Wanted to buy things but there was NO ONE there to take payment, no signs on the door and it was the middle of the afternoon on a weekday... Tried waiting around for over a hour and nothing so we left.. shame I really loved their items

Like several other posters have said, save your money! Huge signs all over the store advertising “50% OFF ALL MERCHANDISE” with fine print stating “except handful of items”. Out of $70 of items in my hand magically that was the exact handful of exceptions. The guy who I assume is the owner is a complete jerk and I wish I would have told him to shove it where the sun don’t shine and left!

Classic bait and switch. We dropped in Boulder City Trading Post and saw an item we liked and asked what their best price would be. We were quoted about 10% off, but decided at that time to pass on it. The next day, I changed my mind after driving into Las Vegas and called back later in the day to check on their hours of operation and to confirm the price we were quoted the previous day. I was told a different price (higher, of course), but when I mentioned the price I was told just the day before, I was then told there would be no discount and I now had to pay the full asking price. When I questioned why the 3 different prices, I was told by the salesperson he would check with his boss and call me back so I wouldnt have to hold any longer on the phone. As I suspected, I never got a return call, plus when I tried calling back, each call went to voice mail, due to caller ID.Perhaps Im a bit old fashioned, but I believe when one is quoted a price, that it should be honored, and not change the price twice after the first price was quoted. So, not only did Boulder City Trading Post not sell the piece at the price they first gave me, but then made it worse by not keeping their word (again) to call me back, but ignored my phone calls.There are plenty of other businesses in Boulder City that sell the same products. I will never return to this business and only patronize those businesses that are more honest and customer friendly.Save yourself time and shop elsewhere.

Super cool place. Older gentleman was awesome. Very accomdating and friendly. Bought a lot of beautiful authentic native american jewlery for the wife. Id give 10 star if i could.

Rip off. This place sells high priced junk. Its way overpriced. This guy imports a $20 rug from Mexico and tries to sell it for $400. Go to the historic side of Boulder to get better quality at better prices.

Terrible experience! I dont know if he is an employee or the owner. The gentleman behind the counter ( I use term gentleman loosely) was completely rude. He followed my family around the store like we didnt belong there. Ive been in many stores and never have I felt as unwelcome as I did there.

We stopped here after visiting Hoover Dam and was disappointed with a jewelry purchase that was sold as 14k rose gold. After heading back to hotel my friend noticed her finger turned black. We returned to the store and was told no refund as all sales are final! Bad business for them she purchased the ring in good faith as 14k rose gold not plated. They need to go to JEWELRY SCHOOL!

We will never go back to that businessThe owner was a complete jerk to me ans my wife. He sat on the phone the whole time without even acknowledging that we walked into his business. He was rude and didnt say a word to us until we had waited at the register for almost 5 minutes. We heard from some nice elderly couple that he told them to get out of his store if they werent going to purchase anything.Horrible attitude, horrible service. Dont go there. Oh and everything is extremely overpriced.There is another business that sells a lot of the same things only 400 yards west. I 100% recommend not wasting your time with boulder city trading post.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! All I can say is RUDE! The man behind the counter followed us around the store like we were going to steal something. He didnt not even greet us when we walked through the door and never said a word the whole time we were in the store other than following us around and making us feel super uncomfortable. On top of that, everything was ridiculously over priced. I walked out upset and very irritated at the way we were treated. There was no way I was going to give one dime of my hard earned money to someone who treated us like that. If I could give this place a negative star, I would!

Store neon signs all said OPEN, owner had locked the door and just waved us off when we knocked. Signs all blinking OPEN. Never going back, unacceptable.

If I could give zero stars I would. The man behind the counter made us vey uncomfortable watching everything we did. We were trying to find some bracelets small enough to fit our toddlers wrist and he kept staring like we were stealing. After finding the right fit. We asked to leave them on the counter while we shopped for other items. I was looking at blankets and other Nick nacks. The guy then told us he was getting ready to close. Just like other reviews had stated. I would have spent a heck of a lot more money here had he given us the time but, it seems he doesntd like to have customers. Bad type of business to get into if you have no customer service.

Horrible experience. The guy behind the counter was an absolute jerk, after 2 minutes of giving dirty looks and overt staring, he went out of his way to push me and point at the sign stating you cant touch the KEY CHAINS.... all 4 of us put our items down and left. Do not waste your time.

The owner of this place is a complete jerk. Do not go here!! After looking around for about 10 mins., the owner told my wife and I that he would be closing the store (It was 4pm). It was his way of telling us to leave!!! We were in our car in the parking lot and observed another couple walk in to the store about 5 mins after we left. He did not close the store, and let them in!!! The Open sign was still on. What a jack-ass!!! Youve been warned....

Overpriced items, though many are nice.The man running the place is also very rude. Three of us were there shopping, and after we had been there about 5 minutes, some other folks wanted to purchase a metal statue out front, which they keep zip-tied to pallets. At this point, the man behind the counter came over to us and stated, verbatim, while wringing his hands, I have to go out front, and uh, yeah. As we stared at him, wondering what he meant, he repeated, I have to go outside, so youve all got to leave the building with me. Essentially, the man assumed we were going to rob him blind while he was outside assisting the other customers with their statues. We took this as our sign and opportunity to just leave, taking our business elsewhere. Its not like were teenagers or anything, either; the three of us range from our 30s to our 50s.

Terrible customer service. Man working the counter chased of six potential customers because it was time for him to take lunch. Wouldnt even show the jewelry nor give prices.
