I was amazed at how many different flavors of soda they carry. It was really hard to make decisions on but we did buy 8 of them.

The store is still nice and has a cool atmosphere however if you are looking to buy specialty candy this is no longer the right place. The store is 90% different types of soda bottles. The rest is salt water taffy, a few novelty items and candy you can find at a gas station, drug store or grocery store. There are no bins of self serve variety candy like gummy strawberries, gummy cherries, variety tootsie rolls or chocolate. Wouldn’t recommend coming to this store for candy at-least.

Rocket fizz was a really cool place with a lot of really cool stuff in it! All the drinks that you can think of that you had as a kid they’ve got! They also have a ton of candy that is not commercially circulated. I would suggest going in with the idea of spending some time picking out some of your favorites. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly

Cool place the kids love to stop at, its a little pricey but they have some things you cant find anywhere else so its fun to browse and see what you find.

Great atmosphere. Walking in the door is like stepping back in time almost. They had a great selection of drinks and candy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Too bad the Boardwalk where its located is pretty much empty buildings now.

A lot of the items we had as kids were here. We seen one item after another. We plan on coming back on next get away and pick up a lot of items for the grandkids.Thanks for bringing back memories

Almost any candy you had as a kid, you can find at Rocket Fizz! I love visiting Rocket Fizz every time I go to Louisiana.

Neat place with a huge selection. I spent some time really looking around and trying to find something unique for my kids. Theres definitely some unique stuff here. Prices seemed a tad high, but nothing outrageous. The staff however, was rude and unapproachable. They were all busy putting price tags on candy, which I understand, but when I did speak with them the girl especially was downright rude and disrespectful. She acted as though I was inconveniencing her by asking a question and having her ring me up. Her personality completely changed when a group of her friends walked in and I got to hear all about what they did that weekend. Im glad I didnt have my kids with me...

Its is a Amazing place. If you go to the Boardwalk in Bossier make it a Must to stop there. You wont be disappointed. Also great customer service to :).Went back this evening (3-13-2021) and had a great time. Bought some candy was there for a while. Lost track of time. They sell soda bottles in bulk, but no bottle opener. I was on vacation and no way to open my bottles easily. I had to use the back of a big knife.

Would recommend i injoy going to the board walk to go here I like the wide variety of sodas and candys really injoy trying new sodas and candys each time I also injoy geting the mystery bags always cool to have a surprise of candys you may get.

Every time Im at the boardwalk I stopping here to get gummies. They have a lot of the old throwback candies and a huge selection of soda drinks. A lot of stuff you cant find anywhere else. Prices are a little high but if you want it youll pay for it

As for Rocket Fizz, this place ROCKS!!! Not only was the employee helpful, but she was friendly and chatty. Everybody needs to come and see everything from old school candy that we grew up with to new and exciting candy and memorabilia! I spent about 10 minutes just taking everything in and making some tough decisions due to the variety of candies. When I have more time, I will visit again, and give myself a cavity from all of the goodies offered!

The employees were extremely helpful and nice. Its a very fun atmosphere and they have lots of different varieties of unique sodas and candies. The reason why I gave it a four star review instead of a five-star review is because of their gift card situation. I received a $20 gift card for Christmas and I went in to redeem that card and, apparently, you cannot spend over that gift card amount on the same transaction. It seems to me like the proprietor would want to figure out how to make a gift card transaction much easier for their employees and customers. We were up there trying to get as much as we could on the $20 gift card without going over and it was taking a lot of time and creating a long line. That being said, this place is awesome if you like to have fun and occasionally buy junk food but, at this point, I wouldnt purchase a gift card here until they get this fixed. Just give someone cash as a gift and put a sticky note on it saying that this is for Rocket Fizz.

Great place to find candies that you had as kid back in the 60sand 70s that you cant find anywhere else today. Brings back memories from your childhood. Great way for your kids and grandchildren to experience those same flavors you enjoyed at their age .

This is a really cool nostalgia-based store. Lots of random interesting items for sale. They sell mystery bags that Ive found are not really worth it. Wish they really randomized the contents. Beyond that, cool to find some unique candies and drinks.

I gave an earlier rating of 4 stars. The reason for that rating was based on pricing only. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. The store is clean and inviting. It is always a place we stop on the boardwalk. It has so many things that you cannot find except in a well stocked specialty shop such as Rocket Fizz. After giving the 4 star rating, I was almost immediately contacted by the owner and asked if there was anything they could do to improve. You just did. That is amazing customer service. Great job.

Excellent shop that contains something for everyone. Huge assortment of sodas that you can get individually or as 4 packs. Can even get them cold! Recommend getting the bag that you can fill for $7.99 with hard candies and toffees. Great gifts for others. Dont miss the fun signs on the walls.

They have everything! Very nostalgic feeling going in. My kids loved looking at the suckers with bugs inside. And i loved seeing some of the things I remember having as a kid! Will go back next time were in town!

An okay store. The decor is cool and the staff was very nice. The candy is extremely over priced. While the soda collection is vast and decently priced, the candy selection was a let down. I was expecting more candies not found in stores but pretty much all the candy they had you could find in any big box store for considerably cheaper! My husband and I bought one of the mystery bags for 11$, and while I know the point is it’s a gamble, I was at least expecting 11$ worth of product in the bag. What we got was a small handful of 99 cent candy,(think knock off dumdums and smarties)and one thing of mints and a box of sweettarts. Definitely not worth 11$. Over all was very disappointed with this store and would not go back.

My last review wasnt the best. We had an unpleasant experience while we were there a couple weeks ago. But the manager was very prompt to try and correct it. He apologized and quickly began to investigate. Even sent me the security footage of my whole visit. He assured me he would work with his employees to make sure it wouldnt happen again. Im very impressed with his attitude toward the situation. It is a well run store and I do recommend visiting.

Idk. They is alright

Great variety of specialty items but severely overpriced. Many if not all can be found on Amazon or other sites and even with shipping they are much cheaper than shopping at Rocket Fizz... The only thing I see out of paying the exorbitant prices is the not wanting to wait for the items by mail. The staff were kind I guess... There was no interaction with any of us shopping. I will probably not shop here unless out of desperation. The Snack Shop or the Chocolate Crocodile on the other side of the boardwalk is a lil cheaper if I just want something sweet.
