Great supermarket for anyone who love to buy high quality fresh food! Everytime i get here im getting from the butcher a picania, short ribs, Italian sausages, and duck breast. Also the sea food department is great! So many types of sea food from salmon, tuna steak and scallops. To crabs, lobsters and shrimps. They have it all and always Soo fresh and prices are also great. Uselly im spending here around $140 for a big amount of meat, fish and expensive cheese. If you like to buy cooked food. They also offer a catering with a big variety of dishes and specifically Italian cousin. Highly recommend!

Customer service is not what it used to be. Especially in the Deli section. Bakery too. Sometimes they have pleasant cashiers. Prices are decent and quality is ok

I enjoy shopping at Doris until I go to the prepared food section. There is one tall dark haired man that is always unpleasant. I dread having to order and unfortunately, the same unpleasant man waits on me. This time I had to ask him to help me. He was just standing around this time, doing nothing. Isnt it important that your staff be friendly?

Great food...clean ...but customer service skills lacking .management/owner does not instill professionalism. I heard employees raising their voice at customers. Sometimes I would hear cursing by employees.i never bring my children there...in the end I just I cant get myself to give them my business anymore.Too bad they have fresh products.Maybe one day they will change their culture with either new owners or management.

Fast and friendly service at the deli. Very tasty items. Theres a large selection of prepared dishes. Cashier was friendly and fast too. This is a great store, and has been here for years. They also have a lovely bakery and produce department. They sell just about everyhing. Parking can be challenging at certain times. A nice Italian market and bakery conveniently located.

Unfortunately, one bad apple can spoil the bunch. I love shopping at Doris in Boca but will never go back, thanks to Carol at the register. On 07/08 at around 2:30pm I checked out with Carol and she threw the receipt at me. I asked her why she had thrown it at me and her response was that she was busy talking to another employee that had walked up to her while checking out was in process. I had disregarded the fact that she seemed bothered when I asked for plasticware. Me-a black woman, Carol- a caucasian woman. I asked for the manager and Carol told me that the manager was outside gathering carts. Was I to go outside and figure out who the manager was? I spoke to the manager, Betsy, who didnt seem like she cared at all.Having just moved to the area, this is very distasteful.

Just bought 2 huge beautiful briskets with hardly any fat on the bottom. Beats Publix and Costco!!! Best briskets EVER!!! Can’t wait to cook them! Barbara Williams

Nice italian market but I am from NY and wish they had more true Italian deli meats available to order sandwiches etc from in the deli area.They have mostly boars head cold cuts. The bakery has good pastries and breads. Good selection of pastas and can tomatoes for making sauce.

Friends love this place and having been after me for a long time to check it out. I was in the area and stopped by to check it out yesterday. Its a nice little store with a lot of variety from nice looking fruits and veggies to a great meat case with friendly, helpful butchers. Everything is very clean. My issue is there are other places close to me that I can get the same thing or better. I know its not the stores issue- just a fact. I would stop if in the neighborhood. Otherwise, no.

I wish I had known about this market years ago! It has all the Italian goodies you could want. Meats, vegetables, pasta of all kinds, sauces, wines, and (yummmmm) a wonderful bakery. It is small but packed full of delightful Italian favorites -- and some things you might not know existed. And yes, it is clean, well organized and has really nice folks who work there. Try it!

First Italian bakery I have found since I have been in Florida. This is the 3rd town we have lived in since moving to Florida. The bakery has fantastic bread, cookies and cakes. The fresh meat department is the best I have ever seen. Weve only been here not quite 2 months, but Im sure well be here a lot. Highly recommend.

I had one of the most disappointing experiences I have ever encountered as a customer of a business whose management and staff prefer to stick to a policy that did not applied at the moment as I was the only customer in the bakery department but not only did the two women behind the counter ignored me because I did not have a number, they turned around and started to walk away, I called out to them, and again it seemed as though I was invisible to them, I ask d to speak to the store manager and that experience was even worse as all he kept on saying is that the staff is very young doesn’t know any better and for that reason they have been instructed that if you don’t have a number they don’t provide any services even if you are the only person waiting, there was no other response, it was like I was speaking to a robot, while I understand their policy, there is also common sense, and customer satisfaction, a simple response, like we are sorry this is our policy, please understand however what can I get for you?That would had been enough for me to have walked out a satisfied customer, instead I walked away after shopping there weekly for four years w one of the worst experiences I ever had in a food store before, and swore I would never ever go back there, and when I shared w a friend she said she had stopped going there because the staff was very rude, so it seems I was not the only one, I supposed that most people won’t say anything and just don’t go back, but I felt the need to share with the hopes that if anyone who cares reads this will care enough to take some corrective action, after all, Doris is not a place anyone will miss not going to, as we have many choices and service is number one for a business to sustain itself and grow, but maybe Doris staff doesn’t understand that “the customer is right, even when the customer is wrong”I will never shop in a place were I am not respected or valued as a customer.

I have been shopping here almost weekly since the store opened. The produce is fresh, lots of selection with fruit as well as the bakery, deli and meat department. My issue is with Gary in the meat department and I wouldnt comment but this is the second time he has done this. I was in last Thursday after work and picked up the last 2 filet mignon kabobs at $22.99 a pound. I returned this morning as I needed more for our barbecue and there were none. When I inquired Garys response was they didnt have any as the price had gone up to $40 a pound. I then looked at the filet mignon steaks and they were $29.99 a pound and I asked why the pricing difference and he told me there is a lot more labor with the kabobs yet I know the only vegetable they put on that skewer is a cherry tomato. I dont really think the butcher in the back is working up a sweat to make kabobs. I bought my filet steak and as I walked away I heard him commenting about my interaction with him and not favorably. It annoyed me because he used the same we dont have any because its $40 a pound the last time they were out of kabobs recently. If you don t have a product just say so instead of a ridiculous comment . Also if you are going to criticize your customers be bright enough to do it after they walk away and cant hear you.

Worst customer service in town, from the cashiers, to the bakery older lady, who uses her phone with the gloves she is serving people and leans on the trash can outside, again with gloves and it’s extremely rude!!! Wonder what has happened to her in life to be so bad with people! But I guess it’s okay to be rude as the manages is just as bad. I don’t care how good your products are but don’t have customer service, you don’t deserve my business!

Very nice market, great selection of meats, cheeses, pastries and fresh fruits and vegetables. Keep in mind this is a market not a full grocery store. If you are looking for paper towels and toilet cleaner, head over to Publix.

Good Italian oriented supermarket. Small but has mostly everything you need

I have been shopping at the Boca location for the last year and a half. About a week ago I was there and 4 employees behind the meat counter were not wearing masks. Two of them were the butchers handling the meats, one man was handling cartons of merchandise and one was helping customers with his mask below his mouth. This is the second visit I have had in this location where the employees behind the meat or fish counter were not wearing masks. When I got home I called and spoke to a very very rude manager by the name of Larry. He started lecturing me about mask wearing and said they were very careful and have had no cases of the virus and they knew what they were doing. I told him I would never come back there again and he said that was my choice and was absolutely nasty to me. I have told everyone I know in the area and they all have said they would never shop in any of their stores again. This is not how you deal with this virus and not how you treat your good customers.

All around the world foods available.Fresh.Baked,Pre-cooked meals,etc.Absoutely the best .U will not be disappointed.$$

A must go to destination for anything Italian. They have flours imported from Italy, pancetta, sfagliotelle (or as they are know lobster tails by carlos bakery), cannolis (chocolate or plain), a tons of pastry choices, wines, homemade soups, fresh pastas, pizza dough. You name it, if its Italian, its there. Considering the quality of pastries and that a lot of things are imported, the prices are good. Check it out!

I am a busy working mom and the Market is right on my way home. I love the pre-made meals - there are TONS of delicious, fresh choices for dinner or to stock the fridge for the week. My son would eat their lasagna, chicken parm, and mashed potatoes every day if I let him - delicious! Absolute best bakery in town!!

Went to Doris’s on Yamato ROAD for Christmas groceries. Have been impressed in past with everything so expect A1 with everything. Picked up large grapefruit for friend. Actually several. All turned out dry and mealy. Inedible. Just to let you know. Doesn’t fit Doris’s reputation. 😖

I have been shopping here since the day they opened. Sometimes I am there weekly but most times more than that. Overall I have been extremely satisfied with whatever I have purchased and I shop seafood, deli, produce, butcher, prepared foods, grocery and the bakery. For the most part employees are accommodating and pleasant but we can all have an off day. Sergio takes pride in his store and always thanks you for your loyalty. It is without reservation that I recommend Doris Market.

Busy place ....very unorganized bakery!!! Never saw so many people doing nothing!!! Don’t place an order and think you and go and just pick it up......you will wait just like everyone else......so I don’t understand why you need to order ahead of time..... ask the manger about it....was told to take a number.....horrible customer service.....manger short and bald....must be having a bad day......should be thankful people go there!!!Never again.!!! Too many other businesses could use the business!!!

Always shop at Doriss in Coral Springs, went to the one in Boca Raton yesterday, over bought in more then I need in dry pasta shells, never opened . Went to exchange and they refused to take it back. Asked for the manager, she wouldnt get the store manager. Bad business and attitude and over priced. Will never go back. Lost a costumer!

Doris Market has always been a great place to stop in whether to buy raw meat, seafood or cooked foods. They have a large array of cooked foods and baked goods, which are always good. You can even stop in for a sandwich, fruit or wine. Doris Market is a great addition to west Boca.

The staff kept things moving since there were only 10 people allowed in at one time. They were fully stocked except for paper goods. They are always helpful and friendly.

This grocery store may be smaller than the mega stores but it has a wide variety of quality food, wines, canned goods and baked goods. The produce is top notch. Its a great place to go for your daily needs.

I Have Been Shopping in Doris Italian Market & Bakery for Several Years Now. And, they Never Disappoint. They Always Have what I Initially Acquire for My Shopping Needs. If Im at the Deli, the Bakery, the Meat Counter or in Produce. I can Always find Something that Interests me. And, also the Workers Really go out of their Way. They do Such a Great job. They are all Very Friendly. And, the Food is Great Quality. They Have so much to Choose from. If you Have Never Been to Doris it is a Very Pleasant Experience.

The Yamato Road one has two cashiers working today at this establishment need to be retrained on customer service.They judge people based on the way they look and treat them unkindly on purpose. Humiliating people makes you uglier that anything else in the world.They should be coached or fired.This was my experience.Perhaps it’s the culture of this store.

Excellent bakery (best Italian bread and cookies). Excellent butcher (prime and wagyu available along with tomahawk rib eye). Excellent fresh fish (ask for Vince). Excellent wine selection. Produce that is farm fresh. Family owned and operated. Their pride in ownership is obvious throughout the store.

Great produce, fish and meats! And the best bakery around! Good wine selection. A bit pricey but worth the extra money. Very nice and helpful staff, especially in the bakery department.

Generally I am happy that they are around. The employees seem to have a bit of an attitude but it is a good place for fresh meats, fish, and produce. But, I just had a really BAD experience. They are pushing mealy, flavorless South Carolina peaches for the Georgia peaches listed in their weekly add. Displayed on top of some empty Lane Grove Georgia boxes are some peaches with little stickers that say Pats South Carolina. I asked a girl that seemed to be the produce manager where the Georgia peaches were located. I was emphatically told that the stickers mean nothing...the grower is based right on the border and goes both ways. Like an idiot I bought some of the lousy things. Stuff like that doesnt happen at The Boys nor at Josephs. I am glad we have choices in the area.

SO I ORDERED A PROSCIUTTO DI PARMA WITH ROASTED RED PEPPERSAND BALSAMIC VINEGAR.. I DIDNT CARE THE SANDWICH COST $18.00..... I DID CARE IT HAD BASIL AND CHEESE,. I TOLD THEM 3 TIMES NO CHEESE. CUT THE STORY SHORT.allergic)I SPEAK TO THIS WONDERFUL LADY.. SHE ASKED IF I HAD THE DELI TAG, YOU MEAN THE ONE THAT CUT IN HALF, NOPE. HOW ABOUT YOUR RECEIPT, I SAID NO. I NEVER TAKE IT......I HAVE BEEN GOING HEREFOR YEARS.... NOT ANY MORE. WILL NEVER RETURN.... NOR TELL ANYONE TO GO THERE.

I buy a good part of my groceries there every week. The fish counter is very good and fresh. I can always find fresh artichokes and fresh basil in the produce department.

We are visiting from Michigan and love to shop here for our celebration with family. The pastries, prepared meals, meats/fish, and wine selections are superb. Also the produce is abundant and fresh. The atmosphere and staff are pleasant. I highly recommend Doris.

The vegetables are fresh

Went to Doris’ today for cold cuts. Counter man had an attitude, but it was father’s day and may be was unhappy because he had to work, so I overlooked it. Ordered 1/2 lb. turkey. He picked up the turkey walked toward slicer and drop the turkey on the floor. I started to walk closer to where the slicer was expecting him to throw away the turkey when I watched him put it on the slicer and proceed to slice it. I loudly called to him not once but three times before he turned around and said, why are you slicing that, it needs to be thrown out. His response, I am throwing it out. I said why then did you contaminate the slicer with the turkey from the floor and start to slice it. His response, I will get you a fresh one. To slice on a dirty machine, no thanks. He then put the turkey on the counter and not in the trash. So he has now cross-contaminated the slicer and the counter where food is placed. It did not look like this was his first rodeo. Spoke with Larry the manager. But walked out sick to my stomach, back to Publix for me. People wonder why food borne issue are rampant and Hep A is spreading.

I bought a wagyu steak there yesterday took it home cooked it and it was inedible. Took it back to the store manager refunded my money but told me that the head guy in the back in the meat department checked it out and said it was fine I looked at his case and he still had the same steaks that that came from they sell rancid meat there be careful. All the manager had to do was man up and say I yes the meat was bad and take the rest out of the case but no he insisted it was fine which makes him a liar

This is a nice, local Italian supermarket with good meats, fish, produce and prepared foods. It is not a gourmet market, but there are a variety of gems to be found including lots of seasonings and a small bakery. I just bought a trout for about $5 that was so fresh that it was perfect when I sauteed it in olive oil at home. They also have a nice, small selection of homemade pasta sauces, soups and fresh pasta. They offer some prime steaks here too. When it comes to fish, make sure that it is fresh. Lately I have seen a lot of fresh rainbow trout and large whole Bronzino. I ask them to cut the head and tail off the cleaned Bronzino and to butterfly it, but some people prefer that it be filleted. All in all, this is a good place to shop.

Outstanding neighborhood Italian grocery store. Their seafood, meat, prepared foods and bakery sections are as nice as fresh market or whole foods. Same goes for their produce, though the selection is smaller in produce the quality is very good.
