I drove from Fargo to pick my bike up and they were very accommodating to my time frame and were able to get me taken care of and out the door promptly. Customer service was great, highly recommend!

Great experience with my recent purchase of a Specialized mountain back and pull behind Burley cart. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable as well as considerate of customer needs. I’m happy to have this store as a local option to support!

Wanted to get bike for my wife and I to ride with the kids and for an alternative to jogging. Stopped in at 701 Cycle and Sport, and Jared got us taken care of. The employees at 701 are super knowledgeable and passionate about their work. They dont pressure you into anything. We did end up buying 2 bikes. Ive been back two times in the last week to pick up a few accessories and just to pick their brains about mountain biking. They are always so willing to spend as much time as you want talking shop. Well definitely be using 701 for all of our cycling needs in the future.

Bought a Specialized Rock Hopper here and had the drivetrain upgraded on the spot. Service is great here and staff is knowledgeable. Upgrade done in a timely manner and bike looks great!Selection is about as good as is gets given the pandemics hit to the biking world.. which means is lacking, hard. But like I said its about as good as it gets lol.

Went in having a basic understanding of what gear I needed for snowboarding. The team there was great with answering all of my questions. I left with a nice board for a beginner. The team there assembled everything for me, checking to make sure the setup felt comfortable before I left. I ended up spending a couple hundred dollars less here than I would have buying the exact same setup and boots online!

Awesome experience with 701 purchasing a couple bikes. I was able to get all my questions answered via Facebook which was convenient. During the purchasing process they noticed their sales site didn’t reflect a sale the bike company had going, so they made sure to adjust. After ordering online they quickly had the bikes ready for pickup and requested kickstands installed. And most importantly, the bikes are great! Already took them for a ride.

Im new to mountain biking and realized on my very first ride that I needed different biking clothes because what I had was causing some chaffing. I checked a few other places in town but didnt get much advice on what works well for women. Went to 701 and was helped immediately! Melissa was able to recommend shorts and liners based on her experience on the trail. It was a relief to talk to another woman about what works for women. The shorts and liners I bought that she recommended work great! Ill continue to go back based on my experience.

I went here to buy a snowboard, boots and bindings for my first snowboarding step. I had been snowboarding for a few years and was tired of renting. Both of the people that were working at the moment each helped me find everything that I needed. They not only helped me find what I asked for but also made sure I got the kind of board that best suited my riding style. Extremely helpful and friendly, very happy that I chose to shop local instead of a large retailer. If you need anything with Snowboarding/Skiing or biking then go here!

Had so many friends recommend them for their service and honesty. I went in to buy cross bars so I can carry my kayak. I knew what I needed and everyone I know that had a Ford Explorer said they will get me fitted. I went in and got the bars and foot pack, I asked three times if quick fit bracket was included and they said yes. I got home and there was no bracket. I called and the gentleman was nice and kind and said oh we don’t carry those but we can order it. I said need it Friday we are going camping and kayaking. He said yep no problem they will be in by Friday. I called Friday and he was like ohthey will be in next Tuesday. I said what happened with Friday being in. I was then given a very poor excuse why they did not order the the part I needed and said he said sorry we just ordered them today!So I returned 570 dollars worth product and now am looking for a shop small store to order from that is not only knowledgeable but honest!

I had just gotten my second bike fit done here, and it was perfect! I have always had a great experience and highly recommend 701 to everyone. Staff is great and the products are high quality.

The staff at 701 are very helpful providing information on either a purchase, without pushing a sale, or helping fix a problem. In addition to providing information about a bike they also have demo and rental bikes. The ride before you buy is great to ensure I was purchased the correct bike.

Stopped on our cross-country ride with a minor bike problem on a Friday and the mechanics checked it out immediately and talked with me about solutions. They were very helpful, did a quick-and-dirty repair on the broken plastic part on the shifter, checked the tire pressure and the gates belt tension, too. I was confident they knew what they were doing and my bike is good for another thousand miles. I really appreciated their gracious help.

Epic Sports rocks. Period.My friends and I were traveling to the Badlands from NJ for an Adventure Race last week, and we needed to ship our bikes somewhere so I called Dan at Epic. He was thrilled to help us out. Our bikes arrived a day before we did, and he held onto them until we got there. Then he let us use his workspace to assemble our rides. He was nice enough to hold onto our boxes for the weekend until we returned on Monday, when we disassembled and packed up our bikes to ship them back out.Dan was extremely generous and made traveling to North Dakota easy for these Jersey Boys. He and his staff were even genuinely interested in hearing all about our race. We bought some stuff from his awesome shop while we were there.. hes stocked with tons of very cool gear. You gotta check out Epic Sports.. its a sick shop by any towns standards, and a diamond in the rough in Bismarck to be sure.

I am working for a week in Bismarck so decided to rent a bike to ride in the evenings. The customer service (Brandy) was excellent. They fixed me up with an awesome mountain bike, gave me a lock and helmet to use and worked with my schedule on the rental time. The bike paths in Bismarck are great and the new north river path along the east side of the river is a special treat. I was here 2 years ago when the bike path at the south end of town was closed due to flooding. It was open this time and and was another special treat to ride. The bike that Epic Sports rented to me was solid with quality parts and I had no issues with it. I have rented a lot of bikes in other cities and I would have to say that this was the best bike rental experience that I have had - thanks to the customers service of Brandy and the guys that got the bike tuned and ready for me. Thanks Epic Sports for making my stay in Bismarck an awesome experience. !!!!!!! :)

I worked with Phillip he was an amazing person to work with. He help me get my bike fit perfect for me which is highly-rated for an person that is going to spend any time in the saddle. I would high recommend people there and will be going back for a lot of my bike needs.

Used to like this place. Not sure what happened. The last 4 times we have taken our bike in for service it has been terrible. Two times we had to bring it back because they didnt fix it right. They never call when it is done. This time we were told would take a week to fix the bike. Called after a week and they hadnt even started on it. Said we were still half way down the list. Not happy.

I have purchased all my bikes from here over the last 12 years and they have always taken good care of me.

I have shopped here several times in hopes that the customer service will improve. I have been continually disappointed. Salespeople are not responsive and keep you waiting. When someone does decide to help, I have been given bad advice and sold products that do not meet my needs. Would not recommend, take your money elsewhere.
