Worst store ever, prices are crazy. They were trying to charge $50 for a pair of jeans that are worth no where near that. Don’t waist your time coming here

This was my favorite Consignment/thrift store in all of Boulder.We have many things in our home from this store and we support its mission. But after today, I likely wont be back. I was excited to visit for the first time in over a year.I waited to enter as the sign said, I was masked, had sanitized and walking around the store when, Diane, decided to tell me I was not wearing a mask(a mask that is good enough for the Dr.s office I work in) and attempt to shame me in front of other staff and customers. Also telling me everyone should double mask anyway. which she wasnt doing.. There was no please, thank you or any other type of manners shown by staff. The other staff member looked equally shocked at her rude tone and manner. I waited in line to not purchase anything, as to not be rude and put an item I had touched back. Which is polite in our current world. I understand and appreciate Covid restrictions, but that does not negate customer service of a long time customer. A simple please and thank you would have completely changed the situation.

I love Greenwood Wildlife Thrift store, I live in Denver and make the drive just to shop or donate here. I always find something to buy and I love knowing that it helps all the wonderful animals at the sanctuary. Thank you to all those who contribute!

Huge furniture collection and great staff

One of my favorite thrift shops in town. Tons of books and kitchen stuff downstairs. Only downside is the lack of menswear, a common problem with thrift stores. Clean and organized in a way that makes shopping pleasant.

I’ve been shopping here for about five years and there’s always something unique and fun in the shop.The prices are good and it benefits wildlife. The wildlife center has helped me several times, so whenever I can I shop at Greenwood.

Clean and well-organised, pretty broad selection of goods. Found a couple of vintage pyrex cups for just $1 a pop. Too bad I cant take all of them home with me!

Proceeds benefit the wildlife sanctuary, the go-to place if someone finds a injured wild animal, etc. so definitely deserves stars for that. Store is pretty well organized both upstairs in the consignment section and downstairs in the thrift section. If management is reading this, I have one suggestion. Hire more help for upstairs!!! Use some of the proceed money to get one more employee at least. It will translate into items sold. Every time I go in as a customer I feel badly for the person upstairs who is trying to do 10 things at once. She seems efficient and has always been pleasant, but clearly the front job is meant for more than one person at a time. Makes one think that the compassion is there for animals, but not human beings. :( Clutter consignment has 2-3 people working at a time and if anything Greenwood is bigger. Customers notice this kind of thing and it reflects badly on the organization. Not good practice to so visibly overwork the women employed there.

What an eclectic wonderful collection! They have antiques, modern furniture, clothes, books, jewelry, treasures. Ive made a habit of checking in to see what sort of new items they have in. I always ending up taking home something. Ive picked up tea sets to give as gifts, jewelry for myself and recommended Greenwood to friends just because. Everyone there is very friendly. Theyve even held a couch for me so I could go home and see if it would fit. At the end of the month they have great sales. What is really great is that the money all goes to help wildlife rehabilitation.

I love pre-cycling and getting good use out of things. the Consignment shop is usually out of my price range, but I have found some good priced consigned home decorations and jewelry. I love love love the thrift store downstairs. Tons of fabulous finds! Some higher ends products are priced higher (I have a hunch that consigned items that dont sell are often donated,) but still relatively a bargain. I am a regular thrifter and regularly donate things; I save the thank you for your donation coupon for those higher dollar items!

For a long time I have been been working with consignment stores. I have never had an experience like I had today. My interactions with the employees was so poor that I did not even show my belongings for possible consignment... I got in my vehicle and drove to another consignment shop, Clutter, dropped off my housewares and had a positive experience. I understand that the job can be stressful and that most of the time people are hard to work with when parting with their belongings as they usually think it’s worth far more then it is. But we never even made it to that step because the interaction was frankly weird and controlling. Will not be shopping or consigning here EVER.

I’ve been going here for about 3 years, daily sometimes. I walk in today and try to buy 2 items, one of them is missing a tag. I go to purchase my items and inform the lady who is at the cash register that there was no price tag. She then checks eBay listings for 5 minutes and gives me a rip-off price. I’m here to buy things at thrift prices, not your overinflated eBay price. Lost a customer today!

Excellent deals. Bought several pieces of well priced furniture at consignment shop and the thrift downstairs ALWAYS has something/s I cant resist.

I was so excited to discover this thrift store today! They have a very wide selection and Im impressed at how well it is displayed and organized. Their prices are very cheap and everything for sale is in good condition (no dirty icky crap laying around.) Im excited to go back again soon!

Well, it was clean. thats all Ill say. The upstairs was nice but getting barren of consigned nice furniture and was I completed distracted by a two snotty woman behind the counter gossiping loudly about a prospective consignor for all to hear. Downstairs a woman singing at the top of her lungs to the music even during a transaction at the counter. The clothes in the thrift shop were less than nice - even for a thrift. Disappointed and kinda irritated.

I love this store, also the manager, Diane and her staff! Great place to shop, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Great prices and a very worthy cause!

Poor service had a item priced walked up to pay the price tag was from another thrift storr she pulls off looks on ebay and charges 35 bucks instead of 2. Dont have items on floor then walk up and change price awful service amd would not haggle. Did not know ot a antique retail store

I consigned a victrola with about 50, 78 records to Greenwood consignment. I signed their contract: the term was 3 months with the Pick up date at the top blank. BUT, the employee who handled the contract checked language below that the pickup date was 7 days after contract termination. Next line is the language the property is Greenwoods if not picked up in 7 days from termination. And, if you try to pick it up early, they charge you. I did not initial this change, no one pointed it out to me. I certainly did not appreciate Id be deemed to abandon after a 7 day time, no notice. I was in the store twice to talk about the victrola, seeing how it was doing, making sure people werent operating it without the help of store employees. The last time I was in was a few weeks before termination. I spoke to the same employee who had helped me all along about how long it had been there, deciding, with her agreement, to leave it through Christmas. She did not say anything about contract termination, abandonment of the property, that it would be immediately sold in the thrift store below. Apparently the consignment people moved it to the thrift store immediately after their 7 days, and it was sold a few weeks later. Of course, they have no record of this sale. Did anyone contact me even once, they had my email and cell # to say - contract over, come and get your property or we will sell it? No, they just moved it out and sold it. The employee who helped me was so sorry, but she didnt do it. Her store manage was more direct - you signed the contract and we are within our rights. This may be true, but the next time you think of Greenwood Thrift and Consignment with a warm, fuzzy feeling because they help with wildlife rehabilitation - think again. The people that run the consignment store, they look out for themselves. They may seem friendly and helpful, but that was not my experience.

This store has high prices, an unorthodox pricing structure based on purchasing bulk items, and a largely unfriendly staff. The inventory at this store turns over slower then the others stores in town, so one can expect to see the same items for month after month. I will not be returning

Quier, clean, variety, mens, womens clothing bric a brac housewares etc.

Rude, arrogant, and simply nasty.

Not a huge selection of clothing but a decent housewares selection. My first visit was just before Thanksgiving and they had a ton of reasonably priced Christmas decorations.
