Ive always had great service here! Staffs always super nice and helpful. Great selection and nice variety!Side note: I am trans and today I came in and everyone gendered me correctly! I usually dont get too upset when people dont because its an easy mistake to make, but its always nice when people gender me correctly!P.S. Dont play Stairway to Heaven.

I went to this store with every intention of buying a guitar while visiting out of town. As I entered 2 employees seemed to have no intention on waiting on me. As I encountered them one reluctantly after a questioning look followed me to the guitars and blew me off as quick as he could. I only took it to heart when I turned to see the 2 helping the next 2 customers who entered with enthusiasm. Although there was a distinguishable difference between me and them, I refrain from putting a title on what happened. Very disappointed to say the least, but its Ohio....soooo.

Very knowledgeable staff. Got a great deal on my DJ equipment. The staff really went out of their way to be helpful. They gave me product recommendations even if the price was lower than what I had picked out. I got a free 2 year warranty on everything. Im very happy with my Guitar Center experience and will definitely be back!

GreT service and helpful guitar techs

I ordered a used synthesizer from this store and it arrived without the power supply that comes with it. Now I have to either spend more money to get one or spend money and time driving to a store near me to return the item. The sad thing is that this is probably the sixth used purchase that this has happened to me with from Guitar Center. I’ll be returning the item to my local store and informing the manager as to why I am doing it.

Good store, friendly staff. They seem to be low on stock since covid, but get better every time I visit. Check pricing online withe other music stores, sometimes they can be a bit overpriced.

Friendly, helpful staff. Post-covid, Im glad to see they are hanging on to their physical presence and not going online only. It was convenient to be able to pick up strings and picks for my daughter the same day. Inventory levels seemed low, but its understandable.

It was okay but the carpet was dirty and the place not well organized, how did this store not make on theist of stores shutting down

Sales associates were kinda rude. Had an issue with a guitar we were checking out and when we asked if there was a tech that could take a look at it, they just offered for us to put some money down and come back tomorrow. For being from over an hour away, that not only comes off as rude but also not convenient in the slightest.

Good guitars gooder prices

I came in to get pop filters for the mics I use while doing my podcasting. Ebony helped me out. I brought my mic and stand with me. We took the pop filter from the packaging to check if they set up okay with my desk top mic stands. Everything worked perfect. Thank you Ebony for the great customer service.

Overall its a good store, but watch what you purchase. Im stuck with an unplayable guitar that I bought from the boardman store because I bought it right before the covid shutdown. So $300 purchase down the toilet. Needless to say, I purchase all my stuff on musicians friend now

Really cool music store with a laid back atmosphere and a knowledgeable staff. Bought a Yamaha keyboard here for the whole family to use and we love it. Lots of instruments to choose from, sound and lighting equipment as well.

Good selection and priced Right. Great selection from beginner to professional level instruments. Staff seems to know what they are doing and a firm grasp of being able to pair you with the right. Products. Only down fall a little light on staff occasionally.

We like Guitar Center. The have a nice selection of guitars, basses, accessories/supplies, and amplifiers. They also have PA equipment, cords, microphones, speakers, stands, pianos, keyboards, drums, music. Sometimes, they even have ukuleles, banjos, and mandolins. The store carries both new and used equipment. The staff is not only helpful, but also quite knowledgeable about their products. Like a guitar and amp? Want to try them out? They will get you hooked up to play it in-store. Play the pianos or keyboards. Listen to the speakers and equipment. Enjoy the climate control guitar room to test out that guitar. Traded in my old gear and got a decent price for them (they have to make money on it) and walked a way with a nice, pleasant experience, guys knew what they were selling and why it was good

Guitar Center has never, ever failed me. They have everything I ever needed to live out my music dreams! They have an awesome inventory, good quality products and warranties which are very important to musicians or businessman/woman. They have great service & hospitality, their employees are really helpful & very enthusiastic! Never had a problem there! They have good prices on stuff, sometimes discounts on holidays, or for certain products and/or if you have coupons and ofcourse some things being on clearance. They have equipment, brands, products that Ive seen professionals with before. Even your favorite musician has probably shopped here once or twice!

This was literally the greatest store I have ever stepped foot in. So many different rooms, each designed for their own instrument and hardware. Acoustic is by far my favorite. If you havent been here yet, you need to go right now.

Really cool place. They have a little bit of everything... A real little bit. But they can order instruments that arent in the store and they have a very knowledgeable group of millennials working there.

I went into guitar center in Boardman today to pickup my layaway. I must say I am extremely impressed with the customer service I received. An employee noticed a nick in the neck of the gutiar while cleaning it up. They attempted to find another guitar to replace the one I had but did not have one in stock. I was purchasing a guitar sleeve for $20 and asked if they wanted to discount the sleeve for the nick in the guitar. To my surprise the manger gave me a FREE hard case instead! That was not necessary but was absolutely appreciated! Thank you for the great customer service!

Often times the workers pretend like they know what they are talking about in order to make the sale. Twice Ive gone in to get guitar strings and have it take them way too long to locate the strings I want, even when I point right to them.

A lot of people knock on Guitar Center for being the GameStop of music stores. But the staff at the Boardman location are always helpful. I try to stick to the local music shops but the location of this store is just far too convenient and they have most everything in store without having to order it.

This store needs to move into the old JoAnn fabrics space. They carry plenty keyboards, microphones, and headphones. They need more drum sets. I want to buy a brand new drum kit from them and not from another store in another state nor from another music store in Ohio.
