We had the first tee time out and when we arrived the Head Pro was helping staff with carts and then filling divots on 1st tee box. The entire experience showed great leadership from the top. Everyone greeted us with utmost respect. First time players at this course (son and I) and the course was meticulous in every respect. When we finished golf we played The Forge! 18 holes of difficult putting. I have played 150+ courses over my years and I have never seen such a great concept. I have already told several of my golfing family about this great venue. I/we will be back (live in Pa). Hats off to the entire team! THANKS, FYI TPC Deer Run recommended this course as theirs was under construction.

Always enjoy Palmer on a Saturday morning especially in the Fall. I will say they do have a huge pot hole on the back of hole 2 that was unexpected and rough for the golf cart. As well as, the restroom on the front nine being over ran by gnats could use a good clean before I get back out there in the next couple of weeks. Other than that, love to see all the new amenities and work the Palmer team has been doing over the last year or so.

Palmer Grill is great place to host a small event or gathering. Lots of indoor and outdoor patio seating to choose from. The food is priced for well for what they offer. They have a nice selection of menu items and draft beverages. I’d rate the food 4/5 if you’re a foodie, however, great taste for the price. Check their Facebook for weekly specials and live music. Don’t sleep on this venue for food or if you need to host an event.

This is the worst place I have ever played golf and I have played at quite a few courses in and out of the quad cities. The course itself is very nice but the management is terrible. We teed off at 6:25 am, there were not many people there, they forced us to play with another twosome we did not know (during covid!). This ruined the whole game for me, they were far better than us and the intimidation was horrible. Also, someone with the course (I assume the owner) was absolutely plastered drunk at 7 am following us around harassing us. Aside from this all it was more expensive than several TPC courses I have played. Stay far away from this one.

I ate here at the restuarant a few times the hamburgers are worth ordering I think some of the other food is hit and miss, once when the restaurant was packed full of people I still got my food fast, thats impressive. The waitresses are nice and make you feel welcome I look forward to going back. Google doesnt give the correct time the kitchen closes on sundays you might want to call here before you stop in

My black husband and friend has been discriminated against two weeks in a row now by staff while golfing.Last time they were told they were going to slow, when they could not move any faster than the group in front of them. They asked the group ahead of them if they were told they were moving to slow by staff and they had not. This time they were told they were first going too fast and then later told they were going too slow. When they sped up to sit and wait for the person in front of them to finish, they asked that person if they were told by the staff if they were going too slow and they had not been approached by staff at all.The only two black men golfing and approached by staff...Please make this make sense....

Recently took a lesson with Alex Grell. After a few short minutes he was able to diagnose some areas of my swing where I could make improvements, and walked me through some easy to do drills that made an instant positive impact on my ball striking. If you are looking to improve your game, I highly recommend Alex.

Palmer grill is more than hot dogs chips. Im there because of the golf but several of my buddies and myself have taken 45 minutes on the turn(thats us finishing the front 9, eating, and finishing and the back 9) and were always happy with their broad menu. Even if you are not golfing, stop in.

One of the best kept golf courses in the quad cities. The layout is challenging and has a good mix of par 3 and 5s. We play here numerous times a year. Pace of play is decent and they Marshall’s to help. I would recommend anyone looking for a well kept quality course to play here.

A Very Nice Course. We are a mens club that comes to Davenport each May. We have played this course going on 5 years now. It is a very fair course, not very long, with different and interesting holes. Has a good driving range. Course is always in good shape. A great place to play to get your year started.

Great course but serious lack of management and common sense. A round of 18 holes should never take 6 hours. But it happens here! If you book 2 outings on a Saturday, where is the ranger? Drunk amateurs should not control the pace of play. Get your stuff together and this place could be great.

Nice course for the most part. Went last week 4/13/18 and feel like I really got ripped off. I paid $42 for 16 holes since 2 have been under construction since last year. It was also what I would consider pre season since it is was a cold rainy April day. I played several times last summer for $26 including the cart, when I told the guy in the pro shop he basically called me a liar. My friends and I will not be playing there until things change.

The actual course is fine..nothing spectacular or different then most munis..somewhat overpriced imo but since its really the only course in the middle of town its always got business. Now the reasons I will never play here again.Unprofessional staff..While paying greens fees I have the person working in the pro shop having a conversation with a friend of his while they were laughing about ignoring the phone, which kept ringing..Didnt effect me, but its good to know thats how they operate. Now my REAL gripes..I had twice..not once but TWICE people who were not in the field of play interrupt my game..Apparently its okay at this course for locals and league players to practice on the same whole youre trying to play golf on.. I had some JA his balls into me before I chipped onto the green at number 12 (by the clubhouse)..and then on 18 I had a foursome of idiots who were in a league who decided to use the 18th green as a practice green while I was trying to finish.Beyond ridiculous when golf is supposed to be a sport of traditions and respect, to allow this right in front of the pro ship. I not only had to wait on the tee box for 10 minutes before realizing they werent a foursome up ahead of me but jackals playing around..I hit my tee shot and then they still wouldnt move so had to actually drive up on my cart to chase them off so I could finish my round. Also this course posts that golfers are responsible for all damages done while golfing by accident..which is funny being that they or the homeowners are 100 percent responsible for any damages in the course of play. All in all Ill never golf at this course again, its overpriced and the only real selling point is the fact its located in the middle of town..The best courses to play in the QC and within 30 mins Id list as followed.Fyre LakeHighland SpringsEmeiskewanneeAledo
