I was in and out quickly and didnt have to wait long. Maybe 5 minutes. They have late appointments which is nice because I work late. My mom got her glasses in a week and I got glasses for the first time and hopefully theyll also be in within that time frame. They are very friendly and I brought my toddler and they cooed over her!I would recommend again.

Had appointment for son waited 35 minutes. Others that just came in..no waiting. I went to counter to see how much longer. They odveously never checked him in right. Only got a comment.. Didnt you see the eye doctor yet. Also saw another couple walk out. So did we. Dont recommend at all.

They have been sending us appointment confirmation text messages. We also got one this morning stating “Visionworks: Brianna, we look forward to seeing you today @ 10:40AM. STOP ToOptOut” I arrived to my appointment today and they had cancelled it. Very frustrating with a poor explanation for why this has happened.

This place is really good. They are professionals and genuinely look forward to help their customers. I am surprised with the overall low rating :/However, a heads up if your appointment is at certain time, please dont be late as they mark that appointment missed after 10 minutes if you are not present there mainly because of their tight scheduled appointments and its hard to reschedule due to Covid.However, they used my previous eye glasses and figured out my prescription which was really helpful :)

This has been my go-to store for 5 years for glasses or contacts. Everyone is very friendly and I haven’t had any problems with service. What was frustrating to me though is I ordered a new pair of glasses that I needed adjusted so I called ahead and had scheduled an appointment for 11:20. I waited until they called my name at noon to finally adjust my glasses. It was a process that took two minutes. There was no reason for the forty minute wait. Everyone in the store is pleasant but they must be understaffed and overwhelmed. I would rather have come on a different day if I knew the wait would be so ridiculously long for a two minute procedure. Or if they told me when I got there it would be such a long wait, I would have rescheduled.

Trying to cancel for today, 1/04/2021 at 10:40. Cannot contact a live person, live chat minimum of 3 times failed. I had cataract surgery and want to buy new glasses. I have script from surgeon for lenses.

I’ve come to Visionworks for years and have always had great service from basically everyone there. I’ve always left with a smile because they’ve all have been so helpful.I went in to buy new glasses and was taken back by the sudden rudeness. I was greeted, by who I learned later, her name was Holly. I was approached at the front with a short “what can I do for you today” no Good Morning, how can I help you? When I said I needed to purchase a pair of glasses, it was a quick “do you have an appointment today” and I said no, I didn’t realize I needed one and it was a response of everyone needs to have an appointment. I looked around and no one was there and she quickly said I guess it’s quiet now we can get you in. I offered to make an appointment for what would be a more convenient day and was told no, you’re fine. I didn’t feel fine, I felt like I was a nuisance. As I was looking around at glasses I would catch Holly and another employee looking over at me, rolling their eyes, and I even overheard “she’s a walk in you don’t need to see her right away”. There were other people in and out of the front desk who were cheerful and happy to greet the people who came in.I sat down with Toni and she was great. She pulled up my previous orders and made sure I was getting my lenses the same as I had before and explained how my prescription change would effect my new glasses. She explained about needing to monitor the amount of people in the building and how to navigate the phone system when setting up to pick up my glasses.Ive debated writing this but I guess I’m writing this to just say it’s hard to navigate through all the virus stuff. I’ve always had my appointment at my Drs office then come right over to you guys. I wasn’t thinking since I’ve never had to have an appointment before. It’s hard to get out and try to do as much as possible in one day. I hope everyone can understand that it’s tough for businesses but it’s also tough for the every day person.

We use Vision works all the time at my job and they are always very fast and orders come in within a week or so. I decided to try them out for my personal glasses and its been a month since I PAID for them havent heard anything. I tried calling multiple times to see where they where at would be on hold for 20ish minutes before I would just give up and try again later. Finally contacted corporate to ask about my glasses they said they where done and had been shipped Oct 2nd and should be there. I got all excited so I called the store just to check before driving over there. Again it took 20 minutes to answer the phone. Only to be told that both pairs of glasses where not in and to try and call back later in the week. I get that it is a pandemic but come on they didnt even call me to tell me my regular glasses where in and they where just waiting on the sunglasses. I can safely say I will not be going back again. Hopefully I get my glasses before the end of October.

I have chronic dry eyes. During my telehealth visit (the only option they gave me) I told her that in order to be able to wear my contacts I needed restasis. She said I would have to make another appointment with the in house eye Dr to get that prescription. So when I did that and was seen by him he claim only an ophthalmologist or my primary could prescribe that medication to me. I found out that was BS. I dont know what his problem was but because of them I either have to pay for a whole new exam out of my pocket or not wear my contacts. A big waste of my time and money.

Made appointment online.Answered all medical and details possibe,only to be asked all over every question I previously explain. I asked for contact scrip and eye glass script and pupil distance measurement. I have Davis insurance that I pay $67.08 per year. I go to pay and receive scripts I have only 1 no pupil measurement.I spoke to receptionist, person that took me in exam room before doctor and doctor on what I was there for. All three were told and I stated in in computer form my need.At check out I was told I had to go back into doctors office for contacts scrip. He said I would not be good with contacts even though I have had them for 15 years? I did not realize that he did not give me contact script or measure pupil distance till I am back out at payment desk. I leave at this point with only a eye glass script at a cost of $34 to Visonworks and $67 per yr for insurance or $101 for total cost.I now read how that they had to pay over 4 million for buy one get one free RIP off that they promoted. Not a honest business. I did stop the next day to get pupil distance. I will go to Costco in Syracuse and get new scripts and buy contacts and glasses online.Insurance is a RIP Off also. I feel visonworks deliberately held back because they knew I was buying contacts and gasses online and not from them. First and last time there.

It has been close to five weeks since I ordered two pairs of glasses. After two and a half weeks I received what was supposed to be my sunglasses. They were wrong came with transitions lenses which I specifically told the gentleman multiple times I did not like transitions and I ordered polarized lenses. Called the store over 20 times in a day and a half and could not get through, finally went to corporate customer service explained my issues and was told there’s nothing they could do I have to contact the store. Called dozens more times and finally went to the store where they were obviously irritated I did not have an appointment but reluctantly let me wait. The woman who checked my orders said my standard glasses had be cancelled? Cancelled ? I never got a refund how were they cancelled, apparently a mystery. She reordered the standard and the correct sunglasses, now five weeks after my original order and payment in full all they have are the sunglasses. When I ask about the regular pair they seem confused and just tell me they are not here yet but can not track or offer any more information. I know we’re in a pandemic but FIVE WEEKS to wait for my glasses it unacceptable. Never again Visionworks!

Ordered glasses when arrived wrong script. Tried many times to call THEY do not answer phone.I drove 15 miles while still on hold enter business and spoke to attendant. HORRIBLE THAT THEY CANT TAKE PHONE CALL.I WILL NEVER GO TO ANY VISIONWORK AGAIN,

Arrived a few minutes early for my scheduled appointment. Was told I had no appointment and that they called me to confirm I was coming. No call ever occurred and no voicemail was left. I’m a younger person, I live on my cellphone. ZERO calls were ever made to me. They attempted to reschedule my appointment but I’ll gladly take my business elsewhere. If they aren’t competent enough to set appointments I’d never trust them with my eyes.

I had an exam almost a month ago, and was told I would receive my new glasses in about 14 days. When I called and asked, a lady told me they wouldn’t be ready until the 29th. Now I’ve been calling for hours with no response. Guess I won’t be getting my glasses any time soon.

I’m going to give an honest review and say that some employees are disrespectful as well as the doctor. I came in for contacts and we’ve tried many options but the contacts weren’t working for me which is fine I’ll just find a different place, but the thing that made me upset was the way the doctor told me he couldn’t find contacts for me. Instead of saying “so sorry we couldn’t find you a pair, maybe try a different place” he told me “you’re stuck with glasses for the rest of your life” I honestly felt so upset by what he said because I’ve always wanted contacts because glasses made me feel less confident, and to hear him say that to me made me want to break down. Never going there again.

We (family of four) had been going there for a few years. Every time we went they were way behind on times. We went there today for 12:00 & 12:15 appointments. At 12:40, Dr Prudhoome decided that the 12:30 appointment should go in before us. I got up and left. They just lost four customers.

Id give a 0 stars if Google let me. I made an appointment weeks ago and got a call less then 24 hours before the day finally came for new exam saying they no longer take my insurance. Thanks for wasting weeks I could have gone to anyplace else. Last year the optometrist talked me into a much lower strength pair of contacts to correct my vision, that I thought was a dumb idea but I did it anyways. 3 days of blurry vision, no change. Years ago after getting glasses that the prescription was obviously wrong, i took them back and they tried bending them to correct it. You see my point yet? Its a shame because they are almost walking distance from me...

I called to try and make an appointment for an eye exam and they were full, but they told me they had walk in appointments every :45 on the hour. I went at 11:20 and the 11:45 was full so I came back at 11:45 for the next one. I was then informed that the Dr. was 40 minutes behind and that I probably wouldnt be seen. I then asked why they did not inform me of this when I called earlier or stopped in 25 minutes prior to that. The front desk morons just simply himmed and hawwed as these things happen and its not a big deal. I then asked them why my time being wasted by their immeasurable incompetence isnt a big deal and they had no answer. Thanks for wasting my lunch hour.

The staff, including the doctor, were all EXTREMELY rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. The frames are overpriced, and low quality. I walked out because of their behavior. I wouldnt suggest this place to anyone.
