Update:I went back and got their caramel pecan cheesecake, white chocolate raspberry cheesecake and sweet potato pie. All slices. The pie was my favorite. I liked the spice of the pie a lot! The white raspberry was good. My complaint was the crust. It was super thin and the chocolate wasn’t really rich or bold. The flavor blandly meshed in with the cheesecake flavor. I got the caramel cheesecake for my husband but he shared half of it with a friend of ours and she LOVED it. So I’ll let her thoughts be mine! Great slice sizes and again, the people there are super nice, friendly and efficient!Original: I think customer service is everything and when I walked in I felt welcomed and appreciated! I came here to try their cupcakes for the first time. I bought a dozen, all different kinds. The decorations are so cute! My only issue was the cupcakes were on the dryer side. It was disappointing because they looked sssooo good! I think for next time, I’ll try one of the pies or cookies!

First time ordering (1/2 dozen assorted) and although the cupcakes looked delicious, we were quite disappointed in the taste. They were burned on the bottom and extremely dry… The customer service however was fine.

I asked for an Elmo cake and Elmo is what I got ! Not only was the cake beautifully done, but it also tasted great ! The only suggestion I have is to expand the options for flavors . I requested to have chocolate mousse instead of chocolate ganache filling and I was told they don’t do that .Otherwise, everything else was perfect . Thank you heaven sent cupcakery for making my sons 2nd birthday a hit !

Bought 4 cupcakes the other day, the coconut cupcake was very bland and did not taste like coconut and frosting was overly sweet, would not recommend that cupcake. The chocolate lava cupcake was good, nice flavor and cake was moist but yet again the frosting was overly sweet. Overall I was not impressed by this place. Yes the cake is moist but lackong advertised flavor and frosting is too sweet.

Best Friend brought me a red velvet cupcake and it was one of the best I had!

The Display and presentation was very appealing to the eye. However, the cupcakes were disappointing. They were extremely dry and corn bread like vs moist and delicate. The icing was okay.

To be honest, I like this shop because they are very friendly, organized, and have a variety of baked goods. However, the cupcakes do not taste that great anymore. The cupcakes I have recently purchased from here are not really sweet and taste eggy. I love fresh cupcakes but something is missing. Maybe the cupcake batter is too thick with little sugar. The cupcakes are moist but it’s not light and fluffy. Please work on that.

The cupcakes here are delicious! The workers are welcoming and kind. They always serve a variety of cupcake options. Some favorites are available daily. My Favorite is the salty caramel. If in the area, you must try them out. It os well worth it!

If possible no stars would have been received.Customer service from the gentlemen at the register good.However, I should have read the reviews and I wouldn’t have spent $110.00 for the most nastiest cake;we ever tasted, the cake was to be vanilla clearly the mark was missed.They were late getting the cake made and kept asking for additional time. To add insult to injury the cake was lumpy, sloppy,and thrown together.The pictures on the cake were overlapping, uneven, and the taste.I watch everyone spit the cake out taste by taste.The cake was a failed attempt at a spice cake.It tasted like oil,nutmeg, and flour.Although,I requested vanilla.It was my son’s 21st birthday event.I didn’t have time to get another cake.Sadly, my son told me out of the 20 years,I bought him cakes from grocery stores that were delicious for $90 less the cost.By far this cake was the nastiest.So disappointing that they would even present me with that nasty cake.I reached out to the bakery for a much needed refund and they just said they are sorry.I didn’t like the cake and felt as though a refund shouldn’t be given.Unbelievable, without customers you will have no business.And the nerve to have Christian music and decor in bakery.I feel ripped off they knew that cake wasn’t right and should have told me that hours before and I would have went somewhere else (grocery store). Instead of taking my money and delivering bs to me.They ruined my son’s cake and embarrassed me in front of my guests.I highly DONOT recommended this bakery.Run don’t get ripped off.Look at the cake it looks sloppy, not vanilla and nasty.Highly disappointed former customer.

The customer service at the store was phenomenal over the past year, however recently when I attempted to get a custom cake the owner was shockingly rude and short by email. This really left a bad taste regarding the character quality of those in management positions. To be vulnerable, I wouldve felt more appreciated as a loyal customer if the owner was willing to offer alternate options.Edited: The defensive and once again dismissive response from the owner of this establishment is all that is needed to discern. Ohhhhhhh the cakes were beautiful and yummy (just wished it was a little less icing). The price was very reasonable and I didnt have to order months ahead of time ( only 5 days). The birthday girl loved the cakes and we shared with another table and the server at the the restaurant we celebrated at and they all raved about the cupcakes! We got vanilla w/buttercream, chocolate w/cream cheese frosting, strawberry shortcake, and salted caramel. Will definitely order from here again.

If I could I would give them 10 stars this bakery is the best! Very pleasant staff, always clean COVID conscious. Large variety of delicious moist nicely decorated cup cakes, cheese cake is WOW!!! cakes and pies are delicious just to look at.If you are used to baked goods made from scratch. This is definitely your spot. One warning the cream cheese frosting is addictive.

I a picky cupcake eater, but I have not had a bad cupcake from here! Ive expanded my tastings because they nail every flavor. The customer service is great! Such genuine and nice people. The only negative thing I have to say is that I tried to contact them to see prices for my toddler sons birthday party. I never heard back. Im not sure if others had the same issue, but I was unsuccessful. Ive had gourmet cupcakes in California, but they are no where near as good and diverse as these cupcakes! And the prices are significantly cheaper than California cupcakes! Super affordable!

This place is awesome. After you eat their turtle cheesecake you wont want any from anywhere else again. I PROMISE theirs is better than the Cheesecake Factory! I havent even had a cupcake yet. I fell in love with their cheesecake and fried apple pies. Their customer service is warm and welcoming which adds value to the buying experience.

I ordered a red velvet cake for a birthday and was very pleased with the turnout. The cake was beautifully decorated and well made. The cake was a big hit and we had almost none left. I will definitely order from them again!

Do not waste your money, the icing on the cupcakes were hard and dry. Then if you look closely you will see little tiny pieces of hair on the cupcakes. Overall they have a good amount of toppings to choose from, but I would not recommend this place.

I use to work in Bowie and this place was my go to for desert, in fact it’s the only place I eat cupcake from I love this place. The cupcakes are so delicious.

The gentleman that served my boyfriend and I was a treat he was so chipper and nice! The cupcakes were pretty sweet as well we got a red velvet which he enjoyed and I asked for the guys recommendation and he couldn’t have done better the German chocolate was super yummy. And of course the shaved ice was really sweet too tigers blood was refreshing.

Unfortunately, the cupcakes just aren’t good. they are consistently dense and dry. I really wanted to find a redeeming quality, but it’s just not there..

Outstanding customer service. Choices seem endless. Have met owner a couple of times. She interacts with customers and works with staff, as well. This is one of the best examples of a community business serving the public. Rum cake is to die for.

Went to this place about 3 times...cupcakes were always off and dry, nice icing, good pineapple upside down cake but on my fourth visit, I came early in the morning because I forgot I didn’t have to work so I thought I’d buy some cupcakes for my family, had to use the bathroom! The lady wouldn’t even let me go before I had bought something which I assured her I would! Nobody wants to be rushed to pick out 6 flavors while holding onto their entire bladder. I left and probably won’t come back ever mainly over the sheer fact the cupcakes are too mediocre not to be treated as a decent human being.

This place brings a sense of nostalgia! Its like a modern day old fashioned mom and pop shop! I like the intimacy of the shop, its clean, cute bright and my personal favorite pink! The customer service is A1 as well as their cupcakes, but the real star here is the BANANA PUDDING!! It taste like REAL banana. Its creamy and sweet, really sweet! Their cupcakes are also sweet and the cake part is of the cupcake is very moist. The icing taste like real homemade icing. Nothing there taste like store bought items! Its really worth the drive( if you dont live in Bowie or the immediate area,) and to me its worth every penny! I will most DEFINITELY be back!

Just went to buy cupcakes but wasn’t allowed to use bathroom. I usually buy a dozen every time I go but will definitely not be returning. Besides the cupcakes are dry. I have found a great place in Annapolis called small cakes.The cupcakes are better as well as their customer service.

Let me just give credit to the young lady that serviced us today...The customer service was great. The products were not so great. I purchased a strawberry shortcake cupcake, sweet potato pie and pineapple upside down cake. I took a bite of each one and they were disgusting. The pie tasted SANDY and gritty. The strawberry cake tasted like box cake. The bottom of the cake was stale and the top half was slightly moist. I’m so disappointed that I waisted my money.

Ordered a cupcake, apiece of cheesecake and a shaved ice. Had the cheesecake there and brought the cupcake home for later. Both very rich and decadent. Started eating shaved ice there but ended up bringing it home. They dont have lids for the shaved ice or else i would be there a lot more. If you crave something sweet this is the place!

I was so disappointed not by the fact that one of my 4 cup cakes I purchased was not satisfying to me and I went to return it to the store but the manager did nothing to accommodate my return. She stated that she would not do anything about my dissatisfaction! No credit no exchange no refund, nothing. She stood there and just starred at me. I could not believe it! I paid $2.75 for this cake and it was not fresh and the icing which she stated was far from buttery. How can you be a Christian based business and treat customers like that. Next time I will go to GIant. At least I know I can return it with no questions asked.

These cupcakes are really delicious. The best in the Bowie area. Moist, tasty, and all around great. Occasionally, they can be a little too done on the bottom (why I pulled a star), but most times theyre really good.

Freshly baked, small batch moist cakes with a sweet fluffy icing that is smooth. Lots of flavors! Leaps and bounds better than those posh cupcake places. I rarely write reviews and this place is very deserving! Clean shop and friendly customer service with a smile!

The cupcakes and milkshakes where amazing however if you expect anything quickly there it will not happen. I really like the cupcakes and every food item that they have but as I said it took over 10 minutes for me to get my product and once I got it they did not apologise after, I asked why was it taking as long as it did and it was like I was bothering them. Im pretty sure I wont be going there again and this is just my experience but it could be because the two girls there were just lazy and would rather talk to each other and chat versus making the product. Im more venting than anything else but they really did piss me off.

Very slow service, not good product. Popped in to order a quick milkshake so my son and I could go watch some live music around the corner. First time in the place. Ordered, waited for a few minutes as they went to the back and seemingly nothing happened, then a whole bunch of other customers came in, and they came back from the bank, took all their orders and prepared them before starting on mine. Presumably because they got ice cream scoops instead of milkshakes. I was literally waiting for like 15 minutes for this milkshake that wasnt made or served until everyone else ordered and got their stuff. What I got was way too large, not cold, and overblended milkshake. Kid had become wild at this point, so ended up missing live music and just headed home. Ate half, threw the rest away because it was too much and not good. Dont recommend this place.

Do not buy cakes from this place. I bought a 3 tier birthday cake. I ordered a cake 3 weeks ago and the style of the cake was changed less then 24hrs before the event after I called the same week to ensure all was on schedule. It was not ready for pick up and slide of due to not being set properly. Wet cake. Not heavenly, no customer service or integrity. Im so sorry I bought

Ice cream scope sizes here are a joke, golf ball sizes, Really??? too expensive, and a waist of money. The cupcakes are ok, Georgetown Cupcakes are moist theyre the absolute Best, and their icing is perfect not overly sweet like theirs and they are worth the price!!!

I love love love their frosting! The vanilla buttercream was perfect. That is always my test. It wasnt quite as smooth as Wegmans but the flavor was probably the best Ive bought. I also tried the strawberry shortcake and that was very yummy too. The only reason I didnt give them 5 stars is because I found the cake to be slightly dry on the strawberry shortcake. But Im super picky being a baker. If I could give the 4.75 I would have. And the lady who helped me (I think maybe the owner) was the sweetest!!

Just amazing

It was my first time today 10-20-2018 at heaven sent cupcakes and there were lots of choices so I decided on the eggnog cupcake and rum cake. I destroyed the eggnog cupcake before I left the store. The icing tastes just like eggnog the cake was ok a little dry, but the rum cake was so delicious I was enjoying it until it became crunchy. I thought it was a nut but I was like nooo, I spit it out...ugggh it was a fingernail size Egg shell! So for that Heaven gets a 3 star and I probably wont go back ☹

My favorite is the caramel cupcake. ***It becomes sold out after 5 pm so make sure you buy this cupcake early in the day.

The cupcakes are delicious, but a little smaller than what I was anticipating. Id check the website before going in, just in case you want a specific flavor, since they only make certain flavors on certain days.

I purchased the chocolate peanut butter cupcake for the first time today, and it was delicious! I will be going back.

My initial experience with this cupcakery was great. The girl who serviced us was kind, the cupcake was great, and the ice cream was good as well. Based off this experience, I decided that I wanted to use this cupcakery for a birthday party. Prior to the party, myself and my fiancée called to see if we can pre-order cupcakes, we were told that we can but it would be better if we came in a day or two before the party to place the order. That worked with us so we planned to do exactly that. The party was on a Sunday, on the Thursday before the party, we came in to place our order for 26 cupcakes. We were told by the man working in the cupcakery that day, (Thursday August, 30th) that for the cupcake selections we wanted, we wouldn’t have to pre-order because they ALWAYS have them in the store. He explicitly said that we can come in on SATURDAY, and pick them up, that they would be available. I asked him if I can come in at any time and he said YES. With this information, my fiancée and I left, satisfied that that was one less thing to worry about.Saturday, September 1, 2018 I return to the cupcakery to order and pick up the cupcakes. I am met by the same guy I spoke with on Thursday, August 31. I realize that there are NO red velvet cupcakes in the glass, and a few other selections that I wanted, so I ask him if there are some in the back. He says no, that red velvet is sold out. I remind him of our conversation on Aug. 31, and realizing he was wrong and made a mistake, he just stood there, unapologetic.Being that the party was the next day, I was very upset with this cupcakery and the server I dealt with. I was thankful that my fiancée was able to find a cupcakery in Baltimore, MD (SmallCakes Cupcakery) who was able to service us on short notice.I would like to follow up with a manager about this incident.

I purchased a “vanilla variety” cupcake and it was a bit dry and the icing was very sweet for it to be buttercream icing. I doubt it if I would spend another $2.91 for a cupcake at this place.

Only won word would do this place some justice...scrumptious, awesomesauce, out-of-this-world. I had two bridal showers within the past two weeks and they were the talk of the town. To think it took me a few years to discover them and now Im hooked. I use to run down Sprinkles in Georgetown once a month to get cupcakes from them to get my fixed of chocolate and lets not forget my bday gift. I have finally found a gourmet-, state-of- the art xloser to my home that was right under my nose. They are like a work of art. Soy bold and calm at the same time.The staff are awesome and very professional and you can see that they are very knowledgeable of the products they are selling. I highly recommend anyone who has a sweet thooth or just wanna little sweet each it will conquer it in one setting. I cant promise you will have any to saved after one bite but it it well worth trying to see how long you will last. Please go out and check for yourself. You eill not be disappointed. Thw owner is the most pleasant woman who reminds of that one granda ma that the hole neighborhood would rush to just to feel love by her spirit, demeanor and love for baking. Cant wait to go back this Friday for my daily dose of :death by chocolate my favorite:
