My mother has always loved acupuncture. I, being a firm believer in western medicine, was skeptical to try it. I had atopic eczema and had tried every single salve, ointment, lotion, creme, and steroid mixture on planet earth all to no avail. After just four weekly hour-long treatments, my eczema was entirely gone, as well as my sleeping issues which were also being treated. I am very, very, impressed. I have recommended BAP to many of my friends and recommend it to anyone who reads this review.

When I recently came down with an acute illness and life circumstances were such that I could not do my normal self-care treatments, I was fortunate enough to find my way to BAP. I hurt myself carrying a boat hoist. Matt determined that it was a pinched nerve. After two weeks of no sleep and continuous pain I asked Matt for help. Three treatments layer I my back neck and arm were pain free. I would highly recommend Matt.

Sliding scale, great quality, people keep voices very low. Best value for budget. I wish they washed blankets frequently, so bring your own if u are germaphobe bc they dont wash after each persons use. Also, not all chairs are comfy so u have to try a couple.

Asha was super helpful in explaining the process as this was my first experience with acupuncture. All in all it was a super pleasant experience and I will be going back. The only drawback was that this is communal style, so you are in a big room with a bunch of people receiving treatment. Not that this is a problem, but the man next to me feel asleep, quite common, and proceeded to snore loudly so I never felt I was fully relaxed and focusing on my own acupuncture treatment. I suppose this was no fault of their own, but I wish something would have been done - possibly put people prone to snoring in a different section of the room. I will have another go at this place and I do recommend it, but if you get stuck next to a snorer do your best to focus on your own treatment.
