Beware!! This fast talker is as close to a crook as I have ever met. He told me it would cost less than $200 to service my A/C. $60 for 2 lb of freon and $125 for labor to vacuum the system and refill with freon.He had my wife sign a repair ticket that was not completely filled in with prices. He told her to just fill in the top portion and he would fill the rest. Told us to come back in 1 hour. One hour later he tells us the compressor is bad and it will cost $1,200 extra for the compressor and dryer plus additional labor. I told him the compressor clutch was engaging this morning before I dropped it off. He got nervous when I started looking and found the compressor was unplugged. He said well after I have serviced it you may be ok, Ill plug it back in and try it. The compressor started turning and the clutch engaged but it was still blowing hot air. That is when he said it has a bad compressor clutch which is less, but he wont change it, he will only change the compressor with clutch.I told him I would pay him and move on. The ticket was inflated to $275.65. I dont think he ever vacuumed the system or added any freon as he charged me for. I will find out when I take it to a reputable shop.

So thankful I went for a second opinion and went to After 5 Automotive. Owner was super knowledgeable and fixed my AC on my car!!! He did not try to over sell me like the dealership. If you are looking for a trustworthy place that knows how to fix your AC this is your place! Thanks for your help

He was very dedicated to getting my air conditioner repaired so that I could make it to an appointment out of town on time. He is very knowledgeable and stands behind his work.

He was nice and professional. Very helpful and now we have air conditioning for the summer. Will be coming back for a tune up, he is our mechanic from now on.

I called Alan around 1:30 on a Saturday and told him about my a/c on my 2011 Yukon XL Denali. I noticed it stopped cooling at idle. I was not able to bring it in right away due to I was getting lunch for my family. He worked with me, and I was able to get my Yukon to him at 2:30 or so and he got my car cooling like it is supposed to be cooling again. He did the job right and took the time to suck down the a/c system like you are supposed to. And charged the a/c back to what the Manufacturer suggests. It is working like it used to now. Alan is honest, hard-working and will not sell you extra things that you dont even need. Alan is a professional all around mechanic!

The man that answered the phone to see if they where open was rude over the phone so there not getting my service today.

The man is very knowledgeable on a/c systems and probably cars in general. However he talks too much. He talks too fast. It seems he charges just to be in his presence of wisdom. He’s not cheap. A mechanic that speaks that fast knowning he knows more and you probably don’t know a thing to me is a bad sign. He’s trying to spit a bunch of information at you sounding very wise with what he’s talking about but in the mean time you don’t know what he’s talking about. He provides assessments without a repair. His assessments cost quite a lot and at the end of it he hasn’t done anything expect spit out a bunch of information that you couldn’t hear half of. I don’t trust fast talking mechanics. I would not recommended this gentleman. I held up my deal by ponying you about 300$ just for him to look at it. I felt like he could have done more. I felt like he knew what the problem was instantly but knowing I don’t have a clue about it he of course suggested added more costly things to be done to it. It’s so hard to find a good car salesman, mechanic, tire shop. I would not recommend this guy. I have to add this is here for I just now found out about it. When I took my car in to have him look at the a/c he wanted to put dye in the a/c system that shows a bright color of where a leak possibly could be. He charge me $75. It’s online for $6.

Allen is a very nice and honest man. I was referred to After 5 by my friend Roseanne. I took my car to him after sudden car trouble and he found out it was just a spark plug, so he changed it and the spark plug wire and my car was back to its normal self. A few days later, I took my car out of town and the same issue came back. So I called Allen and told him what was going on, he told me to keep and eye on it and bring it back in when I got back to town. Come to find out, a different spark plug had gone out. Allen then changed that plug and wire and didnt charge me a penny more. Car is running great again! I will definitely be taking my car back to him for future maintenance! I highly recommend After 5! Best place to go down to earth guy who knows what hes doing and have years worth of experience. You could sit there and talk to your off or let him. He helped me out with three different things on my car even though I only paid him to do the AC. I have a tiny little car he wasnt quite familiar with it first and quoted me on the high-end. Got so many referrals from friends I just had to try them out. Get there and after everything said and done the guy only charged me half of what he had estimated. He likes to estimate a little on the high-end just in case cuz usually he runs into more problems and luckily my car didnt have more problems. You did give me a couple pointers. Even got a dr. Pepper while we were sitting for my AC to recharge.

Terrible customer service, the man was very rude. In addition, he was not clear at all with the prices, and he almost made sign a paper to compromise me and made him pay more than $100 dollars fee for just looking at the car. I was not aware of that fee until I told him all I need it was a quote.

Alan always gets me in and out ASAP.He has gone above and beyond for me several times, and has saved me hundreds finding cheaper parts when he can, and reusing what will hold.There’s no one I’ve ever trusted more with my car, and anytime I ever need anything done, I’ll always check with him first!

After 5 Automotive has been my choice for auto. repairs for the past 15 years. Mr. Patton is easy to explain problems to and my repairs are always 100%. I have never had to ask him to correct or repair the same problem. You should use After 5. You wont be disappointed. Never be overcharged or uncertain about your repairs again.

I received horrible service from this repair shop. Allen was dishonest and scammed me out of $170 with no repair to show for the money I spent. He used his young daughter as an excuse for not servicing my vehicle, claiming his daughter was sick and that he had to go check on her each time I came to check on the progress of my vehicle. If youre looking to repair your a/c at this shop, go at your own risk!

Charged 2x the price of the same part online. Inflated labor hours. Refused to install a part I supplied after I had already incurred the tow charge.I liked the retro leather chairs in the waiting area, though.

Too many shops do haphazard repair work, or purposely sabotage your car so something else is set to break after you get your car back and drive a few miles, causing you to go back again and again for more repairs.If youre looking for a mechanic who shoots straight, do the job right and wont try to pull a scam on you, this is the guy you want to go to. After being burned many times at many places, this is the one guy Ive found in OKC I can trust for repairs. Definitely recommended.
