You can always expect good attentive service. I brought my lawn mower blade in for sharpening expecting to pick it back up at a later date. Oh no! Bill had time so he sharpened it right then and there. Thats great service! I also have them sharpen my kitchen knives. Great job Bill and all you Ace folks. I appreciate you!

Last time I was in there it seemed a little unfriendly with the guys that were working there. You ask a question, just seems like you were waisting there time.Everyone I have talked to that are girls, they have a hard time asking guys for help also.When they ask the ladies that work there. They say they get more help with them.So ladies it you have a question, go ask the Female workers, they help more and less attitude..

Awesome staff, very helpful. Highly recommend Ace Hardware. If you walk without a clue as to what you need for a project, the staff is more than willing to help you solve any problems your running into. Very knowledgeable, and they listen to your needs as a D.I.Yer or whatever your skill level, theyve got you covered.

Great staff, wide selection of product for a smaller store (compared to Menards or home Depot). If you need a random bolt, screw, nail, etc check Ace! Need a random part to piece fix just about any project around the house? Check Ace! The staff is very helpful and kind. Plus you can grab a complimentary bag of popcorn to munch while you shop! Definitely recommend shopping here.

I really love ACE and all the workers there but just the other day I was looking for 2 inch PVC reducer and a young man who’s name I can’t quite recall although I believe his name was joe or Joseph. I knew what I was looking for but this young man insisted on helping me and was leading me towards the wrong products. I tried telling him I didn’t need help but he just wouldn’t leave me alone! I found him to be very unintelligent when it came to your products.P.S I miss the popcorn

I like Ace hardware.Pretty much everything and more than you would expect from a hardware store. And the staff is ready to help you anytime you need help to.

Called to see if you tested pressure gauges on canners. Was told yes and I could bring it in any time and wouldnt have to leave my canner there. Staff at service counter didnt know what I was talking about and were rude. Didnt want them touching my canner. One star is because the lady on the phone was friendly and so was the cashier when we first came in.

Beautiful store. Nice layout. Helpful, honest staff. Amazing product lines. The Valspar paint display was amazing. I especially love the Carefree selection. Extremely vibrant color selection. I found the Cabot product line to be pretty amazing too. Huge selection of grills and patio furniture.

Had an older lady at the checkout embarrass and belittle me. I love the place but this person is terrible. She seems to help out when the checkout gets busy. I will never let her help me ever again. What an awful person.

Great customer service! Every employee asked if I needed help who wasnt already helping someone else. All employees stayed busy helping customers, cleaning, stocking, or checking out customers which is nice to see rather than standing around talking with other employees. Very clean, organized, and well lit.

Needed lawn tools and was trying to find a special tool and a younger guy came and helped me. He found exactly what I needed. 5-star establishment highly recommend for any shopper. This will be the only store I go to for my lawn and hardware needs.

I will rarely go into this store anymore unless I have a specific need. Dont get me wrong, its a really nice store and the people who work there are always extremely Pleasant ends more than willing to try and help with my purchase. They are just too expensive compare to the other places I can purchase the same thing and Bemidji.

I went here in a few days ago they didnt have a big variety of what I was looking for or the quality of product I needed just for a simple set of screws you can find a simple set you have to either buy in big bulk or pick and choose through them and you still dont get very much of a variety to pick between fat Franny thing else yeah its a good place

Always helpful service, easy to find things and fast checkout. Perfect for small projects and asking questions. Verg knowledgeable staff. Recently they are doing renovations.Ace also has alot of random things that you would never think of needing. Kitchen gadgets, as seen on tv and appliances.

I went to ace trying to find a fuse box, a gentleman named Matt helped me. On top smelling like tobacco( He had something in his lip). Matt didnt know the difference from a 150 and a 200 amp breaker fuse . I recommend something should be done about this.

I was looking for a special bolt at Ace and I was having a tough time finding the right one then a nice boy named Christian helped me find the right one and it made my trip very enjoyable to know that the young generation is playing such a strong role in our community.

Always a pleasure shopping at Bemidji Ace. Everyone working there is built around customer service. Ive been shopping their since they opened. Top shelf all the way around. The staffs product knowledge is second to none.

This is a great hardware store. It is much smaller than the places at the other end of town, and the personel are very helpful. It is therefore very easy to get in and out again quickly. They have almost everything you need without the crowds, and long lines.

My favorite things about Ace on the Lake is that the saff is always very helpful They almost always have what I need for my projects, will help finding items needed and even offer advice just ask. My son and I also enjoy the free popcorn :-)

Superb selection of open hardware (nuts, bolts, screws, etc...). If they dont have it, its not in Bemidji. The staff knows their stuff too. They also offer services such as blade sharpening, and glass/screen window replacement. Its easily my favorite store in town.

Everyone working there was available and helpful in finding the products i needed. Joe in rhe paint department was very profeaaional and nice. Able to answer all mu queations and gave many helpful hints and tools that was usefull aa well!

The people there are always friendly and helpful. Unlike a big box store, you can get help with whatever you need.

My son and husband went to ace on the lake today and my husband was treated very badly by an elderly man, this just happened within the last half hour . He went there to buy a drill and the man was the one who helped with getting the Dewalt drill put it the counter as my husband was doing some more shopping and he was talking with another worker about something he needed for his grass whip which he doesn’t need at this time but he would have bought that also but the elderly bald guy came up and seemed annoyed they were still in the store the other guy just told him to call and get a quote over the phone and then the bald elderly man was asking are buying anything else and at this time my husband and son decide not to get the screws they needed the way the man was acting he felt treated badly for nothing but looking around he went to the counter and said he wouldn’t come back and I told him you should’ve just left the drill there and went to Cass Lake the elderly man told it was alright with him myself I feel when being treated badly just leave I could of have went back I have much lighter skin than he does Robin Williams

Usually pretty good service, but today was horrible. They are in the process of resetting some areas, and it was hard to find help. After finding aomeone they radioed to have someone help me. 10 minutes later I left the store without making a purchase because noone came to cut and mark tubing for me.

Ace Hardware always has what I need. Any little part I cant find anywhere else, I can find there. The staff is also very helpful, all of the time.

Bemidji Ace is a wonderful place! Great customer service, everyone is always willing to help!

They were helpful but out of what I needed. But they checked and it will be in Tuesday.

Anything you buy here will likely cost you more than the big box stores in town, but, Ace tends to have more of the oddball stuff I need, different fasteners, parts, that kind of thing. Plus, many of the folks that work here either are tradesmen, or have been, so there is a lot of knowledge to be gained here, they can give tips and pointers on just about any project.

They had everything I needed that day and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Very clean store inside and out

Went in for a chainsaw chain, employee was very helpful. I had a broken muffler, which they couldnt order but he helped me find the part number so I can order it online.

The more I delve into DIY fixes on my properties, the more I find myself gravitating towards Ace On the Lake. They have the staff that seem to enjoy finding the parts I need immediately, as well having the common banter to go along with the distractions of troubleshooting a problem at hand, AND all the hard-to-find parts I require.
