States is 100% legit. This historic building is so cute and located on an idyllic street in downtown Benicia. Great coffee and loved my maple donut. Will try to get up here sooner next time to catch some more variety. Nonetheless. Taylor was a DOLL and made my visit so special. Thanks for taking such good care of me. The world needs more Taylors, actually…it would be a sweeter place for sure.

Nice modern interior design. Friendly staff. Decent bakery goods and drinks. Most stuff could taste better but they’re still good. Lovely packaging, I like their compostable cups. They’re still working on the indoor dining.

Friendly staff, long hours, comfortable space with indoor and outdoor seating, and good bevs as far as the matcha latte with oak milk that I tried. I’m fine with oat milk in a coffee latte, but I don’t think it brings out the matcha flavor nearly as well as dairy milk, but that’s not the fault of this place, and the drink was ready quickly and the proportions were good, including my request for light ice. They make all of their own baked goods, except for the donuts from Donut Plant.

They continue to impress. This time the cashew butter with honey toast... Mmmmmm😋

I love the baguette from this fine bakehouse but it has become impossible to get. At first they made it every day but now Its only available after mid-morning and only on weekends! I just called to check and they have already sold out for today (at 11:10 am on a Saturday). I dont know why the dont plan better and simply make more baguette loaves. Im fed up trying to find the exact moment when I can actually get some and will be going to the other great bakehouse in Benicia from now on.

The avocado feta toast on fresh sourdough was great. Best paired with an iced Banaynay Carmelizer from Dutch Bros Coffee.

Beautiful little Bread and Coffee shop! Was passing thru took a detour into Benicia CA and this place was a lucky winner for a quick coffee stop and to recharge. The smell of fresh bread and coffee roasting was celestial! Breads were/looked FRESH and Uber delicious; wish I had room to have tasted and tried some! the coffee is excellent, they roast it themselves and have been doing for years. will definitely come back to this laid back beach town and recommend the coffee shop to others! Did I say the coffee was excellent it sure was!!

Classy, friendly, delicately delicious. The lattes were not too sweet and that gluten-free oatmeal raisin cookie was a buttery heaven!

My go to place for fresh bread! Omg, the country loaf has a hint of sourdough that’s soft and chewy on the inside with a delicate crunch on the outside. Try something different and grab the sesame sourdough loaf! You can slice the loaf and it keeps for days in the fridge (if it lasts that long). High quality grains go in the making of this bread. Traditional sliced bread is now obsolete in my house. My kids love it! Baguettes are tasty too but not always good the next day. Banana bread is super yummy, it’s the only one I eat sans buttercream.Coffee is delicious as well!

Such a beautiful little coffee shop right across the street from the original California capitol and a really short walk to the port. Overall a perfect little place, in a small town, for a date or to simply get away from the busy city life. Highly recomend! All of their breads are maid in the house and they are delicious.

The latte was the perfect start to the day. The avocado toast was delicious, a lovely combination of intense flavors. We took home a loaf of polenta sourdough which made fantastic open faced sandwiches and toast!

Loved it! We enjoyed Homestead Avocado on Country Bread and Brei I had it on Country toast so yummy. Also enjoyed a Vanilla Latte which paired nicely. Will definitely go back.

They call it toast, but the savory ones are closer to open faced sandwiches (or tartines). Each one is served on a generous slice from a toasted, sourdough pullman loaf. I think it is at least partially whole wheat, but I could only tell from the appearance (not the flavor).

A wonderful oasis of quality and cleanliness. Its a bit of a drive from the valley or the city, but you will be rewarded with quality breads, toasts, and of course espresso. The honey latte and avocado toast is my go to.

This was my first time here and I am beyond thrilled I stopped by. This is such a cute little shop and the ladies that were working were absolutely wonderful. I thought I bought more baguettes than I needed for my family Thanksgiving but everyone loved them so much they disappeared quickly. I will definitely be back and will be sure to order more next time.

A true hidden jem. Accidental freeway mishap led to a fantastic experience at farm and flower on a Sunday afternoon. After narrowly avoiding the sports bar taqueria (?), the high ceiling and white interior seemed almost magical. Brilliant fresh bread, a surprising iced latte, and wait for it, a vegetarian sandwich that had both meat eaters questioning their order? Yeah, this place is fire.

Why do I love this place 5 ⭐️ much? Cause they produce high-quality, delectable, unquestionably amazing EVERYTHING! From their coffee to their cookies, but their X-factor, is their freshly baked bread. You just can’t beat it! It’s the best on the block (they got One House Bakery down the street for bread competition but trust me F&F one-ups them.) My utmost go-to bread is always the baguette and my favorite daily special is the poppyseed sourdough baked on Wednesdays. Absolutely addictive and if you freeze the bread the day you buy it, it will preserve its goodness for weeks! Just slice it up prior to freezing and pop it in the toaster oven frozen for 4.5 mins and it’s perfect! (Trust me I do this almost every morning!)So if you’re ever in the Benicia area, grab some bread (and one of their pastries) and coffee. You won’t regret it.

I have had many well crafted hot lattes here and the toast is always delicious. However, I have to knock off a star because the beverage quality has decreased. It seems like they have decided to cut corners and have lost vigilance in making sure they are steaming the milk correctly. Unfortunately, I will not be able to trust this place going forward to craft satisfactory hot beverages.

A hip place in quaint downtown Benicia with delicious bread/specialty toasts (avocado toast is my favorite), baked goods, and drinks. The people working there are friendly and hard-working and the service is excellent. I go there often and highly recommend it to others!

Really like the atmosphere & decor - warm, airy, farmhouse style. Simple & clean. Nice variety of large tables and a couple bench seats to choose from. Staff was inviting and helpful. Menu is focused and right up our alley with the sourdough toast and combination of options. We had the apple-pear butter and Brie w/arugula toasts. Two very different but both yummy choices. Coffee is solid, and local too. Pretty diverse customer crowd when we were there Sunday midday; it was pretty full but still an easy place to visit with our three young energetic boys, and not get the raised eyebrows treatment. We’ll look forward to the next time we can stop in!

Im so glad I found this place. We had the chicken pesto and the honey toasts and I had a honey and oat milk latte. Eveything was incredible. The ingredients tasted fresh and combined in a heavenly way. The atmosphere was wonderful, as well.

I was so excited for them to open! Was finally able to make it there a few weeks ago. After smelling the beautiful sourdough smell before they opened, I was sad to discover they only sold TOAST! They are a quaint glorified coffee house that offers trendy expensive TOAST. I was so looking forward to a delightful sandwich on sourdough. Sourdough where the crust is crisp, chewy and dark brown on the bottom. Heck, I really just wanted the bread. These are bread loaves cut thick like Texas toast. The flavor is good, but it is just too thick for me. I was really hoping for artisan sourdough bread.

Always an A+ experience here! Great bread and their seasonal toast is amazing. Loved the strawberry jam in the summer and the apple butter for fall is just has good! Can be a bit crowded at times but thats just because people gotta have that delicious bread!

This place has a very cute and open design, it looks like it would make a great coffee shop with one main drawback... there are only 5 tables in the whole place. They have some variety of sweet and savory Toast/open faced sandwiches that they serve as well that gave me an upset stomach afterward (I think I had the winter chicken salad). Also, the prices are steep for what you actually receive.Edit - owner responded to review and refunded the purchase. Ill probably try them again and update my review based on that experience.

Farm & Flour is cute, bright, and clean. The staff is very kind and attentive. The iced honey latte is good but I didnt taste any honey. The iced chai latte was okay - it was lacking flavor. I like a nice spicy and creamy chai latte. The banana bread is very moist, thick and super good. Farm & Flour is a really sweet place. I like it a lot!

Good coffee and different types of bread. I tried the strawberry and basil jam, not so good and wouldnt recommend if you dont care for basil. Husband had the cashew spread, that was oily. Bread was good.

Slow service. I have never been asked to tip on Take Out service. There was a tip jar by the cash register that should be enough. How embarrassing for the staff to ask for tips!

Love this place! The atmosphere is so cozy, casual and charming and the service is always friendly though its not necessarily fast. My teenage sons and I love their toasts, their blueberry doughnuts, and their delicious chicken pesto sandwiches. Reasonably priced too for what you get. The menu is fairly simple and limited but everything Ive had tasted fresh and delicious, the kind of place you go when you want to treat yourself. I always look forward to eating here and am excited to try more of their items. I think it would be the perfect venue for artisan ice cream (hint hint pleeease!) Nice job to this new establishment that is helping to update and upgrade First Street.

Maybe the best banana bread I have ever had. Perfect after bicycle ride snack. Iced mocha would be ranked similarly. Staff is noticeably friendly too. Why cant Fairfield or Vacaville have a place this good?
