This location is a Penske Truck Rental agent and as I am a Penske Hiker I make frequent truck moves to and from this location. The owner, Paul, and all his staff are always friendly, efficient and willing to assist in enabling me to complete my assignment. I notice that the premises are very congenial and inviting and from the busy nature of activity there I believe they are well-respected and often called upon by the community for their services. It is a pleasure to make that trip to the lovely town of Berkeley Heights and make a business call to Taylor Rental.

Came here for some chairs and it was quick and simple. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Process to get chairs/other rental equipment is painless and returns are within a reasonable time. Rented some chairs for a party for a really good price and loved them. Will definitely rent from here again

Best place for propane refill and rentals

15 years of light use, never a problem, I live in New Providence. I called a few days ago to inquire about equipment that can take old paint off my concrete floor in my 1 car garage. The guy on the phone seemed a little unsure of himself but I went with it anyway. Came in this morning and got an 18 orbital sander. Explained my situation a little bit more, And they came up with 2 attachments for the sander. The guy showed me how to put the attachments on and how to turn the machine on, easy peasy.10 minutes later Im home, I turn the thing on and it goes wild, completely unexpected out of control and smashed into the wall. I call the store, they put me on the phone with the mechanic, The proceeded to tell me that Ive gotta come back in to be taught how to use the item.... In the quick use I realized there were 2 choices; smash up my garage and either destroy the floor with the one head or do nothing with the other.I pack the item up and go back to the store. Loading unloading and bringing the item back took 45 minutes. I explained what happened to the guy behind the counter and asked him not to charge my card; mechanic giving me grief over the phone, no instruction on how to use the item safely, and to top it all off the guy wanted to charge me full price.Never ever come to this store, this family has lost its way, a shame that its now a failed business which only cares about the bottom line cha-ching.If I had to fight home depot and lowes, I would never stoop to this level to make $75. Shame on you Taylor Rental, If I could give 0 stars I would. Do us all a favor and knock your building down so theres more parking for Trap Rock.

Great service and prices. I prefer them to Home Depot for equipment and truck rentals. Give them a call to see whats available as the online descriptions are a little spartan.

Quality rentals at a fair price. Always have what I need in stock. The gentleman in the back, Walter, who helps with filling the orders is helpful and pleasant. Always has a positive and kind word.

Incrédible staff. Always pleasant and professional. I rented party equipment twice for my sons birthday parties. This company has always been reliable and most importantly delivery was always on time and hassle-free. If I could give more stars I would. Just great experiences with them.

Well stocked with helpful friendly staff

Incredible staff with great prices and great selection. Working in the construction industry, sometimes there is special equipment for certain jobs, and they always set you up with the correct equipment. If you ever need to rent any construction equipment, tents, and party supplies, this is the place to go. I would highly recommend.

We rented a bounce house from Taylor Rental. My husband picked it up the night before the party. When he got home he blew it up and there was mold EVERYWHERE! The smell was HORRIBLE! No way would I ever let my kids inside of it. My husband went the next morning to return it and the person could care less. They did give us our money back without much hassle. Needless to say I won’t be using Taylor ever again or recommending them.

We just rented a table and chairs for Thanksgiving and the service was great. The people we spoke with were very friendly and helpful when we had to make a last minute change to our rental.

Amazing, in and out in seconds. Easy and quick, the slowest thing was the printer (dot matrix - not joking).

Reserved a 24 truck several weeks in advance, and the day before were to pick it up they call us to tell us that they dont have it. Its one thing to not have it, but to give us less than 24 hour advance notice about it is unprofessional and unacceptable.
