Helen is very special. She listens well to the customer and quickly and accurately responds with choices which fit the bill. We spent time over two days and accomplished more than we expected. Zero stars!! I came in twice and both times was told the same price. When it came time to checkout, price all of sudden was $300 more even when the display fan had a price tag showing the lower price! Even the website had the lower price !!Then they tried to sell me the display fan still at higher price than price tag!One would think the sales people would know their products but they clearly do not!I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!!

We had ordered light for our home, to be shipped october 4th, paid in full 3 month ago. Today october 6th we get a call that WE! Had canceled our order!! After they had our money all these months why would we do that?? Now off course no refunds yet and no answer to our calls! And this is delaying our entire home project.

Barry P is a very good sales person and excellent at what he does. He took his time and very patient and resourceful. He took the time to assist me on all my needs for my new townhome. The store also has beautiful pieces and showcases great looking lighting.

We ordered a light fixture on February 24 and the in-store experience was very good. The sales professional said that it would be shipped on March 1 with delivery on March 2 which we wanted as there would be an electrician at our home on that day to install it. On March 1 we received a shipping notice that it would now be delivered on March 4. By March 6, it still was not delivered and I called the sales professional twice to see what she could do to help us get a true update. She did not have the courtesy to ever call us back. It was finally delivered today, March 8, by the trucking company.

Great selection. Better terms than we found elsewhere. We shopped and shopped prior to going to Capitol. We bought at Capitol because it was the better solution.

We have been helped by Barry Pokrifcsak and he is extremely helpful to us, he does not rush us and have infinite patience to go over product specifications and finding the right lighting products for various areas of our our new house.

Disappointed. Drove from West Palm only to find they were doing inventory and had closed early when they said they were open until 5. Went elsewhere.

Purchased a light online, opened the box when it arrived and inspected it. Everything looked great. 2 months later the electrician hung it, only to discover the details on the website were not accurate. The fixture is 5 inches taller than the website says and will no longer work on 10 ceilings even with all the hanging chain links removed. They said it was 41 but clearly its 46 Their visualize tool also doesnt reflect this as evident in the attached photo of what it should look like. Contacted the company only to be told that since we installed the fixture they will not refund. I only discovered THEIR error because the electrician installed it and it hit him in the head. I am a general contractor and will never purchase lighting this way again. The fixture was $1,000.

We highly recommend Capital Lighting in Boca and Marc Hollander who was knowledgeable, professional and patient. My wife and I recently went to Capital Lighting in Boca to look for new light fixtures for our house that is being renovated. We were impressed with the selection, especially after being disappointed in a number of other stores.Marc Hollander was excellent to work with and was very patient with my wife and I as we tried to decide on which lights to purchase. We ordered some fixtures and will be going back to order the rest. We also plan to replace the outdoor lights and will definitely go back to see Mr. Hollander.

I loved the display room, they have really nice fixtures and ceiling fans, very good quality, the only thing is the price, but you do get what you pay for, good quality and friendly staff, definitely recommend it over home depot or Loews.

Spent quite a few hours shopping for lighting, for a new house and would highly recommend Capitol Lighting. The staff was amazing.

We bought a beautiful chandelier at Capitol Boca Raton. We had it installed and three weeks later it failed to work. We call Capitol Lighting. They immediately had the chandelier replaced by the manufacturer and sent one of their people to reinstall. The service was exemplary. The chandelier is beautiful and we trust that Capitol Lighting will always take care of us. They have our business forever.

This store has an amazing selection of lamps.

I had to make a return of a light fixture that I bought almost a year ago because as it was an outside fixture, it got water inside and it ruined all the electrical parts. This store took it back, had it evaluated, and even called me back twice to tell me what was wrong and then to tell me theyd be sending me a new one. The employee, Carla, was most helpful, courteous, and very efficient.

There was a greeter who met me at the front door introduced herself and acquired a representative named Debbie who assisted me with my lighting fixture for my kitchen area.. Debbie showed me an assortment of beautiful lighting fixtures that I think would do well and coordinate with my dining room fixture that I purchased elsewhere. This store comparatively had very innovative and unique lighting fixtures for anyones particular taste. The prices range from very affordable to more costly and thats indicative of the details and pricing appropriately.

There is no better selection that I have been able to find. I needed a very specific exterior flush mount light option within a certain size range and they had it! Very nice staff as well.

I don’t have enough positive adjectives to describe my experience with Beverly Joi and Capitol Lighting. I ordered natural stone pendant lights. Beverly was so easy to work with and had the patience of a saint. She really helped me decide on color and style. Thank you Beverly for a wonderful experience and will see me again because I am now a lifetime customer! Also... the prices are very reasonable and you can great deals there. 😀

There are so many fixtures to choose from but once youve been to this store and then to others that are similar, they all carry about the same styles with a few exceptions. We have a very personable and helpful sales person named Beverley. She really knows her stuff. Though ultimately Beverley couldnt help us she certainly tried. Beware going on Sundays. Its a mad house; the stores busiest day. Who would have thunk??? Customers are not always thoughtful and polite and some sales people seem oblivious to others when she/he are in the throws of making a sale.

Left after standing around for over 15min waiting for someone to help. We asked twice for help nobody seemed to care.

Ive wandered into Capitol Lighting on a number of occasions, but this day I was on a mission. I had to get lighting for a renovation. I had gone to a competitor down the street and felt ignored by the salesperson who quickly accosted me, then told me she was really too busy and I should look on my own, but come back to her when I found what I liked.When I came into Capitol Lighting that day, the manager assigned me to Beverly. Shes incredibly energetic and creative. She wanted to know what I needed, the type of room it would be in, and what my taste was. We started around the store to look at inventory so that she could get an idea of what I liked. Then she went to work... sending me all sorts of options. This was not a big sale for her, but she made sure that I got her full attention as well as the best possible price.Since then, I immediately just call Beverly when I have another lighting need. I dont even have to go into the store. She goes to work and keeps sending me choices until I make a decision. I usually get my selections within a week - shipped right to my home. I cant say enough good things about her. Its clear she cares for me as a person. Im not just another sale to check off and then move on. I highly recommend Beverly and Capitol Lighting.

We bought 3 ceiling lights of which we carried home and the third had to be ordered. The two boxes given to use had missing parts and one had been an open box returned by somebody else. We were never told we were buying a used one with not even a manual in the box. We returned the two and now have to wait now to see if the third gets reimbursed because it just shipped and now we have to get that one back to the store at some point after it arrives in order to get the credit.. We could not wait and bought the same ones elsewhere in unopened boxes...A bad experience on a $400+ order.

Capital Lighting is ideal and as brilliant as their lighting. Their prices are better than online and you actually get to see your lighting in person instead of ordering online and hoping it looks like the photos. The staff is super helpful and totally trustworthy as we were referred to Capital by several designers and businesses. Smart customer service and smart business. It’s a win win for everyone.

I had bought a fan there last year. I wanted the same one now. I easily accomplished his on the phone The salesperson was helpful. He looked up what I had bought and gave it to me for the same price as last year, It is being shipped. Very easy to do

Purchased two bathroom light fixtures from Capitol Lighting less than three years ago. These lights are rusting all long the outside and internal parts.Called Capitol Lighting and talked to the customer service manager, his offer was to give me a 20% discount on future purchases thats what they offer to any customer, big deal! Stated that the manufacture warranty is only one year. I told him that Capitol Lighting should stand behind the products that they sell, his response was thats the best he would do.These lights are Chinese junk that Capitol Lighting sellsHad the three bathroom in our house redone three years ago, the fixtures that were replaced where more than 20 years old and in better condition after 20 years than these fixtures of three years.Will leave you with this last thought, If you dont take care of your customers, SOMEONE else will.My recommendation, make your lighting purchases some where else!EDIT REVIEW:Mr. Jonathon Rice, Store Manager took control of this situation and corrected the misunderstanding that I had with the sales associate,replaced the two lights with a better brand with a very generous discount. I called in a few times for a update on the light fixtures I ordered that have not arrived on given date. It’s been 3 weeks since I called and spoke to 2 different associates. Both said they will look in to it and get back to me ASAP. 3 weeks later, Still no call back. This company has the worst customer service ever.

We order 2 outside coach lights from the Boca location for our home and loved them so much we ordered 2 more for out patio. Our salesman was very help full and did everything by phone.

My wife and I were looking for a floor lamp to match our new living room leather sectional. We had been to quite a few places and also shopped on line with no luck. We decided to visit the Boca Raton Capital Lighting at the suggestion of a Macys Furniture Gallery associate where we purchased the leather sectional. So we stopped in and spoke to Anthony who helped us with a very nice floor lamp that was a perfect match. Took the lamp home and while unpacking it and setting it up, we found that the lamp wobbled. No matter how hard we tried to tighten the nuts that holds the stem to the base, we could not stop it from wobbling. I called Anthony and shared my issue, he quickly informed us that we can take the lamps back. We had about 40 minutes before the store closed, so we rushed back to the store and arrived with about 10 minutes to spare. Anthony was waiting for us with a new lamp in hand. AN easy exchange and back home to place the lamp at its current location. We loved the service and the quick response to our problem. Capitol Lighting definitely showed us that they take customer service very serious and stand by the products they sell. Definitely a class business and would recommend them to anyone looking for lighting.

The salesrep was very professional with me in my search in finding a chandelier that would compliment my home decor. After perusing the store w/o ongoing assistance, I was able to find a few chandeliers in which I liked. So, I graciously returned to the rep for additional assistance and she helped me narrow my search.Thanks to the sales rep, I choose the chandelier that first caught my eye. After the rep printed a few of our photo selections, she helped me realize that this chandelier was evidently the one for me. I had broken a glass on one of three fixture I purchased at Capital on Federal in Boca, 8 yrs ago - I asked Mike, the original salesman, if he could get another glass for me - he researched the manufacturers, found the replacement glass and ordered it for me!!Since I have a few of these fixtures in the same room and they needed to match he saved me quite a few dollars - he could have just as easily told me the glass was not available and sold me a few new fixtures -- thats what I call going the extra yard for the customer and great customer service Thanks Mike - Bob McCarthy Boca Raton

Very friendly service...lots of products to choose from. Went in to purchase extra chain for a chandelier that wasn’t purchased here....they found a match for me and then didn’t even charge me for the 5 ft of chain. Thank you for so much...the chain was perfect and my fixture is now hanging. Would highly recommend for any lighting needs. Will be returning to shop for our community lighting project in the near future.
