Celene was a joy and is running this place like a dream. She is very sweet and helped us out with what we needed and even said she would sort out an issue we had with an employee of hers who was very rude to us before. She deserves a raise. We were anxious to go back to this location after being treated poorly by the other employee but she came through in every way possible and was very pleasant. Thank you foe going above and beyond for us Celene, I hope you get to read this and are praised for your work.
We had a great experience at this Bolingbrook location. Jennifer and Amanda were super helpful and explained to us their promos going on along with how they can price match. We purchased new glasses and contacts from them. They went above and beyond to make our experience great! My husband and I will definitely be back! Thank you!
I spend hundreds of dollars on this company throughout the years. I call and say Im almost out of contacts, and I ask if I can just have an extra pair to last me until I purchase more. They refuse. I say their competitors have provided this courtesy to me several times before. They cannot even tell me if they have my prescription in stock. This company just lost hundreds of dollars of my business because they are too cheap to give me just one pair of contacts. This management needs a make over.And the staff are rude too. The optometrist is checking her watch during my appointment and the front desk woman was very rough. On that visit, I took my prescription somewhere else entirely.Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.
I came to this vision center as it was in my insurance network. I will never go back. I brought three daughters in, 1 for contacts and two for glasses. The price for 1 pair of glasses originally was over $800 with insurance. I almost choked. Then they explained what I was getting, the doctor recommends a higher lens for optimal vision, etc. I told them to give me the basic, classic everything and after two or three additional removals of extra that they tried to stick me with I paid $30 after insurance! My other daughter had to be fitted for contacts, Ive worn contacts my whole life and never had that type of fee and the optometrist that is not in my network doesnt charge it. They told me contacts would be $550 for the year, I said I wanted only 3 months, they put order in for the whole year and had to redo it. Last daughter went in by herself, a 19 year old college student. I told before she went in they will try to upsell you, tell them no, just basic everything.Again, $220 after insurance and me having to call to make sure she wasnt getting upsold. Told again doctor recommends....so if you dont want the optimal vision then we can do the plastic lens. So ludicrous that they take advantage of people like this. Will never go back. Horrible staff, horrible experience, worst kind of predatory selling.

Incompetent staff. Tried to buy a 1 year supply of contacts. They charged $290 for the contacts. They said my insurance would only pay $30 of that. My insurance pays $200. They tried to charge me $260 for the contacts. Went to Costco. Their price for the exact same contacts was only $230 and they had no problem getting the $200 insurance benefit applied. Out the door at Costco in 5 minutes! Never going back to For Eyes.
Ive been going here for a few years with no problems. Today I arrived for my eye exam, but the eye doctor never showed!
My family has gone to this location for years. I think they have new owners and for sure all staff are new since I was last here. I had an appointment but wasnt seen for 40 minutes, with no one else in the store! At first they couldnt find my file. Finally the eye doctor came out and looked at the files that were sitting at the desk for those with appointments. Guess what? My file was there. Because I had an appointment. Inexplicably it took another 15 minutes after that before I was called back. Unbelievable I dont think Ill be back.
I was assisted by the optician Tori and the great assistants Kim and Amiah. This group delivered exceptional customer service and service. This is a bit far from my home, but I will travel for the best service. Kim and Amiah were very knowledgeable about frames and insurance co benefits. And Tori was knowledgeable about the health of your eyes and exam. I would highly recommend this location as one of the best.I have visited other For Eyes, and would never go back. However the Bolingbrook location is by far the best For Eyes in IL!
2nd year at this place, worst idea ever to go back again. 1st year they only messed up the prescription once, (I get both contacts, and glasses done) I let that one go. THIS YEAR, I went in again for eye exam (contacts/glasses). They messed up for the fourth time now. I will NEVER go back again, of course until after they get my prescription right, I mean, I dont have a choice since I get one exam and discounts yearly based on my insurance, so I am basically STUCK. Again, its been since JULY, and it is now OCTOBER and they are still managing to screw it up. Im the one wasting $200+ on these eye doctors. Ive seen both doctors here, they both are getting my prescription wrong. I now hate walking into this place knowing that they will mess it up again. Im going to contact someone higher up to see what they can do, so I dont ever have to walk into this place again. Highly disappointed, extremely frustrated, and not recommending this place what so ever to anyone.
Ive been taking my family of 6 here for years and years. Dr. Grimwood takes amazing care of us, and so does the rest of the team. My husband and I both wear contacts and glasses and weve always been so pleased with our experiences here. I recently ordered new glasses that just werent fitting well - I called to ask about options and they asked me to come in. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes and now my glasses are 100% perfect. In a sea of corporate owned, homogeneous shopping experiences, For Eyes Bolingbrook stands out for their dedication to customer service and a great experience.
After Dr. Grimwood left this place has never been the same. The employees are not helpful, quite rude at points, and the new doctor doesnt listen to your feedback. Ive went through 2 prescription changes so far, and ordered glasses that turned out to be fishbowl. Now I have to order new glasses from another store. There is also no convenient way in getting your eye prescription - they can only fax it to you when the doctor is in. And the doctor is not in on Sundays. Staff turnover and service is terrible.

This have to be the worst for eyes I have ever been too my family and I went here like a week ago and the manager of this location is by far the worst manager ever!!!! I believe her name is Meesha if I could give this location a negative 10 trust me I would.When we called the store the manager answered the phone and all you Hear is her talking rude to people in the store and then once I said hello she replied what did you say ? I got so mad I then hang the phone and didn’t even want to schedule an appointment for myself or my family. My husband convince me to go up there anyway to look at the Frames and once I was looking at the frames all I could hear was yelling and being completely rude to her assistant manager. And she said something like why didn’t you do this like I asked you to the other day to the girl that sits next to her. I felt so bad so I turn my head to look and see because I was so shocked to hear someone speak to another human in that way then the manager Meesha rolled her eyes at me and said what the hell she looking at under her breath talking to another employee. I’m not sure who is over this woman but she definitely can use some talking to! Because this and more things I seen at this location I will NEVER BE BACK OR PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM HERE. My husband and i was so happy it was another For eyes 20 mins from here in Naperville.
Dont trust your money here. Ive been going here for years, over ten years. Recently the staff has become terrible. If you call and ask to see a specific doctor, theyll accidently schedule your appointment with the wrong doctor. They over charged my mom last time I ordered contacts, and this time after I specifically asked for 6-month supply of contacts, they gave me a 3-month supply. No big deal, right? Nope. I was headed to college the next day for *ahem* six months. They didnt tell me they could ship the contact lenses to me for free until I complained. It shouldnt be that hard to enter information into a computer.
After spending a long time getting examined and getting the glasses done, they came back totally wrong. Although I got a refund on the glasses, the doctor was very stubborn and refused to refund me for a service I didnt use.I have heard bad recommendations about this place from reissues, but I went ahead with them because of coincidence of the location. Dont make the same mistake!
Took my daughter for a 12:20 appt. Got there at 12:05. Had all the paper work filled out, sat patiently...a woman walked in and said she was there to get her contacts checked. She got called back about 12:15. Finally, I went up to the desk and asked what time my daughters appt. was and the told 12:20 and that the dr. was running behind. I said well that other woman walked right in and was actually taken right back. I was told that woman has a later appt. Ok..so why is she taken back and I am still waiting. She told me, well the dr. has the charts and he takes who he wants. I said really, well I work in a drs. office and this is not professional. My husband and I were there a few months ago, all was good..but took my daughter and terrible, will not be back.
Groupon helped bring the price down but only if u plan on getting the toughlites package. Eye doctor is very good sweet and polite.
Customer service even know they made us wait 12 hours for it
