Paige and Sam honestly made our wedding celebration SO MUCH BETTER. We are so eternally grateful for their sweetness, professionalism, and attention to detail. The set-up of our dining table was amazing; Sam even picked wild flowers from the yard to add to it. Literally the sweetest. Our wedding was super small and intimate, immediate family only, and we could not have been more happy to have them there with us. Food For Thought did a fantastic job catering our wedding. The food was absolutely delicious. It was effortless to work with Emily to create our perfect menu, and she made sure everything ran smoothly the day of. We needed a vegan entree for some of our guests, and the wild-mushroom stuffed potatoes with cashew creme was a hit. The lemon pesto chicken was tender, juicy, and flavorful. The servers were professional and helpful. We couldnt be happier with our catering choice. I highly recommend FFT.

We had Food For Thought cater our annual company party at Dry Hills Distillery and it was absolutely perfect. They have an extensive menu to choose from, they were very easy to work with, and the food was elegant and delicious. It was the perfect choice for our event.

Food for Thought Catering is an incredible company. From start to finish, Emily and her team helped us craft the perfect evening, and the food was outstanding. With a significant shift in our event attendance and some restrictions due to the public health crisis, they were able to quickly adapt and help us modify our menu appropriately. The passed hors doeuvres were amazing (elk skewers & bison meatballs!!), the meal was all around delicious (served buffet, very professional), and dessert and late night snacks made everyone happy. The staff was incredible and very personable. It felt as though they were guests at our wedding! I cannot recommend them enough for any event, big or small.

We used FFT to cater a small birthday dinner for 12 people in Big Sky last month. It was extremely easy to work with Emily and select our menu for the dinner. The garlic infused mashed potatoes, mac n cheese and braised bison in pan jus with crispy onions were absolutely delicious. It was also very easy to perpare the food, which made FFTs drop-off catering a great option for groups that arent comfortable with an in-home chef right now.

BEYOND EXPECTATIONS!I contracted Food for Thought to prepare a private 12-course meal as a surprise proposal dinner for my girlfriend. We have traveled the world and dined at many dozens of Michelin-starred restaurants… our fine dining bar is set pretty high! Not only did Chef Austin and Maria rise to the challenge to replicate a restaurant experience and give us a meal to remember, they absolutely knocked it out of the park and gave us the best meal of our lives! From our first planning conversation, through multiple menu iterations and check-ins, to world-class execution in the kitchen, the attention to detail and true commitment to personalizing the event for us translated to an unforgettable experience that exceeded my expectations in every way. The food was creative and superb – on par with some of the best dishes we’ve ever eaten. There were no “misses,” either – every single dish reflected the thought, care, and passion of an inspired and talented chef determined to please. I would recommend Food for Thought unconditionally. I feel so lucky to have found them!

Wow! Food for Thought was one of the best decisions we could have made (apart from deciding to get married). FFT catered our August wedding and we were blown away by every aspect of their business. We went in for a tasting and the food was delicious, the menu was attentive to our requests, and the folks that work there were amazing. From that point on, we had nothing but positive experience with them. Working with Emily and Maria was easy because they are organized, diligent, thoughtful, and always responded to even the silliest of my questions! On our wedding day, we didnt have to worry for even one moment about the food, and it was a big highlight of the day. Wonderful caterer! Ive worked with them on two small nonprofit events to do a simple (but delicious) spread. We got lots of compliments. Someone at our last event told me it was the best catered event theyd been to. Such good food, and theyre great to work with. Will definitely work with them on all of our events in Bozeman in the future.

We used Food for Thought for a company conference, feeding about 80 people for 4 meals, including a bar one night. Maria was a wonderful communicator, and the entire staff was a pleasure to work with. Aside from outstanding service, our attendees constantly stopped to tell me how wonderful the food was throughout the conference. I have nothing bad to say about them and highly recommend them for any event!

I called and asked to have a sample menu made up for about 75 people, told Maria my budget per person and within 15 minutes she emailed me a menu that we actually ended up using as it was perfect the first time around... and.... Food was great, the pumpkin bar was excellent! Atmosphere leaves much to be desired. Dining area was cold, everyone had their winter jackets and the loud heavy metal music coming from the kitchen was aggravating. Quiet ambient music in dining area would have made it a more relaxing lunch.
