The time that we went apparently was not a good time on August 20, 2020. The entire place smelled of wet mildew worse than any dirt cellar I have been into. It was so bad it gave us a headache within 2 minutes while wearing our covid masks too. We were looking forward to shopping too. Were not sure if there was water damage that happened recently or if it was something long term with the building... I hope it was short-term for the workers sake! The store should not have been open to the public or workers the time we visited it.

Always a great experience going in there. I love the options and sales. Customer service is always happening no matter where you are in the store.

I havent been to JCPenney in a while- more like a couple of years. I felt the pricess were exceedingly high, even for a black Friday. I did buy myself a nice coat for $80 (from $200).

The store was very well stocked and organized today! Two employees offered me a cart for my baby and purchases. One even went and got it for me! The store was pretty busy with about 8 people in line and it went very smoothly and quickly.

Knowledge jewerly counter staff, nice, helpful. Good prices. Like Macys for Bennington.

I didnt have a pleasant experience going to the salon. I took the last appointment for the day and the hairdresser wasnt friendly and was complaining the whole time saying she hadnt had lunch that day and she turned down so many walk ins. I could tell she didnt want to do cut my hair. I ended up just getting a basic cut pretty much and nothing more, no layers, no thinning, no angle cut in the front, no heat or styling. On the up side she didnt charge me for a full service, only Express cut. I suggest not to go to end of day appt.

Stopped in for a few basics and quickly realized that they were about four times more than they were at other stores. I understand that quality items are typically more expensive but in this case were talking about a package of Hanes T-shirts that will be exactly the same elsewhere. This type of markup is inexcusable.

Store is okay. Very little selection for boys which is frustrating given that there is not a lot of places to shop in the area. Staff is always super friendly and maintain the store well.

Nice place good quality items

Went for warm the children to help a family pick out warm clothes for their kids a few weeks ago. The store was torn apart in the kids sections. Nothing properly hung, products were poor quality, overpriced, prices werent accurately placed with clothing and they didnt know the rules for the event and cost a lot of issues for many families. Staff was rude and some didnt even know this event was going on. Def will not be going through them again.

Such a great place to shop. Personnel are always kind and helpful. Wonderful goods.

Closest JCP store to my home - small store, which means a somewhat limited selection, but always seems very well-maintained. Staff is always pleasant, polite and helpful. Returns are accepted for on-line purchases, and theyre handled efficiently and cordially. Great store, & a great asset to the J C Penney chain.

Crappy check out set up. Two registered in an island all expected to form line and wait to be called over. I dont have time for that. Not a good flow. Crappy lay out and smaller than average mens section.

Ok, i think weve all been to a JC Penney at some point. We all know what were getting, a chain store that has nice items at a reasonable price.I like that this location was large and seemed to have up-to-date clothes. Unfortunately it was so freezing in the store that we couldnt stay in there for too long. There was also little organization in the different clothes departments. We could not find petites or juniors.We did find a huge portion of the store that was super messy and overrun with inexpensive clearance items that were thrown everywhere.It just seemed like the store was unorganized and kind of thrown together.
