This was our first visit and we loved it! It is a family owned dinner. Everything is made from scratch! The Chicken Fried Steak and Hamburger Steak were excellent. The onion rings were hand dipped, not frozen and very yummy! Will definitely return to try other things!

I tried the beef strips basket. Reminds me of a chicken fried steak but the meat inside the strips was so tender and delicious, like your grandmas pot roast. My husband had the chicken strips basket, the chicken was delicious. Fries were fresh and crispy. My favorite thing was the handbattered onion rings. Thin sliced, crispy, salty and a touch of sweet from the onions. We will definitely be back. There was a line, and a bit of a wait but it was worth it. Portions were huge, great value for the price. Definitely recommend!

This place is very busy and for good reasoning. The food here is AMAZING!! They have Indian tacos that r out of this world! This was my 1st time going but there be plenty more times!

I had the chicken fried steak dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy & corn... it was pretty good. I have to RAVE about their onion rings... they are so fantastic. They are as good as the Cheddars onion rings of old. Its definitely casual dinning with home cooked meals. The burgers & fries are great. My dad had the Indian Taco & said it was great.

Just got a burger to-go but noticed they were packed--must be locally popular.

I could eat here every day of the week! We’ve never had a bad dish here and we go often with our large family. Wednesday night Indian Tacos are amazing as is Saturday’s special of chicken and dumplings. Be prepared to wait and call ahead if you plan to go Saturday as they regularly run out but they’ll set you some aside if you call. Same with the strawberry pie any day of the week.

This is the place to go for great service and by far a home cooked meal. The prices are very affordable and the serving size is really more then one person can eat. I have eaten there many times and will continue to go back. Never disappointed.

First time we ate here the food was so bland and soggy - chicken fried steak was not crisp at all and tasted like straight flour. I ended up just throwing it away. I ended up going back to try the burgers... How badly can you screw up burgers??? Well, aside from screwing up the entire order and using the wrong toppings on each burger, there was once again no seasoning. The fries were cold and soggy. No salt. Worst place Ive eaten out at in a very long time.

We have come here for years and enjoyed the best home cooking and homemade pies. The Johnsons are great, REAL FOLKS who always come out to visit their customers when they have time. Our visits are a little less frequent than they used to but only because of new.work schedules. Roast, ham, turkey dinners, Indian tacos, burgers, steak fingers, chicken strips, chicken and dumplings...the list goes on. This is the way family diners used to be. If youre in Bixby GO!

We LOVE this cafe. Excellent food, excellent service, excellent price. We are here at least a few times a month. Everything I’ve ordered has been yummy and the order ALWAYS comes out correct. Their wait staff are friendly and we never have an empty drink. Tuesday night specials are our favorite.

Awesome food in a downtown setting. Delicious burger and amazing onion rings. Perfect blend of Swiss and jalapeno. Definitively a place to go and frequent. Family owned and small town feel. Did not try the pie, because I couldnt because of very generous portion size, but they liked amazing. Friendly staff and clean facility.

Hometown goodness!!!! Try the onion rings, they are amazing! Met at Johnsons Stepping Stone with a few classmates, hat a great visit & a delicious meal. I had the Jumbo Cheeseburger special with the homemade onion rings & pink lemonade. The drinks are huge so I never had to ask for a refill & loved my yummy burger!!! I will definitely be back & be sending all my friends. Great place to eat!!!!

Good, popular place. Decent flavor, proper crust on burger.Customers are a bit daft... it benefits everyone in a small place like this to allow the people trying to leave to get out the door; don’t hold a conversation in the doorway... dumb okies.

They are closed Monday so they can prep their food, such as ground their own meat, make homemade pies, etc... the best part is they never disappoint. Their food is cooked fresh, and the quality is consistent. Also, you have to go in Wednesday for their Indian Taco. The best part is the price is reasonable. Family of four can eat without breaks g the bank.

Been going here for years! Wait staff and owners are friendly and many of them know the different things I order immediately when I walk in. Their food is always good and fresh as well as always having overly reasonable prices. This is the first suggestion I always make when anyone is wanting food in Bixby

Try it for yourself. Its amazing.I didnt say enough the first time. It is very cozy, most of the time you will have a wait on all you can eat day, and by wait I mean outside!! Trust me its worth the wait. Prices are outstanding and it is a throw back to the cafes in the good old days.

Very authentic Cafe. Best onion rings in the area. Fried steak sandwich was perfect. Portion size are generous. Service was great and they make you feel like friends and family. Highly recommend this cafe.

When the owner was young man, he worked at Colemans Drive-in in Okmulgee, OK. His recipes come from his experience there. Daily specials, fresh hamburger and hand made onion rings, fresh pies, chicken fried steak, excellent mashed potatoes, Indian taco, very reasonable...a must... stop and try it!! Im across the street. Come get a haircut after lunch. :)
