Excellent salesman, Jim very helpful and answered all our questions, Savannah does the scheduling and sending invoices thorough and accommodating. The guys who installed are fabulous did a great job installing. The product the garage door is the best quality product. I would highly recommend shopping here!

I have purchased three entry doors from Berkley Home, Door & Window over the last five years. Two of the three installs needed additional work for issues with the frame and such. Two of the installs cracked my siding and required multiple appointments. And if you have issues or questions past a short amount of time, they will refer you to handyman and offer zero support. Very poor customer service in my opinion.

I set up an appointment for someone to come to my home to give an estimate for interior French doors. I was called the night before by a man named Todd to let me know he would arrive between 10 and noon, so I arranged to be home (with my two young children) during this time. Todd never showed up. He didn’t respond to my call, so I called the office and was quickly informed, somewhat unapologetically, that my Detroit address couldn’t be serviced. When I asked when I was going to be informed of this, having given my address when I set up the appointment, she said she didn’t know. When I asked why my address couldn’t be serviced, she said it might be a “bad area.” We are looking to pay for a quality door, and after this unprofessional interaction will happily spend our money elsewhere.

I had a small but specialized door repair issue. Karen and Savanna at the front desk were patient, professional and caring. They were backed up due to social isolation restrictions but followed up several times and eventually scheduled a service call. The installer was very skilled efficient and courteous. We are very satisfied.

I called them in early June 2020. George came out to house on 6/10. Measured, photographed, told me hed get back to me with a quote. Ghosted me. I emailed and called him. Nothing. On July 24, 44 days after his visit, I called the office. Asked whats up. Was told by Savannah that George was waiting to hear from Fred, their contract installer, about brickwork that was related to our job. She called me the next day to say they would decline the job. No way to do business.

As a notorious DIYer I have to say I am very glad to have this company help us out on our garage door. My husband and I were bent on fixing it ourselves when it wouldnt open. After hours of puttering with the cables we saw the torsion spring was broken and called around locally to see if we could get parts. This was friendliest local company that was willing to sell us the parts: torsion springs and winder bars. After much deliberation and looking at videos of people getting injured by messing with springs, my husband and I decided to pay the extra money to have a pro do it. (I also found a coupon on their site which helped bring the cost down.)I want to say I AM SO SO SO SO SO VERY GLAD we chose that route. Not only was Mike very professional and FAST (job was done under 40 minutes!) he was gracious enough to answer all the questions I had and even call me back to answer yet another question I had after he left.It feels great to have the garage door working again!Thank you Home, Door & Window for the great service!

We were going to get three doors replaced by this company. We started with the back door. They installed the door with a metal base plate that goes from the outside of the house to the inside and now during the winter water and ice develops all across the plate in our dining room. Its drawing freezing cold into the house. When I contacted them the first winter after the install they said it was not their problem. The door itself is fine, so two stars, but we didnt have ice and condensation inside our dining room with our old doors, so Ive been very disappointed.12/2019 Update: They sent someone over to look at the door after I posted this review. He admitted its not a weather seal issue, but how the door was installed. The manager has been very dismissive, saying she doesnt know why they installed the doors that way so she refuses to assist with a fix.

Went to facility on the recommendation of a friend in order to purchase a garage door. Staff very welcoming and easy to work with. Answered questions about purchase and installation. Woukd highly recommend and will use them again for future door and/or window purchases!

Avoid George on all projects. George does not follow through, he ignores complaints, and is careless with estimates. We had a garage door falling off the tracks for two years before it finally was corrected. Window estimates were ridiculous, adding $5,000.00 extra for a special run color without discussing options. We were not a new customer and had spent about $25,000.00 with a previous excellent manager that left the company. Talk to anyone but George, which is in comportment with other similar reviews of this company.

Save yourself a trip to one of the Big Box Stores . Jim Hardin ( Building Sales Manager ) was extremely Knowledgeable, Kind and Helpful .

Pretty hard to buy Marvin Windows from this supplier when they promise to quote windows then never do. Plus Im a remodeling contractor.

Terrible customer service. I called to get a quote and the receptionist was gruff, unwilling to help, and hung up on me.

Slow to provide quote for two exterior replacement doors. My guess is install will also be a very long wait. I recommend getting multiple quotes. I was going to order as soon as I received a quote, I didnt realize they were going to take so long.
