Was turned away because I am beginning shooter with my friend. Ive been to many other ranges and have never been turned away because I am a beginner I had proper identification I safely transport my firearm with accordance to the law. I always follow safety rules guidelines.Beginners need practice too. Thanks for nothing Ill take my business to elsewhere.

Ive taken a beginners course, a private lesson(both with Connie) and just completed my CCL(with Kevin) at the range and they are THE nicest people you will ever meet. The range is always clean, they answer any and all questions without making you feel intimated or that your question isnt a good one. I participated in the Gun Range and a Class. I can honestly say I had a very positive and excellent experience at The Range At 355. Everyone I spoke with including the owner were very nice and helpful.The Owner assisted me with selecting the correct equipment for my use, while I was explaining to the Sales Representative what it was needed for, and the Owner was doing his inventory and overheard the conversation and he informed the Representative not to use the one the Representative was going to use, but for the Representative to check inventory in the back to see if another type was available before I purchase the one on the shelf. My Instructor Connie was very courteous, patient, kind, and respectful. Connie greeted all of us every morning from beginning until the end of our classes. She instructed the Class like the Professional Trainer that she is. We may have tested her skills, but she is a Professional Trainer and Instructor. The Facility was clean, the break room area for coffee and eating or just to relax, including the restrooms. I will be returning for my follow-up Classes. Overall the Greatest Range At 355 I have been to. Please keep up the great work, and hospitality. MM

The Range at 355 is very clean, modern and upheld all the necessary safety precautions. I took the 2 day CCL class with Connie, very knowledgable instructor. Connie instructed you on all the essential skills needed to protect yourself and others. I highly recommend their CCL classes. I highly recommend their gun range. I plan on signing up for more instructional classes to enhance my skill as a responsible gun owner.

My experience with this place is extremely poor. If I could rate less than 0 I would. The management team are so incredibly far from professional and ethical. Their communication with customers are absolutely based on how they look. My advice, find a different place to spend your money. Remember, your dignity and respect matter. Also, I spent a good time analyzing the reviews after my poor experience there and it clearly indicates that the staff are rude and have a discriminatory issues.

Today was my first visit and I was very impressed. I was helped by a young lady named Candy and she was very good at customer service. I wanted to take a basic handgun safety class and she got me signed up for that. Then I wanted to look at 9mm handguns and she showed me quite a few to choose from, both new and used. I picked one to purchase and she helped me with the paperwork and quickly completed my purchase.Candy, thank you so much for the great service and for your patience with all my questions. I will definitely be coming in for some range time soon.

From what I saw, the prices were reasonable given the rise in prices everywhere. The staff was helpful and patient when it came to deciding what Id like to purchase. Havent used their range yet, but the 5 stars goes towards their customer service.

Highly recommend taking your CCL Class at this location. I enjoyed being Connie’s as she made the 16 hour course (I only took 8 hrs) feel like 1 hour. I enjoy being her student and can’t wait to learn more from the staff at this range.

A Very clean and well-maintained range. They have consistently polite staff and an excellent air filtration system in the lanes. The check in process is straightforward and reasonable. However, customer service is why I will return to this location. I highly recommend this over the other local ranges for that reason alone.

I took my CCL class here and they were very professional, and really informative. The staff made me feel confident, safe and well versed in the safety of firearms. I look forward to going to the range at 355 again soon.

Worst range I’ve ever been to. Nice inside lobby but range is sweltering hot. Came with my own ammo. I wanted to shoot my 9mm pistol, .22lr rifle, and rent a 5.56. You’re only allowed to shoot their ammo… period.the max they would sell me is two boxes of 5.56. So a little over one magazine. And two boxes of 9mm. Charged $144 total for one hour. Avoid like the plague.

Took the concealed carry class last weekend with their instructor Connie. She was very informative and made the class enjoyable. The store is very clean and all of the staff were friendly.

Great experience, without the stereotypical gun shop employee attitude. Pricing is very good too. Took in my son and wife and made purchases with the help and insight of multiple staff and further, they got me up to date with my old knowledge. Couldnt recommend more.

Nice and clean range like no others I have found in the area or frankly anywhere. They have state-of-the-art lanes for drills if your interested in training.

You can’t buy regular 38 spl range ammo unless you have a membership, which the cheapest one was either $200 or $300 lolAlso, the guy who was working on the actual range felt like he was breathing down our necks, whether that be standing right behind us or pushing the bullets on the floor with the broom (was doing this with everyone around us)Lastly, not sure if this is a thing at all other gun ranges, but there is no A/C on the gun range itself. Like a sauna in there!

Was my first time going here and upon walking in not one staff member acknowledged me so i walked around aimlessly for a little which was awkward then I went up to a staff member and told him it was my first time there and wasnt sure of the procedure. He seemed hesitant to even talk to me and proceeded to explain rudely to me that my friend he could not shoot even though I was a card holder which did not make sense because i had read there website rules beforehand. First and last time there, everyone seemed very buddy buddy and not accepting of new shooters

The front desk put my wrong phone number and I never received my confirmation text. After I back to the store, they told me all the rang were closed. The manager only gave apologies with the attitude None of my business .

I took a CCL class here and the staff was wonderful and very friendly. The instructor Pat is very knowledgeable and makes the class very engaging. I highly recommend taking one of his training courses. The rest of the staff was very informative and polite. I asked them a few questions and they did not mind taking the time to give me their honest opinions about certain products. I recommend this range to anyone looking for a place where the staff has years of experience with firearms, gun safety, law enforcement and that offers various training classes including First Aid and CPR.

Range 355 is a modern clean facility. The staff are very helpful. I did the 2 day CCL course with an awesome instructor Connie!! Definitely recommend taking her class offerings. All the instructors there are amazing.

Very uninviting, dry demeanor, didn’t make clear of any instructions, one word answers, barely wanted to say anything it seems. one person signs me up ready to pay, the another person comes whispering to the guy telling him different and she was way in the front of the store. I was very excited all day to practice, and purchase my new weapon of choice, then I left feeling a lil down because of the way they made me feel in there. If they didn’t want to except us in there, they won, I will never step foot in that place again. I will not patronize that type of behavior. The whole staff needs Diversity training. Really bad, it was very apparent, or maybe not, stay stuck, and good luck with that. If they was a way I could give 0 star that’s what they would definitely get. Also I would like to add, they didn’t have a great selection to rent even, so my adrenaline to practice with my potential suddenly stop anyways. I just went to a range last night, and it was enjoyable, staff were very informative, and helpful. Do not go there. They are not friendly people, not one smiles, just dry, and they don’t have a big selection,of guns, you definitely want to go somewhere else. Horrible Buiness‼️

My husband and I took the CCL class with Pat ONeil and he made the class fun and exciting. By far the best experience we both had. We meet great people, had plenty of opportunity to shoot and get practice. Overall, I would suggest everyone to take the class with Pat.

Had a lesson with Kevin today (9/3/20) and I couldnt be happier with the level of instruction he provided. He adapted what he was teaching based on my level of skill (new shooter) and personal needs. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for a lesson and will definitely go back.

I took the womens only CCL class here...highly recommend. Very educational on every front, Connie the instructor was great, very patient and knowledgeable. MOST of the staff in the shop were patient and helpful. Lots of continuing training options too!

Visited 355 this weekend for my birthday with a small group of 4 (including myself). We were all excited to hang out together and shoot some lead. When we first arrived everything went smoothly as one could hope checking in. The issues only started when a new range officer came into our range, at first there was a latino man when we were setting up and getting ready. He was helpful when we were having issues with the touch screen to turn on and function but he was attentive and helped us out. The first firearm I used was a Kel tec plr 16 that I have a sling on, which I used. The 1st range officer from earlier came by when I started firing I guess he was curious what I was firing but he didnt say a word and just for context I had the target at 30yrds and had my sling on. Like I said, not a word was said. So you know we just keep on with our business enjoying ourselves and then a new range officer shows up. Now is where the problems begin, I start using my AR-15 target is at 30yrds still. Range officer comes up to me and tells me long barrels need to be used at 50yrds which I had no issue with, so I said ok Im sorry I didnt know that. After that I went back to my Kel Tec and again I used my sling. Well here comes the range officer again telling me I cant use the sling I was confused at first because the other guy saw me do the same thing and now Im being told I cant do that. Remind you this is my birthday weekend I dont want any issues at all so I told him again sorry I didnt know, wont happen again. It was at this time when I started feeling uncomfortable. Any who I now want to get some practice in with my 12ga mossberg 88 obviously if anyone has shot a 12ga you know there is a hell of a lot of recoil. So I set up my target at 50 yards aim at center mass but oh here comes the recoil after a few rounds my shoulder is feeling those rounds apparently I shot a little to high and shoot the metal piece that holds the cardboard and target. Chipped off a little paint off the metal but other than that no real damage was there except the cardboard. So here comes the range officer at this point I had no idea about what I had done wrong, but thankfully he was there to point out all my wrong doings every time. He says to me NO HEAD SHOTS! Next time you guys do that youre outta here! At this point I was frustrated because I had no intentions on doing a head shot with a shotgun nor did I even think of damaging anything other than the target. I told him very nicely sir that was a mistake the recoil caused the barrel to go higher than I intended. He didnt respond, his body language was just aggressive and just made me and my family/friends feel unwelcomed. We still had lots of ammo and actually planned on buying more and renting some firearms but after that experience we just wanted to leave because we felt we were just being targeted. So in summary just be prepared to constantly be hassled especially if youre on the younger side and minority side.

First visit. Clean range good vent system been to some other local ranges that you really taste the gunpowder in the air after shooting even shot some cheap rather dirty slugs that produced a decent amount of smoke and it cleared it right away. Lady working in the range when I visited seemed nice and concerned with safety. Staff seemed professional from who I dealt with. Will probably come shoot here again once folks stop panic buying all the shotgun ammo and prices come back down.

Attended 2 day CCW course work and am pleased with the engagement and flow of the class. Instructor was informative and drew off of real world experience as a former ISP officer. Highly recommended course and will engage in future training and skill advancement classes.

Was exited to go to this place as I heard that the range was excellent. The check in to use the range went good, but the range officer is constantly looking over your shoulder trying to look for anything and everything that you might be doing, we were able to shoot but did not feel comfortable and relaxed shooting. I do understand safety but shooting there made me feel like a baby.

Great range with plenty of options of rentals. A nice spot to hone your accuracy. Fair warning - you must bring a buddy in order to rent their firearms.

Recently took the womens only CCL 2 day class and I actually gained so much info on not only using your gun but most of all when or if to use your gun. The instructor Connie was amazing and relatable but when Pat came into the class to briefly talk to us it brought more humor and relatable experiences. I Also learned how important and necessary the range is.

I was denied to rent a gun and shoot down range. I’ve never heard of the suicide policy but to me it sounded pretty discriminatory. No other information besides the clerk telling me that. I called the night before and was told otherwise meaning I could’ve rented and shot down range.

It was recommended i go here to have a finicky gun reassembled. The sales associates were polite and extremely knowledgeable. I had tried 3 previous places and no one could seem to get this back together. It was a busy day, but they took the time to help me and were able to complete the task in under 1 minute. This will be my go-to from now on. A+

The guys at The Range At 355 are really great. Super helpful, jovial guys. They know guns and they know how to treat a customer. I didnt end up buying a gun this time, but they helped me a whole bunch with sending my benchmade back for service and didnt complain when I wanted to put my hands on a few handguns. I know Ill be back soon.

Heard good reviews of this Range and finally decided to take the trip. Went there to get some range time in. Everyone there was nice and helpful. Mark helped with showing my lane and how to specifically use it. An amazing and wonderful employee they have there. Thank you Mark once again really appreciate it! He is the go-to man!! Crazy manager never come back

Very disappointed! Was a customer - no more! Bought 2 Groupon for concealed carry class however - the classes were always full. Spoke to 355 employee weeks ago who said he would get us signed up in October but called today and guess what - October classes full. Offered a refund of Groupon to be partial payment for full price class. In my opinion - seems like a bait and switch!

I attended the 8-hour Concealed Carry Foundational Skills - I Have My CCL - What Now class taught by Larry. I was absolutely blown away by the practical hands-on training and Larrys knowledge and technical expertise. I must first state that when I arrived to class I was somewhat uncomfortable drawing a loaded firearm. However, Larrys Building Blocks approach to training and logical approach had me leaving with full confidence and know how that I didnt have at the start of class. In addition to the efficient use of range time, we took turns practicing how to manage unknown contacts. In fact, I just attended the Managing Unknown Contacts class the day before. In the version of the content in this class included the Trainees performing Role-Playing Exercises. I cant say enough about the training and The Range At 355 in general. I had a holster and a magazine holder that failed during the extensive training drills, and Larry provided some sound advice on equipment that could have been a life saver. Anyway - you must get the point. An Outstanding range with outstanding training. I look forward to attending more training sessions, and increasing my time on the range. I highly recommend the Range At 355 for all you firearms and related needs.

The place is real great and clean and all the staff was pretty nice except the one woman who works there. She was very bratty and every time we wanted to just buy more ammo she would make it difficult. She has made me not want to go back there just because I dont want to deal with her again.

A lot of ranges Ive gone to treat women like idiots, but this place welcomed me with open arms and was respectful. The range is clean, ventilated, and top notch. Fake Americans! I was not allowed to shoot at the range and was kicked out of the store for not wearing a mask because of a medical condition by staff who were not wearing masks. Avoid this place at all costs.

I was extremely impressed with how amazing the range officer was towards me. First time shooting since I was pregnant and had my child. I havent shot my firearm in over 3 years and he was so encouraging. The only downside we were placed next to a rifle which made it very hard to concentrate due to percussion. I highly recommend the range at 355!

Ive been to a lot of ranges but never tried this one. I came in to be rudely welcomed by a staff member. I asked if they had any ammunition in stock and the staff member said, well obviously. which? I found this a bit rude, but I continued and asked for .45 ACP. The staff member mentioned they can only sell 2 boxes per person, which I understood and gladly agreed. I did ask how much it was per box but the staff member said itll show up on the payment screen. So I ended up paying $52 for 2 boxes of 50 count 45 acp ammo, which is overpriced to competitors in the area (because I went right down the street to a different range and got the same boxes for $45). The worst part was that as I left the store and got home to look in the plastic bag, I was NOT given .45 ACP, I was given .40 S&W. Id gladly come back for a better experience if they offer me one.

Friendly and very knowledgeable staff. They helped me pickout the product I was looking for. They dont just cater to the professionals gun owners. Im by far anything but knowledgeable, on firearms. Great range and good value.

First time we visited the manager was very helpful and understanding of a miscommunication over the phone about gun rentals. He helped us rent a few guns and even gave us a recommendation for a local restaurant after we were done. Its very clean and there is a great selection of accessories and targets to purchase. We look forward to going back very regularly.

The female attendant was unnecessarily rude and disrespectful to myself, my family, and everyone else that came up to her counter. An older man was like an SS officer looking over your shoulder. My mother missed a few shots on the target, striking rhe cardboard holder. He told her and her boyfriend no more headshots.Never been treated with such disrespect . The staff at 355 is unprofessional and rude, we will not be returning or reccomending this location to friends and family. If you want a real range experience, head over to Rinks gun and sport.

The service was above and beyond what I expected! I have gone to other ranges and the service was nowhere near how my wife and I were treated today. This was her first time at a gun range, and coming in the door, Rick was very helpful. When my wife started shooting, Nick stepped in and showed her some pointers and was very helpful. And to close it out, Sandy was especially helpful in showing us some other options with other handguns. It may be a little bit further drive, but I gotta go with the first class customer service!

Best range here without a doubt! I try to come up once every week. The staff is very friendly! Range is updated and clean! The staff constantly walks In both ranges making sure everyone is being safe and not idiotic. I havent doubted my safety there yet. Lets face it, there are those people that go to ranges that dont use their head. When that happens the staff immediately intervenes and fixes the problem. Those people are few to none here. Good selection of firearms with good prices. Lighting is good so is the ventilation. Would highly recommend this range.

Ive been to 355 atleast times since my bday in May during a pandemic. The place is nice and clean and they dont play around about safety. The range officer on duty was extremely knowledgeable and helpful if I had any questions, even on range. And honestly I like the tough love type of mentality that I notice some are mentioning. Hey, we all have bad days and working at a gun range Im sure theyd like those days very limited which is why they may seem a bit uptight when they notice a issue.They lady at the desk that people are saying is rude I get it, but shes not that bad, lbvs. Eyes, and ears, mask up. An excellent experience from start to finish. Staffed with law enforcement professionals who are experts and extremely friendly. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful - no issues on the range that a couple of reviewers had. The facility is bright, clean, and had well stocked. Range controls are top notch. The best range I’ve been to! It is clean, well ventilated and has stare of the art equipment. The people are extremely friendly and helpful. I am always greeted with a smile and usually get into some great conversations with the workers after shooting. Purchased an annual membership after so many pleasant experiences.

I took the16 hour concealed carry class and Larry was my instructor. From start to finish the class was very informative and the hands on demonstrations where a great learning tool. My instructor was Larry and he really took the time answer any questions or help out on the range when qualifying. Great experience.

Great experience. One of the range supervisors was extremely helpful. I’ll withhold his name in case he wants to remain unnamed. In any case, this was the first time I fired a new rifle, and he helped me a great deal and he didn’t make me feel incompetent during this time. Even though I was incompetent.The facility is nice. I was able to get right on. I will definitely return.

I recently took my concealed carry class with Larry and it was very good. He is a great instructor, who was able to keep the class engaged and asking questions. He provided great examples and even some hands on training to ensure that we all knew exactly what he was trying to teach us. I would highly recommend taking this class.

Took the concealed carry class this weekend at range 355. The instructor Larry, was very informative and I believe everyone in the class has gained so much life saving knowledge from it. Awesome. Best range around the area. Very new and updated, excellent ventilation. Reasonable prices for purchase. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Gave us an extra few minutes to finish the last 15 bullets we had purchased. Overall great place, will be going back to do our shooting.

Great experience. Much nicer and accommodating than Mega and way better ventilation than Rinks. I like that, in the range, your time doesnt start until you send the target down. There is a countdown timer on the target control so you i know exactly how much time you have left. LE and military discount. Also, very nice range for women to shot at, and they have special classes and meetings for women shooters.

I enjoyed the firing range. It is clean and well lit. The employees are friendly and professional. With that said I did have a disappointing experience with the FFL transfer I did with them. Apparently they exist in Bolingbrook physically but does not exist in the mail system. The Range at 355 provided the Bolingbrook address to the sender and USPS stated the mailing address did not exist. I had the tracking number and received an alert the pistol is being sent back to sender after I have been waiting 2 weeks for it. I called USPS and looks like they exist in Woodridge not Bolingbrook. After being established this long, I would think they would either correct this or give the sender the actual correct mailing address. Now I will have to wait another week or two to receive my pistol. In the end Im the one inconvenienced and still had to pay money for services that I am correcting. Ive been to this range quite a few times and never really had any issues. The staff in the shop are pretty helpful and knowledgeable about everything the range has to offer. But this particular time I brought a guest and it was his first time shooting there and thought things would be fine. We had issues with the Target controller, it somehow logged us out and was unable to push the target out. I called the Range Officer over and asked for assistance and he replied Now you have screwed it all up, watch out. As he huffed and puffed which is rude and unprofessional. Theres no directions on how to properly enter your distance into the controller and sometimes can be confusing. I read a couple other reviews and Im sure we are all talking about the same guy. He treated us like we were incompetent and I refuse to give someone like that my business. We came there for a good time at the range and it turned into a horrible experience after speaking so high of the range prior to this incident. I hope by me sharing my experience that day they will do something to monitor this guy. Its all about how you handle things and his way of customer service is unacceptable.

Ive been to the other local ranges, and left disappointed in the attitude of the staff and the state of the ranges.These guys are staffed by retired and active state troopers, you can tell they are used to dealing courteously with the public.State of the art range with an awesome ventilation system and decent pleasant staff.Keep it up guys!!

Very good range staff is always friendly and giving you tips on your shooting very nice range and busy sometimes..

Great modern range. 2 ranges one standard range and one programmable range. Well maintained. I have aways had a great experience at this range with the staff. They are friendly and willing to help. Shoot up to .30 caliber. Discounts for LE, military, and Fire/EMS with proof of service.

Great range all around. From training to practicing. Staff is excellent from service to safety. Ask for Parry for teaching. He is excellent!

Perry(Range 355) and Ryan(Krimson Security & Fingerprinting) were exceptional instructors for the Concealed Carry course that I just completed. Fantastic real world examples, scenario considerations, and lots of practice to make all levels of gun experience feel comfortable. I highly recommend this course and especially these instructors.

Great range, very modern and well-lit. The staff are very friendly and there is a massive selection of firearms. Range time is priced very reasonably. Whats really neat is that they have a section of the store dedicated to Illinois-Made firearms. I love supporting local businesses, so for me this is awesome.My only major gripe --and I have to take two stars off for this-- is that while the range is great, they dont allow for steel core ammo. It is beyond me how any range built within the last five years wouldnt be able to withstand some of the most common, popular, and dirt cheap ammo made. It seems anti-consumer and backwards.I will definitely keep coming and spending my money there, as the range is fantastic. However, my business will be taken else where when I want to shoot an AK.

The Range at 355 CCW course was a remarkable experience. Not sure what to expect going in, I was surprise by how engaging instructor Larry and the course material was. His presentation style, relevant career experience/stories, and hands on instruction were exceptional.Fantastic experience at a great range.

Great range and employees here. 2 different rages, 1 range is a standard indoor range with a max distance of 76 Ft. The second rage is 76 ft as well but, has the ability to have moving targets (Not side to side moving but, turning targets).The employees here are great and helpful. Good place for advanced shooters or beginners.

Ive had a great experience here, the guys are all very helpfully, tho I did not have the range Nazi that everyone on here is talking about. We do know what to look for tho we own Shark Arms and we deal with AR15 parts and also shooters new and seasoned, and a good range officer will help shooters not bully them.Other than that we like 355 there range is state of art, and is priced rite.

Best range Ive been to period. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The range is well lit and kept at a comfortable temperature. The ventilation system is very good also.I have shot here more than 20 times and have never had a problem with any of the range officers. The one time they corrected me on something, he was friendly and professional. I took the CCL class this weekend and both instructors were very good. I highly recommend this range.

Dont waste your time or money on this place. Do not recommend this location anymore. The customer service is horrible. Used this location many times before, very excited that it was so close and had many nice experiences before. My last two visits I was meet with rude, condescending, and arrogant people. Who treat customer like a criminal and do not want to be helpful or even civilized in a greeting. I will not come back again. To the owner.Thanks for your funny nonsense response. Maybe if you read the review and the other reviews you would know that my review was about your staff and their treatment of customers. The issue of the ammo that you sold me . The ammo was PMC X-TAC 5.56MM (M193) nonmetal that is a regular ammo for rifles with this caliber. Maybe your staff should know that and you should check your information before you comment.
