) I think the owner or manager as soon as I walked in huffed and rolled his eyes. He asked for my order and after every item I ordered he huffed and rolled his eyes at me. God forbid I asked for salt and pepper: serious attitude. Honestly if I wasn’t so hungry for an egg sandwich and someone else wasn’t expecting one I would have walked out. I gave it another chance and the lady this morning was rude, but an angel in comparison. I would say I won’t be back but it’s close to my in laws. All I know is that if my boss ever caught me treating a customer like that I would be fired on the spot. I guess it’s different if you’re the manager/owner or whatever

Bagels are excellent, nice selection and so yummy. Great selection of other items as well like cake slices and desserts. Also nice deli options. Lady who waited on me could use some brushing up on customer service. Seemed attitudey or like she was being inconvenienced. It was my 1st time there and it was busy so I didnt want to ask too many questions but I may have purchased more if I didnt feel so rushed. Aside from that, its worth the visit.

Its not by chance that the owners of Bagel Cafe have multiple locations. 3 things set the Bellmore Bagel Cafe apart... the longevity of their core staff, the taste of the bagels themselves and the completeness of the coverings and finally the fact that all of the spreads and fish served are fresh and unlike most bagel stores today, you can watch them cut the lox from the fish, cant get fresher than that!!!

Normally love this bagel store. However went in tonight and when I ordered the girl rolled her eyes and gave me attitude cause i wanted a 1/2lb of cheese with my order I asked for it sliced thin and she ignored me cause it was cut thick. It was 6pm... will definitely reconsider going back.

The lettuce wraps are fabulous! Big crunchy and delicious! Its a great option for those of us on low carb lifestyle. I live in Port Washington but look forward to getting one whenever I visit my daughter in N Bellmore. Thanks Bagel Cafe I love it!

I have never had a more unpleasant experience in New York than just now. This place, above its mediocre bagels, is ran by a terrible manger or owner. The owner was extremely rude and inappropriate to very simple requests. This place is failing to meet humanitarian standards with its nasty management.

Always enjoy getting a B,E & C with S, P & K on an everything bagel. Great staff. Work hard to get order ASAP.

Lines around the block move lightening fast at this awesome bagel shop. Huge bagels, warm and well-flavored. Paninis will make you drool. Super fast staff but you better know what you want once you get to the front of the line or you will get the hairy eyeball from the folks behind you!

My family loves this place, especially their meats snd salads. But I feel that they have some of the worst bagels I have ever eaten. They bake them too fast at a temperature that is too high so they are usually very doughy and not very tasty. My fathers uncle was a bagel baker in Far Rockaway years ago and I helped him one summer so I know a little more about bagels than the average person. The staff is great but the owner is ride and should not be involved in customer service

I went to this place twice this weekend. 1st on Sat. Ordered a bagel w cream cheese. Bagel was hard. Was like eating a Bagel out of NY area. Bad. Real bad. I decided to give them another try. Sun, ordered 2 egg sandwiches. 1 w 1 egg bacon & potatos. The other 2 eggs with ham . Both over medium. Well the one with bacon never came with bacon. Back to the counter. Both were done over easy. NEVER GOING BACK. WILL TRAVEL FOR A GOOD BAGEL.

Decent bagels, but they cant cut lox. Thick, thin, inconsistent thickness. Just because you are in this business a long time doesnt mean you know what you are doing or are good at it. Also when busy they precut. Salads are goid, chicken cranberry salad decently made.

I personally dont like there layout of the store which always causes confusion whos online. There sandwiches are always loose so when you bite it falls apart. When you take a sandwich to go they put everything in one tin and the potato salad goes all over everything . I prefer the deli down the block on Newbridge Rd. Theyrd more skilled in the art of a tight not overstuffed sandwich.
