I have visited Trill Alternatives twice recently. Both times I had a fantastic experience. My bud tenders were friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful in choosing products that fit my budget and desires. They have some of the highest quality live rosins, and live resins, that Ive seen in Boulder. Their pricing model is simple and easy to understand. They list their prices after tax, so theres no guesswork as a consumer. To top it all off, they offer very nice daily discounts as well as discounts for buying in bulk. Cannot say enough good things about this dispensary.

The BEST medical options I’ve seen in Colorado. Always gorgeous flower, helpful employees and an overall pleasant experience. The flower is all almost consistent with or better than flower I’ve gotten from friends who home grow their own. It’s priced very accordingly as well. I have found cheaper spots, but nothing that compares to their quality. The staff is the sweetest, and always more than willing to take their time showing you product. I have high social anxiety, but I actually get excited to pick out medicine here because their staff is so patient, passionate and kind in their approach. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Trill as a business.

Place was sweet. They raised prices and stopped letting you mix and match for cheaper price. Some lady said she worked there for 4 years and said that’s how they always did it so lied straight to my face. So I’ll find a new place.

Great bud selection

Trill has the best prices in Boulder for bud, which makes them my go to location for medical. However, the quality of their bud is definitely not as high as a lot of other dispensaries. It is usually more dry, more shake-y, and has more stems than some of the higher quality flower in Boulder. Most of the bud-tenders are really chill. But I cant reiterate enough how nice it is to be able to actually afford weed on my college budget.

I’m not usually one to write a review but while vacationing in boulder I had such a nice experience at Trill Alternatives. Since I am a newbie at dispensaries, I have to admit I was a little nervous and intimidated not knowing what to expect. After a deep breath I reluctantly walked in and was greeted by the nicest man. I think he saw that i was uncomfortable so he came right up to me and introduced himself as Austin. I am a medical user and grower but when I run low or seek variety I shop around. I went to Trill and everything looked good. I got 2 strainds both purple (in the store) both up to my high standards. However when I got home I realized that the Sunday driver was not purple like the flower I was shown in the store. Also it smelt unpleasant, not in a good way. After that I discovered the problem, it was moldy. When I called them they said told them, they thought it was possible that that could happen but they were pretty skeptical. When I told them that I live out of town and that I shop all around the state, so it would be a drive to bring it back but that I would like to bring it back for a refund or an exchange they said to bring in and they would have somebody talk to me. To me it sounds like theyre going to try to talk me out of the truth that the weed is moldy. And I dont really wanna drive all the way up for that. Like I said I shop around The entire state and Im an expert at these things I already know that the weed is moldy. Today Ive decided to take it back up there and I will change this review if I met with the customer service this entitles, a refund or an exchange. Just be careful when shopping here to look at what they actually give you to take home. The customer service was not up to par

Always great selection and prices! Only concern is the rather long wait times sometimes. I take breaks from work to come by and am not always able to shop and get my meds because of the wait, there seems to be more of a focus on recreational consumers instead of those who actually need cannabis for medication

Theyre located in a convenient location, have friendly staff, and are reasonably priced. Its a huge plus that they include tax in their posted prices and take debit now.

They run 2 grows - sadly the high quality Select never makes it to the Rec side. The other (Top Shelf) grow isn’t really anything special, but Bubble Joints are well priced on Rec. Honestly a lot of the best items at Trill are pure 3rd party purchases but that’s kind of the nature of the game. Generally speaking the budtenders are helpful & care about making sure your experience is a good one. Just try to limit the large groups you bring down as their lobby is tiny, & tip your budtender!

After having been to a few other dispensaries in colorado, i was dissapointed in trill. First, its not easy to find. Its tucked in a small basement and the product room was even smaller. Poor selection and not very knowledgeable staff

Have been an off and on member at trill alternatives for a better part of a year, but they finally locked me back down. They are doing $89 ozs out the door of top shelf, and their top shelf quality has stepped up from what it was looking like before. I recommend this dispensary to all my friends, wether you are medical and or rec.

I dont like the flower here. Budtenders were nice but seemed too involved in their own politics to serve the customer properly. I like to check out different dispensaries often, however Trill did not impress me in any shape or form.

Became a medical patient with Trill in April of 17 and the first few times I got my 50 dollar ounces it wasnt to bad. Now the last 3 times Ive been there they only let me pick from the worse flower they had. They can grow 6 plants of their choice for being my caretaker but I can only choose from the worse flower they can possibly find. Very dissatisfied and will never shop there again. Changing caretaker on my next trip.

I really enjoy Trill for their variety of product. They have about every item thats on the market. The bud doesnt seem to be of some other quality I find around Bouder, but I feel like their prices make up for that. I am a deal seeker, and they have the deals! Very friendly staff that is very interested in retaining your business. If I had one gripe, itd be the location...that area of Pearl is always hectic, and I try to stay away. All in all, I recommend checking them out...they are a solid 5. After spending a few more visits here, I must say, I really like these guys and this is my go to when in need.

First dispensary I ever became a member of, very bummed I had to leave when I moved to Denver. Still some of the tastiness nugs, yet to find a place with a larger or better selection, very knowledgeable and the staff all seem open to questioning.I imagine they have to deal with a lot of lurkers because its a lot to take in. Ive tried things like medicinal patches, sodas, tincture, resin, bho, you name it they have it. A little on the pricier side of things sure, but I truly dont mind with the location and atmosphere.Medical only.

MY MOST FAVORITE DISPENSARY IN BOULDER! BEST STAFF, AND SELECTION

I visited this shop because I saw that rec ounces of flower were $100 (plus tax). There were about a half dozen strands on the shelf for that price. All of them looked like a pretty dark green with no crystals or frankly any other qualities that would make it appealing. This doesnt necessarily mean that it isnt any good though, so I bought an eighth of Ghost OG instead of an ounce to try it out.It was reasonably strong and was admittedly more powerful than I had expected. There was one problem I had with it though. It burned my throat and left behind a kind of scratchiness or irritation. This didnt feel like the kind of burn that you get from taking a big hit from good bud. It felt more like a mild chemical irritation. Now I could just be crazy, but it wouldnt feel right not to mention it.I should also mention that my budtender didnt have a word to say about the bud even as I made various comments about it aloud. He simply pulled out the jars I was interested in and opened them, and then just waited silently until I worked out what to get. I have a higher level of expectations from budtenders.Im currently on the fence about whether or not to go back for an ounce. The price is great, but between my own experience and the experiences of other reviewers I am somewhat afraid to try again.

Ive been shopping at Trill for nearly two years now and have yet to find an establishment that rivals their deals, customer service, member benefits, and knowledge about the extensive list of strains they carry.I would highly recommend them especially to any medical patient looking to designate a caregiver who is knowledgable and can provide sizable discounts in exchange for cultivating their plants.

My gf and I have been trying different shops in Boulder. So far this is the friendliest dispensary and has great specials on buying per oz. The staff was extremely friendly and we are going back in a week :) We went around 10:15 on a Wednesday and there was one other customer.

I shopped today on their medical side and was very disappointed with my experience. Only good thing about this place is how helpful their receptionist, Regina, was. The budtender I dealt with on the other hand was a joke. He was either very high or very disinterested in his job, maybe both. I was going to buy a few more products than what I left with, but all of their edibles i saw were at least $5-$10 more expensive than Ive seen at other shops and much more expensive than whats listed on their weedmaps page. He couldnt get the preroll I wanted to ring into their system so he requested that I choose a different product to purchase rather than try to get his system working correctly. Considering they only had one indica, and I dont smoke anything else, I decided to go with one of their edibles instead which in hindsight was a bad decision because when I got home I realized he had given me the wrong item. Everywhere else they either show you the item before you buy or at least go over your order with you to make sure that its correct before you pay, but he did not. I figured since I was only buying two things and was very specific about what I wanted there was no way he could mess that up. I called back to speak with a manager about this, but was informed they were all busy and that I would get a call back from one of them. When I did receive a call, I was told they were still too busy and had someone else call me to try to rectify my issue. Ive never heard of a legitimate establishment where the management is too busy to talk to a customer who was done wrong. I was told by the woman I spoke with that they were actually out of stock of the item I wanted so I couldnt even go back in and have things fixed. I was definitely not happy with what I was offered to fix the situation, but considering everything I would get from here is very overpriced, I wont be shopping here again. I can tolerate paying a little bit more if the experience is worth it, but when my budtender doesnt go to shake my hand and gives me a peace sign instead to introduce himself and calls me bro at least 10 times during my short transaction it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I get we are in a college town, buy you should treat your medical patients like the patients they are, rather than someone you meet at a frat party. If your looking for a place to get good medicine at a reasonable price sold by people who care, this is definitely not the spot to go in Boulder.
