My wife and I totally enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food. Our experience was more personal than the diners we passed on our way here. Well come back again.

Not a great experience there today which it usually is, meaning the food. The waiter was nasty, the food that came out wasnt prepared like it usually is... Im posting a picture of the Chicken Milano that always has the juice they describe on the menu, not dry like this. When I said its different to the waiter he argued that it always is like this! And as usual, the owner will never say hello even though we go there all of the time 🤷‍♀️

Great staff, great food. The homemade corned beef hash was a pleasant surprise. Very tasty, and a definite upgrade from the canned stuff that most places serve. Only disappointment was a very limited breakfast menu. (Breakfast all day menu)

Been a while since Ive been there but as always, the food & service was awesome! Always nice when I get the chance to be in my former hometown!

Food was great and service was prompt. All was well until I received the bill that stated there was a 3.5% check out fee for using a credit card as payment! Since merchants are charged approximately 0.13-0.14% per transaction, theyre making out like bandits! Unless you pay cash...which most people dont. Big turn off, will NOT be going back!

Amazing breakfast here at the Mediterranean Diner. Its a small diner right up the block from the Bellmore train station. The food is really good and fresh. The burgers are a nice size and they have a great variety. Great place to stop in and have a good meal. Place is clean and they take necessary precautions recommended by Dept of Health. They even have hand sanitizer on the tables..

If you are in the Bellmore-Merrick area I highly recommend this diner . The owners are fantastic people, always ask to see how your meal was and if you ever need anything . I have been coming to this diner for years and never have I been disappointed with a meal I have received . Great diner highly recommend !!

Good food, fast service.

I enjoyed eating here. I had chicken souvlaki. It came with a Greek salad and instead of rice I had mix vegetables. The service is great. They kept my soda full. I was bum no lemon potatoes offered.

Ive been eating here since it opened. The burgers are the best around. I know they use Janowskis as I can tell by the taste let alone Ive seen the delivery truck. The reason I give it four stars instead of five is that you must order the burger deluxe. I cannot eat that nor do I want all the fries. My husband and I would like to order one deluxe and one just a burger and we cant. Were informed it only comes one way, deluxe. I dont like not having that option.

The portions are huge and the food is soo good! I got the prime rib and ended up taking half of it home. Our waiter was so friendly too. Definitely recommend.

My bf and I stopped in on a whim late last night. This place is a celiacs dream come true. Offering gluten free bread, rolls and fries you can get pretty much anything your heart desires. Food was delicious, place was clean, staff was attentive. Will definitely be back.

Had a delicious grilled chicken, hummus, cucumber and pepper wrap. Fries are nice and fresh and a cup of coffee freshly brewed. The wait staff is always pleasant. Highly recommend it.

Have only been here for breakfast (with my mom, wife and sisters) and everything has always been perfect. Reasonable diner prices, but the food is always of the highest quality. I usually get eggs, omelets and have ventured out and tried the breakfast burrito. All good and a very good never ending cup of coffee. Staff is friendly and I have been voting daily for them to win the Best on Long Island (2019) Contest! Good Luck!

They offer a vast variety of fresh food. I liked eating here. Employees are always very kind, prices are fair and the spot is always kept clean.

Calling this a diner is really an understatement. They have a great selection and very competitive offerings and prices with many standard restaurants in the area. Pleasant staff and some really good meals. Had a grilled salmon filet two weeks ago that was huge. It was perfectly done and priced similarly to others but was about twice the size of what others provide. It was so impressive that I ordered it again last week and I was not disappointed.

We were a party of 6 and a round table was very accommodating. The typical diner food is always good here. We were pleasantly surprised when a picky friend ordered the salmon and it came out perfectly. The service is excellent and we will definitely be back.

The food I received was good, the food I didn’t receive, well that’s another story. Thank you for sending out my delivery order without the mozzarella sticks I ordered. Thank you for not calling me to tell me you ran out of mozzarella sticks. Thank you for not calling me to see if maybe, just maybe I would have liked something to replace that item, since the whole point of me ordering takeout was so I didn’t have to cook something for my son after working 22 hours. A+ for your customer service!

One of my favorite local diners, friendly service and great menu selection. Stopped in recently and had a mixed experience with a waiter who seemed a bit overwhelmed and got my order wrong, and when pointed out to waiter he said they could fix it but kitchen was backed up so would take a while. Not great experience, but food was good.Also, I found it odd that they don’t allow you to tip on a credit card, so bring some cash.

We have eaten here multiple times. Food is always very good. This is a top notch diner. The prices are slightly higher then other diners, but you wont mind when you taste the food. 3 and 1/2 starts.

In spite of a rocky start with no server coming to the table for about 7 minutes, this diner turned out to have very good food. We had breakfast here, an Eggs Benedict Royal (with smoked salmon) and home fries. The Benedict was very good, with the smoked salmon being not too sharp or fishy but appropriately salty. The eggs were perfectly rendered. The Hollandaise was a bit cooler in temperature than I would have liked, but the flavor was good. The home fries were excellent, with a crunchy, crispy browned crust that was exactly as I like them. Service was good once we were addressed, and attentive.While waiting for our orders to arrive, I noted someone beginning to clean the coffee machine. One of the two lids was taken off the top, and the person cleaning the machine grabbed a mop-like device off the back of the counter, sitting behind the machine, directly on the bare countertop. The mop was used to clean out the top of the machine, and when finished, was thrown back on the counter behind the coffee machine without rinsing and without being contained, just onto the bare counter. We had planned to order coffee, but wouldnt do so after seeing that.Overall, the food and service were good. We just werent that happy that we didnt get to have coffee with our breakfast.

I havent been out to eat breakfast in my hometown in years and we decided to give our old stomping ground a shot. Everything in respects to ownership is the same. They havent aged a day and they still are as enthusiastic about serving Bellmore as theyve always been. The food is better than i remember and their renovation/expansion is beautiful. So glad we stopped by.

Nice little dinner on the corner of Bedford Ave. Very clean. I havent even left yet and Im writing this review. I came here for a quick lunch. Service is quick and great. Food is delicious! I ordered salmon with rice and mixed veggies and it was so flavorful and yummy! They accept Android pay and it was quick and simple and wsksjsn I asked about it the guy was quick to check and see for me without any hesitation. I definitely recommend stopping in for a bite.

For a restaurant in the heart of Bellmore, this Diner should have been able to produce better food. My hamburger was not very good, the chicken giro the kids had was tough and ice cream that was served to the kids was freezer burned.

Ordered takeout. the hostess about 15 minutes to put the order in the computer.(2 BLT on white one with cheese fries)After paying $32.50 we realize these are some VERY expensive BLTS.Somehow screwed up the very difficult order.Manager comes to refund the over payment.We get home with it food. Open the bag to find a VERY dry sandwich on RYE... BURNT bacon and no freaking mayo. Not even in the bag.NEVER AGAIN....................

Ordered a reuben, corned beef was rubbery, straight from the can and packed with vinegar. Youll need to follow up with the staff if you actually want the included pickle and slaw.Maybe just stick to the breakfast food if youre going.

This was very literally the best breakfast ive ever had in my life. Had the grand slam and every single item was the freshest and tastiest food ive eaten. Other diners dont take the kind of care that this diner does. To be a fair review... the bacon was a little overcooked but still enjoyable and tasty. Ive also never seen apples foster offered on a menu and the apples were also so fresh to order. Clean. Fresh. Tasty. Excellent and prompt service. I dont like anything at all ever... and i cant stop saying great things about this. Best meal and most complete meal ive ever had.

Buffalo chicken panini was actually chicken cutlet with hot suase and slice of tomato. Not was I expecting :(
