From the minute we walked in the door of their show room, Jim was fantastic. We had multiple quotes for a kitchen remodel and they were all more than our budget. Jim was out at our house within a couple of days. He drew up a plan with in another couple of days and low and behold, it was amazing and in our budget! We needed the kitchen done in a month and a half and Jim made sure it happened. The kitchen by ambiance installers and the sub contractors (floors and dry wall) were always on time and professional. Jim would stop by and check on the progress often. He would respond within 30 minutes, everytime we had a question or concern. The results were better than I could imagine. We sold our house recently and I believe that we got more for our house because of the kitchen, than what we paid for the kitchen. Cooking went from being a chore to being something I actually enjoyed because of the new kitchen.
I had a great experience with Jim and Carlos updating my kitchen and bathrooms, and absolutely love how everything turned out. It feels new, fresh and clean. Thank you kitchens by Ambiance.
We had been renting our condo for a number of years until our tenants lease ran out in June. Now that were retired, we decided to move into our condo and a kitchen remodel was a major step in freshening up our condo. Downsizing from a 4,400 square foot home to a 1,400 foot condo has been challenging. But the new space saving functionaity of the new kitchen has made it possible. The increased height (from 30 inches to 36 inches) on our upper cabinets has made a significant amount of storage space that we didnt have before. We chose KitchenCraft Cabinets because they have a high-quality product at a great value. We also chose quartz countertops from MSI because they are non-porous, which never need sealing, and theyre easier to disinfect. Jim made it super easy to work with them remotely from Stamford, CT. They communicated with us through phone, email, and text. Working remotely, we were able to have the kitchen cabinets installed before the movers brought all of our things into the condo. This was our 4th kitchen renovation and it was the smoothest out of all of them
We had a kitchen in mind before we contacted Kitchens By Ambiance in September. We started working with Dan and felt he was a good fit for us. We became aware of some new features of a kitchen that we had not known about such as automatic opening doors. Working with him was great! He suggested a major modification to our original countertop design that, as it turns out, was a great idea. Its so much more functional and open. It took about 2-3 weeks to get our kitchen designed, a few weeks to get the cabinets made and shipped. They began construction in early December and the project was completed by Christmas. What we like most about working with Kitchens By Ambiance is that they were very quick, very efficient, and anytime there was an issue, they took care of it immediately.
2 Months ago, I went to the store with my own kitchen drawing, I thought it could help to save time. I have spent 1 hour talking with the owner about my project, at the end he asked me: did you you get some other estimate ? I said yes, just one. He did not show up, for making a simple estimate. I ended on signing a contract for 90,000$ with one other store. So if you go over there, just say that you’re getting your first informations.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to Jim and Kitchens by Ambiance for transforming my small galley style kitchen (built in 1969) into an open and spacious brand-new kitchen. Everyone involved in the process made certain to minimize the risk of Covid-19 exposure both in their offices and in my home. The cabinets arrived ahead of schedule, even in the midst of the pandemic. I never imagined I could have a kitchen that might be found in a million-dollar home until I went to Kitchens by Ambiance! Thanks again, Eileen Hudak🤩
Kitchens by Ambiance installed our new kitchen in the fall of 2018. Dan Smith was our project manager and he guided us every step of the way from beginning designs to the final day of completion. I have installed a new kitchen before, and the expertise and professionalism of everyone involved far surpassed my vision. Our house was built in 2000 and did not have an open concept from kitchen to family room. Dan removed the existing wall after carefully considering structure, function of the kitchen, and how it would impact the look of the entire house. Wow, what a dramatic change it has made. We have a gorgeous kitchen, and one we enjoy cooking and entertaining in! Our kitchen is PERFECTION. It was completed in a timely manner and all contractors were here as scheduled! Kitchens by Ambiance greatly improved our home and we are so happy!
We were very pleased with our experience at Kitchens By Ambiance as we stopped by the showroom with our ideas and got installed exactly what we had hoped. Jim was so very easy to work with and was excellent with his follow through to make sure we were happy with the work that was being accomplished. Our thought has been that our dollars spent were of great value as the guidance that we were given was so very helpful. We highly recommend that anyone considering a kitchen redo contact them for their perspective and expertise.
Our experience with Kitchens by Ambiance was more than perfect. We agreed on a contract. They performed in every aspect of the job. We had a glitch with the hurricane and water issues. They stood by all of the issues that were involved. Jim Gerard, the owner of the business, said We can make this right for us. As the customer, he stood by his word and the problems were resolved. We are extremely pleased with our new kitchen. It is beautiful. We are certain it has upgraded the value of our home. I would recommend Kitchens by Ambiance for future consideration for anyone seeking their expertise.Dr. and Mrs. Terrence WallBarefoot Beach, FL
We selected a private contractor named Kevin Johansen who strongly recommended that we work with Ned at Kitchens by Ambiance. We went with our interior designer to their show room in Bonita Springs where we worked with Ned who helped us choose countertops, hardware, and cabinetry for our kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room. Initially the cabinetry took a while, probably about a month, to receive. But once it came in, Tom immediately came to our house to begin the installation process. We can’t say enough good things about Tom. As an installer he is amazing. He wouldn’t settle for anything that was less than perfect on the cabinets. In fact two or three times the cabinetry measurements were slightly off. He would alert Ned who would then call the factory to ensure perfection. While some people might think that is an inconvenience, I am quite pleased that Kitchens by Ambiance goes the extra mile to make things right at no extra cost to the customer. Once the project was finished, Ned asked if we were happy with everything which we definitely are! We have received numerous positive comments from our friends and neighbors. We highly recommend Kitchens By Ambiance.
Great full service kitchen and bath cabinet business. Ned was very thorough and great to work with. Our contractor loved his attention to detail and he didnt have to worry about anything not being done on time.
I’ll be anxious for the owner to reply because it will be the first time Jim has engaged or responded to this problem since it started. On a scale of 1-10, I give this business a -2 and here’s why.It began when I chose someone other than their G.C., a decision I made based on three competitive bids...two of which were 22-25% less than their GC.S BID. I chose the mid-bid and have been thrilled with them ever since. However, that decision caused KBA to go sideways on me.It started when the designer’s husband mis-measured the cabinet space by several inches and rather than a) accepting the error and/or b)coming out to look at it, “they”, as defined as everyone at KBA decided to take the word of the person who made the mistake and NO ONE ever came to see it for themselves. I even took 5x7 photos to the owner for him to see and asked for a Call or meeting but NOTHING. They” randomly, and inaccurately blamed the installer and ME! At one point, the designer HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME.There’s no explanation for their lack of professionalism or just their lack of acting like civil business people. What owner doesn’t want to know the truth behind an error? If KBA’s profit margins are tied to the GC, they should have said something up front. Why would anyone want to do business with a designer that can’t say, I’m sorry, I made a mistake and an owner that says, we will make this right.Three weeks later, the correct cabinets arrived and they made ME pay $150 to have them delivered to my home or I wasn’t going to get them. Remember...this was their mistake, not mine. AND the third cabinet was the mistake of the cabinet maker and had to be redone. My guess? The $150 was their profit in the cabinets so they didn’t lose any money. They held me ransom. Pay $150 or no cabinets and as part of their business friendly program they said cash or check only, no credit card.Believe me, you can’t make this stuff up.
Thank you Mr Gerard for your response. I appreciate that you took the time and also offered to help us personally. We did find someone for the job so all is well!
Excellent customer service. Lots of choices in their showroom. We chose a quartz countertop from Cambria to compliment our cabinets. We couldnt be happier with Kitchens by Ambiance. We get so many compliments on our new kitchen!
Over priced. Under delivered. Refused to accept responsibility for their mistakes.
I stopped in and was very impressed with the showroom and the professionals who work here. Nice work.
Great working with Dan.
Excellent quality and expert service!
