I love Sephora the associates that I have come across since Ive been going to different locations know there trade when it comes to skin. And I am an African American with very sensitive skin and I am dark brown and so far they have not failed me yet. I love going there. My go to is either the Pru at Copley sq. Or Braintree mall.
High end Beauty store tucked inside the south shore plaza mall. Stocks various brands of makeup, skincare and fragrance. Samples available for testing and staff always available to guide and offer assistance.The customer care helpline is also available for further assistance. Sephora also uses a points based rewards system and recently launched its own credit card with rewards for users.I love it at Sephora but mind you that little black and white bag will ruin your wallet !

I went in excited to purchase my products and finally be in a store! Knowing what I wanted I was questioned by an employee multiple times about why I was buying certain products. Everything I had in my hand she questioned why I was buying it. I’m all for suggestions but don’t question why I’m choosing products. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a store in my life. It was extremely inappropriate the way she went about it. I kindly placed the items back ($160 value) and left the store. Other staff members were great and she made me never want to return to this store again.

I am not sure what her name is, but very helpful young lady. I was there to purchase a particular perfume they did not have it anymore, but she went above and beyond to help me find a similar scent. I absolutely love my new scent, Thank you lady whos name I did not get. Oh and they have very cool Covid safety measures, I felt like I was walking into a club.
I went to this location on Sunday and meet a wonderful worker named Chris. He was so nice and made me feel very welcomed. I was smelling the perfumes with him and he choose one for me that he thought i would like and I LOVED IT!! He give me a free sample of the perfume and i just had an overall great experience with Chris at this location. He was one of the best workers i’ve ever meet!! :)

So disappointed that since they cant do samples (covid-19 I get it) why they wont give pre-packaged samples out instead...they have many sample size gift with purchase items they COULD use but guess their customers arent worth the expense?? I spent a lot of money in this store over the years but choose Nordstroms now because they will give out samples. Its a customer service issue for me.

I had to get my makeup done for a wedding a couple months ago and I had the wonderful opportunity to get it done by Victoria. She listened to all of my concerns and gave me advice on the look I wanted to achieve. I received so many compliments and I couldnt be more grateful.

I just went to this store and was helped by Ruby she was the sweetest most helpful person I think I hav ever encountered in that store she was not pushy or anything she was just helping me pick out what I needed for my wedding day and she did an amazing job I’m so thankful to get to have spoken with her and got the information from her that I needed. I will always be dealing with her from. Now on thanks so much Ruby!!
Disappointed in customer service. If I could give a half star I would do so. Clearly some culturally responsive training is needed for staff as the culture in this Sephora was not inclusive or welcoming. Pretty deplorable during these times.

Better ask about price every single time. They didn’t mark their stuff right. I’ve spent 30% more on my purchase just because of this fact. Manager didn’t want to pay any attention to me, not even say sorry. Never ever go to this place.
Came to this store on my lunch break and was met by a miserable employee. I had items I came to ask questions about before making a hefty purchase. Her answers for everything was well if you like it, its up to you never color matched me or took the time to offer suggestions. Made my way to the counter with just a lip gloss and the cashier was the one who pointed me in the right direction. Thankfully their cashiers are pleasant and knowledgeable, yet the ones on the floor giving advise arent. I walked away with a lip gloss, spray, setting powder and moisturizer. Made a pricey purchased, I hoped to have had a better experience.
Julia did my makeup for a wedding I was attending and she did an amazing job! I received so many compliments and could not be happier with the work she did. She listened to my ideas and really made my vision come to life. Her coworker Jessie was also great and helpful! Everyone there had an awesome attitude, each coworker who walked by stopped to compliment Julias work and made me feel great about it! My cashier Nim was so nice and helpful too! Great experience from start to finish!

I bought some brow mousse....was supposed to come with a brush inside! I get home..excited.. wanna do my perfect brow look😉😉😉.. viola!!! No brush!! And I live so far I couldnt go back... I almost teared up!!! Word of advice..open the box....before u pay 😃😎
Horrible customer service! When you ask for help employees tell you they will get someone to help you, but then they just leave and continue with their business. So you’re left waiting for help indefinitely.While I was waiting I tried a few foundations and suddenly Laura Mercier rep popped out of nowhere and asked if I needed help.i told her I was looking for a foundation and that I have already tried a few, she said it was not a problem and she can still match me. And she did! On top of other foundations I have already tried!When I asked to try other brands she gave me the regular “I’ll get someone to help you” phrase and went chatting with the security guard.Only when I asked to see the manager things started to move, which is ridiculous.It was a weekend, so I don’t understand how this store is understaffed on the busiest days of the week. Employees don’t care about providing good service, the Presumption is that the customer should know what they want (brand, color, texture). But then I don’t need sales rep, do I? I just go in, grab what I need and pay!the management should decide what direction this store will take- cashiers only with customers figuring out what they need or a full, professional and friendly customer service store. Right now they are nearing the first option.
Overall this store has a really excellent selection and is very well kept. The staff are lovely and very attentive - Im sure it can get crazy on the weekends, so I would understand if its harder to get someone then. However I was there on a fairly busy Monday, and I was very impressed with them. Great attitudes all around!
Couldn’t believe there are so many people having similar experience as me. This is the worst Sephora branch I’ve ever been. Went with my friend today and we were paying with her membership and got questioned by the cashier ( a guy with full tattoos on both arms) that the cash is from me but not the member herself. End up my friend bought the items for me and paid with her own cash, with all the changes (2x) given in $1s. I doubt the management would do anything with such a rude staff but I just don’t recommend this place. Don’t let this kind of people ruin you shopping experience, better to buy online!

Products are 5 Star, customer service Zero Stars. Second visit in which employees were incredibly rude and unhelpful. One particular employee I remember from last time so management is doing a very poor job training employees with potential and replacing the bad eggs.
I scheduled a makeover and it was the worst experience ever. All I felt was “spend $50 and get out” Well I can insure you that was a first and last time experience for me and very body around me!

Went here tonight for the first time looking for skin care products. Helpful staff was able to recommend something. Expensive stuff here.
Usually I have had nothing but good experiences in this Sephora, but today the customer service was very unpleasant. Today I went in with a few of my friends, we were going because my friend was planning on buying a cologne. We were greeted by some nice ladies, but one of the security guards was incredibly hostile. We overheard her asking her coworker to go turn on the alarm at the front of the store, and she proceeded to follow us the entire time we were there, (including out the door) while demanding to know why we kept looking at her. (The reason we were looking at her at all was because, of course, she wouldnt stop following us.) We spent only about five minutes in there because she made us feel so uncomfortable. I understand the stigma around groups of teenagers in stores, and also that security guards must always be cautious and keep an eye on everyone, but we were simply looking around and not being disruptive whatsoever. We have been to this Sephora countless times, but from now on we might be doing our makeup shopping elsewhere. This is by no means a bad store, but in the future, the security guards shouldnt assume that random kids are going to steal.

Ok never again will I use them, I’m just gonna order directly from Ulta, Mac, or the actual website of the vendor. I was matched wrongly twice as far my color goes. On top of that the online service is terrible and liars. I was told standard 3 day shipping now it turns into 5 days ? On top of that they use Lasership whom I have never heard of in my life !! Now I’m scared I won’t get my package which was. Fenty Beauty which they claimed was in store and it wasn’t. I will personally find a way to tell Rihanna herself to not sell her products at Sephora.
I dealt with the supposed Manager, Rob/Robert of this branch and needless to say he is a 1st class idiot, rude and lacks Customer Service skills. Sephora became an absolute #5 on my list years ago. In addition, Sephora gives you points to redeem on samples they more than likely received for free. If you go to Ulta those same points will give you monies off of future purchases. I proceed to Sephora if it is something I really want bad and isnt sold at Ulta, Macys, Lord & Taylor and/or anywhere else.

I go to Sephora often, I love makeup, I spend a lot of money on it and to receive the customer service I’ve received here is ridiculous. There are a few great employees here (I wish I knew their names to give them a shoutout ) but as for the rest...what’s with the condescending attitude? Acting like I’m a bother to ask a question if something is in stock or where a certain brand is, etc.? An eye roll is so unprofessional, never mind having the nerve to continue talking/ gossiping with coworkers when you see a customer standing there. Usually I just let it go but after tonight I’m over it and feel compelled to write such a review. This review is for the girl working tonight ( Wednesday April 25th) with the glasses and dark hair(may have had blond on ends) and her disgusting atttitude. She may have had the worst attitude I’ve experienced yet. I’ll be going to different locations from this point forward. It’s not normal to feel this negative after shopping at Sephora so there’s that lol.

There seemed to be a mixed crowd and unfortunately the clientele though NOT the employees were pretty pushy. Maybe have a game plan because browsing wasnt at its best. I was disappointed in being rushed out.

The workers at this location are so rude, like they will make you feel so bad if you are asking for more than one item to try. If you are buying a foundation or concealer, you have try on to make sure of the right color and how it feels and looks before spending money on it. however, At this particular location, the employees are so rude they literally tell you on your face that they cannot make you try these items because they are only allowed to do 3 try-ons or even while doing those 3 try ons, they do it so badly. I was a trying a concealer and the girl applied the concealer so badly, how so ever I bought the concealer because many bloggers appreciated it and it came out to be so good but the way she applied it was horrible. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERIVE
I did not enjoy shopping or doing a return at this store and they did not honor my coupon for the acting promo and they ar e rude nasty and arrogant. a different store mentioned prom they said they do not have to tell you u should tell them shawn awful
