After finding that the Walgreens pharmacy at Harlem and Roosevelt was no longer open 24 hours, I came here at 10 pm after a visit to urgent care, hoping to fill my prescriptions. The gal behind the counter told me it would be an hour and a half to fill two basic prescriptions. WHAT? An hour and a half? There was no one ahead of me. I took the scripts back and said I needed to get some sleep and that Id go to Costco in the morning. She never offered an apology or tried to expedite it. Absolutely ridiculous. Honestly, how high can the demand be for prescriptions to be filled at Walgreens on a Thursday night?
This review is for the pharmacy. My prescriptions are always ready in a timely manner. The staff is very nice and work fast. It does get busy here but that is expect it. Overall, this is my pharmacy of choice.
I brought back crutches that I purchased at the walgreens on 63rd. I have the receipt and the package unopened . My sister had a pair so I no longer needed them. When I came to this location (which was the first location I came looking for them, someone here told me to go to 63rd because it appeared they had them in stock) I presented Dulce the receipt and the crutches and she stated she couldnt credit back debit card because I didnt make the purchase here. She not once attempted to find a solution she looked at me with a blank stare surprised I would request such a thing. At the end she stated she could give me store credit but I rarely shop walgreens. I didnt pay with a walgreens gift card I paid with my hard earned money! This is ridiculous! And this is my neighborhood walgreens. That was horrible especially since Im struggling to walk.
1st off they sent a text for prescriptions that were ready..i go they said it was to ask if we wanted to refill ..ok.. Ill go back at 850 for my scheduled appointment for my vaccine... it was 918..n they barely got my information... wasted my time and made me late for work waiting for nothing
The workers in the pharmacy are rude and feel no need to explain anything at all. They are forcing patients to believe they need insurance to receive the Covid-19 vaccine and are putting up a barrier and making it difficult to get vaccinated. JUST GIVE THEM YOUR ID DONT GIVE THEM YOUR INSURANCE THE GOVERNMENT PAYS FOR THE DOSES PLEASE GET VACCINATED
They need to do something about people Parking in the handicap parking spot without a placker

Horrible service and attitude.
Called automated system for refills 12/08/20 and was forwarded to pharmacy as 2 meds needed doctor approval. Tech said hed fax the doctors but left off one med when he read back my order. I asked him again to refill the med he forgot and again he said hed fax the doctors. Today, 12/10/20, I never heard from Walgreens regarding the one refill the tech kept forgetting, so I called Walgreens and an associate said the request was deleted from their system. I asked AGAIN for a refill and called my doctor who said she never received a request from Walgreens. I had to request a refill 4 times and still havent received it.

Update: over the last 8 months my experience here at this location has been awful. Prescriptions are never ready, and the wait in line is usually a 25 minute wait. Communication is terrible and the cashiers work extremely slow even when they see the long lines. They’re is no sense of urgency.The staff at this Walgreens pharmacy are always helpful. There are some days that they are overwhelmed and communication is lost, but over all they are always looking to provide great and caring customer service.
During my visit I needed to exchange a Christmas gift. Although the process was cumbersome, the staff came together to show the cashier the best way to do the exchange. Polite and friendly, everyone helped me get the right item. I come to this store several times a week and I always leave satisfied.

Went this morning at about 5am and the pharmacist who was working was so delightful !!!!!! I have never met one with such an outstanding demeanor. He told me exactly what I needed to hear just after getting out of the er and not feeling well at all . He said don’t worry mam I’ll work on this right now and you’ll get home and start feeling better !!! WOW !!!!This will now be my new pharmacy home ❤️
Waited 28 minutes in the drive through. When I got to the window they were rude and rolling their eyes at me.Terrible, terrible customer service. Need new people in the pharmacy. Even the manager was rude. Have not gone back since. Dont go there. I thought the customer was always right. Need to go to some training!!

I press the button they have to get an associate to help me. I waited there 10 minutes and no one ever showed up. Why lock things up if you cant help customers get the items they need.
The worst customer service in the pharmacy department! I needed Tylenol for my baby who is six months old, n for my 16 month old so on my way to taking them to the babysitter I stopped by the drive up to ask if I could purchase it there so I wouldn’t take out my sick babies. This was at 545 am with absolutely NO line of customers waiting. Whoever was there said I needed to go inside, lazy no customer service staff.
Worst pharmacy Rxs always delayed,, no one ever has an answer as to why it takes so long to fill prescriptions. Express pay- please should be called delayed pay!
Seeing that I get off really late at odd hours of night from work... The night shift never seems to be in good mood to help you.. this is including pharmacy as well. The pharm tech or pharmacist forwardly without asking explained what every medicine was intended for .. what if I had my kids in the backseat or someone along with me that doesnt need to know that information? Isnt that a HIPPA violation? Theres a reason why OTHER pharmacies give you the OPTION to explain what your medications are intended for. If your not happy working there, then leave.

Terrible umm Terrible service. Avoid this Walgreens at all cost. Went for my med and not ready. Im on auto refill and either way I pre order it. So I go through the drive through they tell me they do not have it. I asked why not no answer, they claimed because of the holiday weekend. So options are to call other Walgreens to check if in their stock. They tell me go around until they check if not come back until Tuesday. I said no check its my turn I waited as others will all of sudden she checks and they have it. What kid of service is this? This is not right at all. Bad service. This has happened more than once at this store

First time dealing with the Pharmacy. Seems like they got your complaints guys! The young lady who assisted me on the phone was beyond nice and when I went to pick up it was ready as they said it would be.On to the bad: Most of the time, products I want to buy are not in stock or are no longer carried. Frustrating!

Horrible and rude customer service when it comes to them helping in pharmaceutical area. They are supposedly there to help you when sick but make it hassle when picking up a prescription with them it never fails with this location.

I spent three days walking back and fourth from this Walgreen because for 3 days in a row they kept telling me my medication will be in, thank God on the 4 rh day it was in otherwise headquarters would of gotten a phone call
