This was my first experience purchasing a canopy replacement top for my pergola I had purchased years ago from Target. I love the fact that they have replacements for all kinds of gazebo and pergolas.They said it would take a week, and I had it in 3 days..Bonus #1. I did pay a bit more for a better top and when it arrived I was impressed with the quality, way better than the original one that came with my pergola. Unfortunately, there was a very tiny hole in it, no problem. Bonus #2, the customer service was incredible and they took care of me right away. I would definitely purchase from them again. Love my new top!
Beware that the customer support for Garden Winds does not always send the correct size of canopy (despite sending them photos and measurements). We called several times and was told we had the correct size. We had numerous friends try to get the canopy on. Garden Winds refuses to refund us or send us the correct size cover. Gave one star only because you cant post.
I am so happy with all of interactions with Garden Winds. I didnt have a model number etc. for my gazebo. I contacted them at about 9am on weds morning, an received a reply in about 10 mins. sent them a photo am a few measurements (how many legs). Had an answer w/in half an hour. Had lots of patterns to choose from too. I ordered my choice on Wednesday before noon, an received my top on Friday! Delivered to me in two days unbelievable! 🤗 the material is exactly what I wanted. I will definitely refer this company for their customer service an product! Keep up the good work! Its very refreshing to see GREAT customer service.
The worst experience ever! I sent photos of my gazebo to these so-called experts. They recommended a model looking exactly like ours except the measure reads 12’x12’. I told them that mine is 10’x10’ post to post. They replied and said the canopy was indeed for a gazebo 10’ post to post and it was normal to add one more inch to each side extending the post… It is absolutely my mistake to trust these so-called experts. The product we received was way too big and the serial number did not even match what I saw online. I contacted them and they said that they believe that a smaller model existed but insisted that I received what I ordered… I wasted over CAD$120 on shipping back and return process fees they deducted from the paid amount. I will not recommend this company and will never purchase from them again!
July 2020, I recently bought a Swing cushion replacement, and canopy . After waiting for a month, it came defective. I cant even use it as is. The back of the cushion was sewn on wrong-side-out making the frame pocket inside of the cushion, next to the batting.The company has never offered to replace it or pay return shipping. They will give me a full refund, after I return the defective cushion, and pay return shipping!!!! This is their mistake, not mine! Something is wrong with this picture!!The only thing they have offered me, is a $20 dollar refund, I dont know what for because it doesnt fix the problem!I would have never ordered from them if I had read their reviews first! Reading their reviews, It appears that they run their business by ripping off every-other customer!!This is a warning to the next customer!!
On a 4th of July 2020 we ordered canopy replacement for our gazebo. One month passed. 2nd month passed. We gave an excuse and forgiveness because of the Covid. But we called and asked - when we can expect to receive our order. The guy promised... no later than 2 weeks. Another 5 weeks later... we still didnt have nothing. No email in all these 3 months explaining why we are not getting what we have ordered, no nothing.Today we called again. We were going through the loops of the answering machine and nobody was picking up the phone and on the end we decided to choose option purchase... BINGO! They answered immediately! After checking our order status the girl said that the color navy of our choice is not available anymore and the only color available is beige. And that now the navy will be available only in the spring of 2021. She told me that I have to go on their website and order the beige one, because that is my only choice at this moment. So I did it. No choice, because I need to replace our canopy before holidays. And i decided to keep the other order for the spring of 2021. The summer is gone, but I was thinking, hopefully at least by Thanksgiving we will have a new gazebo canopy. Just couple hours later, for my bigest surprise I discovered email from Gardenwinds ... that both of my orders... HAVE BEEN SHIPPED! Scam... thats all. They push me to purchase the 2nd canopy telling that my original choise of navy is not available and when I did it... they found both!!!!! Very disappointed!!!
I buy a lot of products online, and I try to remain positive and understanding with issues that may arise, but this company just doesnt stand by their products, nor does it value the customer relationship and future business.I bought a replacement canopy for my patio. It was brand new in the box for a year before I set it up. On the second day, I noticed it waving like a flag outside, so I went to check it out and noticed that three of the four corner hooks had ripped off from the fabric it was attached to. It wasnt a really windy day, but there was some wind, which I assume these canopies should be able to withstand.I emailed customer service about this, and since I purchased the canopy over a year ago, there was nothing they could do to replace it or refund me. I understand it is policy for the one-year warranty, but Im not out to take advantage of these companies; Im genuinely disappointed that my $130 was literally flapping in the wind. There is no way to reattach the hooks to the fabric as they are completely frayed.Whats the difference if you are willing to replace the part within a year or over a year if youre going to do it anyway? I would expect that you would want to keep a customer for life at the minimal cost to your company. Its short-sighted to hold firm on your policy when its only hurting you in the long run.Customer service did offer me discounted shipping on my next purchase or an open box replacement canopy, but I feel I should get a brand new one since thats the one I paid for. Ill have people say, policy is policy, and sure, it was over their year warranty, but I expect better of companies today to stand behind their products. Just a truly disappointing experience and a complete waste of $130. It didnt even last two days.
Dont trust anything they claim about a product on their web site. I needed a gazebo canopy replacement. What they recommended was listed on back order, available Apr 2019. With this amount of time before a shipment, I placed my order just to get in line. What do they do without any warning, they ship the replacement canopy. I live in Mich and it is winter time. I shrink-wrap my gazebo frame and store my out door furniture there. I contacted garden winds about this shipment asking why because of the web site stating APR 2019 availability. I was told I can return the replacement canopy within 30 days, pay for the return frt plus a $10 credit penalty. They expected me to remove the shrink-wrap to see if it was the right replacement canopy if I returned it. Garden winds wouldnt work with me on an extended return policy. There the ones that screwed up this order. Dont trust a thing the post on there web site especially if the weather conditions are during the winter months in the Midwest.
Replacement canopy I received was not of good quality, nothing like the original canopy I was replacing. Cheap, flimsy material. Out $20.00 shipping each way and not happy about it.

Ordered a replacement top by size, got it in 5 days as advertised. Took me about 10 minutes to install and it fits perfect!!
Caution do not purchase from them!!! My kids purchased a replacement canopy for my swing, in the description it was supposed to be a heavy duty material. We had it on our swing for 4 mo., stored it in a dry place and got it out in the spring only to have the corner rip. I called the Garden winds phone number to get a replacement and talked to the manager and was told the warranty was for 6 mo..She then informed me the canopys can last from only 1-3 years. The only thing they would do was give me 20% off and send me a new one. So instead of paying $89 we would pay $71.00. Very disappointed, description does not match quality.

I had purchased two Replacement canopy(both started to tear). They did not hold up for more than 8 months. The quality for the Replacement canopy are VERY VERY POOR. I would also sadly report that the 12 mouth warranty was not honored for either of the two Replacement canopy.
Simply horrible company. We send them the exact measurements and photos of our gazebo, we tell them its a 10x10. They tell us to order a model x, which we do. Once the canvas arrives we realize its way too big. They tell us he doesnt know about our gazebo model AFTER the job and we have to pay the handling and shipping charges, besides paying ourselves to ship it. As a result, we lost $ 100 on this bunch of incompetents and we still dont have a replacement canvas. A word of advice: never do business with this company!
