Spent the afternoon with Barry, a Monark sales rep, and never once felt pressured or obligated to buy anything. It was actually a fun and informative time. We are in the design phase of our new kitchen and Barry opened my mind to all kinds of new ideas I hadnt even considered. Thats what made this day @ not just another appliance store so exciting.Well designed and elegant displays. Top of the heap, but high $$$ appliances a girl can dream about.If you dont find your dream kitchen here, you didnt even look.
We were truly amazed when we first “wandered in” to the Monark showroom. We were greeted at the door and felt welcomed… not pressured. The showroom is beautiful, much larger than we expected, with all the appliances you could want wonderfully displayed. We were welcomed by Chuck who took his time and answered all our questions. Chuck was very knowledgeable. After listening to what we were looking for, he explained how different brands did or did not meet our needs. We were told about specials that could save us some $$ as well. We ended up ordering a full suite of appliances. While we don’t have the appliances yet, our experience in placing the order with Monark was great!

I started an online chat with Charles. I was looking for a wine/beverage center in a particular (custom) size. Within 24 hours, all by text, Charles found the item, we negotiated the price, he prepared the paperwork and the entire purchase was completed within 24 hours because of Charles’ responsiveness and obvious experience. Wonderful customer service.
After being highly disappointed with an experience at Bill Smith Appliances, we went to Monark and were pleasantly surprised with their up front honesty about how the appliance industry is experiencing delays due to the pandemic. So far our experience with Monark has been superior. The range is on back order, like everything else in 2020, so I can’t speak to installation, but I have every confidence it will be great. I thoroughly researched many outlets for this range and, surprisingly to me, Monark was the least expensive. The customer service has been most impressive - very friendly greeting and helpful as we entered, salesman was knowledgeable and had answers to all our questions. And like no one else we dealt with at any of the other stores, he contacted us after our visit, sent information by email, and phoned with further information. I always thought this store was only very high end and beyond my price range, but found out that is not entirely true. They do have beautiful high end appliances, but also many of the same found elsewhere and less expensive. This is going to be the first place I look next time I need an appliance. I’m very confident delivery and setup will also be exceptional.

Our initial impression of Monark was very good, however when the sales person we were working with unfortunately became ill we didn’t hear from anyone. After a week of waiting for the quotes we were expecting I called and was told that the salesperson was hospitalized. After explaining what we were waiting for another salesperson contacted us and I had to start all over telling them what we wanted. I got the impression that he was not very happy about working with us and he was not responsive to emails. I ordered and paid for the appliances after being told it would be 8 - 12 weeks for delivery. When I got a call saying they would be here in less than 4 weeks I was skeptical and made several attempts to contact them to verify. The first time I was hung up on, the second time I was transferred to voice mail and the third time I was told it would be 5 months! I would give them negative stars if it was possible.
The people I dealt with were terrific. I received all of the information that I needed almost within minutes.The follow through to set up delivery and installation was also done quickly and I am waiting for further information for my install tomorrow.Total dealings with this resource were fabulous. My decorator set the wheels in motion and Monark follow through almost immediately.

We walked in off the street and we were welcomed by the staff. We had a Sales Selection consultant, Terry Sandage, in a few minutes. He worked with us to purchase a side by side refrigerator. The showroom is nicely layed out with luxury brands to see. The follow-up has been great and delivery in 10 days. Terry found us a needle in a haystack. Wonderful.

They have all the best models and seem to have something for any budget if quality and high end appliances are what you are in the market for. Monark ROCKS! When my fridge recently “died” and I needed a new one ASAP Monark came through. In this COVID environment it was very difficult to find anything that suited my needs. Monark not only had a fridge that suited my needs but had it installed within 2 days of placing my order.

One word IMPRESSIVE
Very disappointing customer service at the Bonita Springs location. After purchasing $23,000 of appliances in 2015, we experienced a total lack of responsiveness over a $50 refund due for a service not rendered. Our Monarch invoice contract for a subzero refrigerator included a $50 Hand-carry Pro up-charge for the unit to be hand-strap carried to the 2nd floor - not dolly delivery up the interior hardwood stairs. The delivery crew arrived, but did not have the equipment or manpower needed for a strap hand carry. With 1 week before family arriving for the Christmas holiday, we relented to the use of a dolly and have some minor repair work to do on our stairs. Monarch was contacted right away to inform our sales rep that the Hand-carry Pro delivery was not made as ordered on their invoice and we simply requested a refund of the $50 up-charge. Our sales rep said she would look into the matter. I called back a week later for an update and was told that Monarch was charged the $50, so they will have to get the $$ back from the carrier and then will issue a refund to us.Really - seriously ??? Totally poor customer service - to deny a $50 refund for something we paid for but did not receive? To a customer who has purchased $23,000 of goods? After hearing no further word back from Monarch, now weeks later, we have contacted the delivery carrier direct and they are issuing a refund - no hassle. Shame on Monarch. You can expect a high-end selection of appliances and assistance before the sale, but be warned about their level of customer service AFTER the sale!
OMG! Called today to confirm my delivery next week in our condo. Was informed that Monark has been under a “purchasing freeze” for some time. I ordered months ago - and paid - but now - days away from our move-in find that even though they took my money they had not been able to order from the manufacturer due to this freeze. So - we move in next week - i guess I’ll get an Igloo and a camp store. They tell me that it is far unknown as to when they can fulfill my order. Deposit - shamasit - 5 months having my order and money and now “out of luck”. Is this a BK in process or what - I don’t know?

I can’t begin to tell you how effortless and pleasant my experience has been with Monarch.My Miele dishwasher with a wood panel front needed replacing and I contacted Monarch online, after being told by Ferguson’s that they didn’t even make that dishwasher anymore. Steve in sales emailed me back the next day ( yesterday) forwarded me a quote today which was very fair ($150 for delivery, installation and taking away the old dishwasher) and the price is the online price.Thank you Steve!I look forward to my new dishwasher.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I bought all very expensive appliances all of which I have had trouble with. The Marvel fridges were broken when delivered. The sub zero ice make has never worked and I have been told that the crack seal is not fixable so not to waste my money on fixing it. The U-line wine fridge that replaced 1 of the 3 Marvel we ordered is not able to be fixed within a reasonable price and i have been advised to buy a new one. The Miele appliances i purchased (dishwasher and side by side fridge and freezer) have be serviced and work fine but I have had problems with then too. When I contacted our sales representative after installation I received attitude and a very poor overall experience. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HERE.!March 3, 2017 update. A very professional gentleman by the name of Bruce called me today to ensure that I had found a solution to my concerns. He was concerned and had all my information in front of him. Once the appliance company comes next week I will be sure to update this review as Bruce has assured me that he will help me any way he can.March 17, 2017 update. I have had an authorized service company look at appliances and the sub zero ice make seems to work fine after he plugged it back in but told me it would take 2 days to be sure it actually makes ice. The fact that we could not power the unit off ourselves is a concern to me and makes me feel like this appliance is a lemon and would prefer a new unit but will wait to see over the next 2 days. With regards to the U-line wine cooler. The unit does not work. The control panel is broken and the service man did mention that the unit was not installed correctly and could have caused the unit to freeze up and the control panel to burn out. He will be calling with a quote in a couple of days and at that point we will decide what to do. I feel that we should have a new unit delivered and installed correctly. At this point I am still extremely dissatisfied with the appliances and the installation by Monark (then) Florida Builder Appliances as the installation was not completely correctly for the wine cooler and the sub zero ice maker has now given us the same problem twice. I will keep you posted.March 13, 2017 - Just spoke to the manager with regards to the Uline wine cooler that was not under warranty and he has spoken to the Uline representative and they will cover the cost of the part, and shipping and I will cover the labour charge. What a happy day and thank you so much to Monark for their help.
