Very clean and I met Wendy in the self checkout who was very welcoming and warm. I took one star away only because the actual check-out system was on the fritz and a 15 process took just over 30 but great in and out supermarket..

Parking lot renovated, clean indoors and outdoors, carriages pickup up promptly..great job braintree stop and shop

Stop & shop is a great start to shop at I mean I like the gas is really good and cheap overall stop & shop its been around for years and they still is good! But they need to clean the bathrooms that bathroom is really dirty provide antibacterial products in the bathroom so that people can wash their hands!

Willow tree chicken salad was on my listAnd for the third time now buying it from the grab and go there was only one unit.Id like to have more of a selection to chose from as price is important to me.The package is random weight and cost $8.09I may have leaned towards purchasing a package that cost $6.79 but did not have that choice.On the other hand I was told to have a good night by Christian the employee working self scan who was very pleasant greeting everyone who exited his self scan area.

Clean and a lot of Covid precautions in place. A lot of good options and prices. Staff very nice and helpful.

It appears that once again the Braintree Stop and Shop is placing customer service in the back seat. The new security system in the self checkout is a nightmare. I shop there regularly and today it took twice as long to check out and that was with two store workers overriding the system several times.Time is too valuable to waste on groceries especially when there are many other options locally.

They certainly could use a few more live cashiers other than that pretty nice place in and out except for the wait for the cashier

This store is always SUPER clean and organized. I always find a few items that I wouldnt find at another Stop & Shop. I just dont like that they have just 1 Entrance & Exit. It seems that its a bit crowded at times because people are getting their shopping carts, wiping them and then going in. Not everyone gets a cart and that stops others from walking in. Suggestion is to have Entrance one door and Exit through the other door....then it would not get crowded. Happy Holidays!!

Excellent service. Im a diabetic and while I was there I went into a reaction. The cashier and the woman bagging saved me. So grateful. God Bless them both.

Initially was psyched about this store because it has a larger “natural foods” section compared to a lot of other stop n shops. For those interested in this the 2 aisles are set up like this: The “natural” freezer section is one whole side of one aisle, the beverages are parallel and half of one side with a decent size tea section. The second aisle one side is half breakfast items, cereals etc and the other half chips. The parallel side is half boxed foods, pastas, soups, sauces etc and the other half candy and similar snacks which is pretty large in comparison to other stores but still lacking items here and in general I feel. A lot of common items like fruit snacks specific chocolates, cereals and drinks are missing in my opinion.What killed me and ruined my love for the store is the literal lack of ALL organic foods. They literally have none! I was totally shocked by this and still am. This deters me from going to this store.The parking lot always seems to be a fiasco getting in and out, the set up doesn’t flow well so there are patrons trying to cross while people are trying to pull into the store. Not a great flow.Otherwise it is a decent store, run of the mill stop n shop.They have the new robots which have followed me around a few times, I think they’re ridiculous and a huge waste of money. I don’t know what happened to human communication and if there is a spill somewhere someone either picking up a phone st the end of an aisle or saying something at checkout.They do have some nice flowers and some newer items some stores don’t have like these amazing looking talenti ice creams!!

Remember when grocery stores made sense and were easy to navigate? I do too and this store used to be that. Now the towering shelfs and confusing layout of where things are make little to no sense. Part of me wishes they could erase the recent renovations and go back to the way things used to be. But alas it appears theyve invested too much money in it. The near by Shaws has been a warm welcoming experience.

Went here for the first time the other day. As me and my sister were in the area. The store looked pretty clean. I noticed how the shelves in the health and beauty department had lights on them. So I am guessing that the store might have been recently updated. The staff was very friendly.

Went to this stop and shop to grab a couple of things. Its basically just like any other stop and shop honestly. Would have given it a better review but when I was there the place was packed. No way were they restricting their capacity like the state says theyre supposed to be.

Store layout, good. But prices are higher than other Stop and Shop, and other stores.

No stars at all, red meat was brown hardly any thing on shelves, couldnt find other stuff like ribs,not many choices for fruit. Disappointed

I have been shopping at this store for many years and Ive never bad problems. The store is well laid out and the staff is great. This store is currently being renovated and it has become a nightmare. I went to pick up about 10 items today and it took me close to an hour. Products are being moved to different aisles, and those new aisles are not being marked showing what items are now there. If is forcing people to spend more time than is safe, during this dangerous pandemic, searching the store to find what they are looking for. I feel it would be safer for me to shop elsewhere.

Why do I keep using this supermarket?After moving to the area last year, from Dorchester, I thought the service of a suburban stop & shop would be vastly better than the stop & stab of South Bay. Boy was I wrong!On Sept 11th, 2020, I went to the bakery to buy a cake for my wife’s birthday. A wilted, pruned-attitude of a woman curtly “serviced” me at the bakery. Quickly deducing she was in no mindset to write on the cake Happy Birthday (feliz cumpleaños), I went with a simple Message of Happy Birthday, and her name.After several tries, she shoved the unfinished cake toward me and my son saying. “that’s the best I can do. They don’t pay me enough to do a good job.” Honest to God quote. I was absolutely floored by the sheer lack of effort.Then this morning, out of desperation, I stopped in for produce, and 1/2 & 1/2, as I happen to be going by the supermarket. Remembering what “stellar” service they provided in the past, I went through the self checkout. The auto teller erroneously scanned the red grapes I put down to be weighed, followed by a message to wait for help. I waited a bit, while the meek, but disgruntled employee attended to nothing In particular.Tired of waiting, and as it was only the first thing I put on the register, I moved to another, having got some negative feedback from the meek one, mumbling something that I should have waited. When I finished, I realized I forgot the half and half. I asked her politely if I could leave my groceries there at her service desk while I ran to get the creamer. Not saying anything, and looking around for someone else to help me than her, I told her to not bother someone else, and that I would tote all heavy, my paid groceries with me.Service is just terrible. That kind of subpar service is evidence of poor training, which starts in management. Never again Stop & Stare in Braintree. Shame on you.

Great store, wifes not to thrilled with the new setup..

They completely reorganized the store during their recent remodel, making it non-shopper friendly-first time I ever used that term. I understand that they grouped things together as they did thinking itd might up the sales on some products, or itd make it easier, but it doesnt. Theres no longer a healthy, gluten-free, vegetarian or organic section. Everything is thrown together and the isles are longer than before. Theyve got guides available for people to help find things but really that doesnt help any. Why is organic frozen fruit mixed with vegetables?? I usually enjoy shopping, but not this time. I hope this remodel is not going to be chain-wide. I will stop shopping there and go somewhere else instead.

Quick and easy shopping experience!

A Far cry from the last time I was there I called a few times to make sure my pharmacy prescription would be filled there and they had it in stock awesome sauce !!.Also the store was clean due to MARTY 😳😳 love him stopped off at the deli while waiting for my prescription and the associate was very pleasant and skilled cut everything right the first time and offered me the first slice perfect I felt like a human being. Wanted Mandarin oranges in real juice and had a good laugh with another associate as we both walked past the isle overall awesome sauce expirence, I shall be coming back for my particular pharmacy needs in the future. The night crew definitely redeemed the brands location in my eyes from past visit.

Tonight my fiancé and I were shopping at Stop n Shop and we decided to pick up some seafood. We were at the seafood counter and there was a women in front of us and we went to grab something in front of her. The man at the seafood counter said directly to her “ma’am can you please move down, these very rude customers don’t care about your space” and then proceeded to continue to carry on a conversation with the customer calling us rude and and name calling us. This is harassment! We felt so uncomfortable we left without getting the seafood. Even the customer he was speaking to felt uncomfortable. This behavior is unacceptable especially to be treating front line covid responders like this. If he needed us to move to allow more space all he had to do was ask us politely and we would’ve had no problem with it. This isn’t the first encounter I’ve had with this man. A month or so prior to this I heard him say to a customer “will you be utilizing our new hours for senior citizens? you look like you’re old enough”. The man was clearly around 40 years old. This employee is notoriously rude, inappropriate and obnoxious and we shouldn’t have to feel threatened or uncomfortable when we shop for groceries.

Store shelfs didnt seem empty like some Ive been to. Fresh produce and plenty of registers open.👍

Went a bought cut watermelon and it was bad I was very disappointed for $20.00 . It normally very good.

What ever happened to a real cashier!!! Many self serve one two cashiers and lines down into the aisles. Had to ask if they had any meat items that were in the fliers.

Large store with broad selection of groceries that is generally clean. Stop and shop needs to lose the cards for sale prices and go digital like CVS finally did. Also, today, 5 of the self check lanes were waiting on assistance for various reasons and nobody was around. The lines at the standard cashiers were 8 deep.

Staff here are always friendly and willing to help if needed. Im so used to grocery stores in LA where no one wants to talk to you. Its refreshing to make small talk with the cashier and baggers at the check out. Store is clean and produce is always fresh. A great selection of foods, and the imported items section has gotten bigger over time. Lots of spicy and tasty treats from all over the world!

Nice stop and shop in a convenient location. The parking lot can get a little hectic and hard to navigate but theres plenty of parking. There is a lot of convenient stuff nearby as well, in addition to a Redbox movie rental and a bank location inside the store itself. Its our go-to shopping center when we are in the area.

I shop at the East Weymouth store weekly. Well stocked and fairly priced with a knowledgeable staff.

Now I used to do Loss Prevention, this was the most uncomfortable shopping experience Id had in a while now as my needs were wide spread I repeatedly was followed by LP in plain clothes. With the same items in there basket always in the area I was looking but never putting in the carriage then strangely enough I was looking for collard greens and the greens man was putting out greens in that area I lingered just looking at whatever else I would need and the greens man just walked away after whispering something on his breath now mind you the greens were on top all three kinds and by the area he was working. After waking away I decided to go to get my other provisions not forgetting the two LPs that were miraculously in that area as well.I then went off to see if my dessert items were going to be available to no avail and there were the two LPS I even attempted to speak to one and they had nothing to say.All I remember is my last time there when I was over charged on my groceries I knew it was wrong so I went to the customer service desk for assistance the and had the worst time with a manager telling me to shut up while I was informing her on what had happened. I called and complained to no avail she was working the day of this visit. Thank God for the lady 🙏 I asked about the salad bar she went and got me exactly what I needed for my greens ( they were awesome ), that I had to get in bags cause the greens guy only put out three bushsles I needed more soon as he saw me coming he stopped and walked away while still whispering under his breath. Businesses open businesses close the way to stay open is not to alienate the paying customer and to add value to the consumer with good customer service so that they will think first of spending there money with you.

Apathetic staff. Less than apologetic management. The cashier had no attempt to be friendly. One of the saddest things to witness is someone who is at their job who could care less. Theres a story behind this Ill keep to myself thats less than positive but feel free to reach out directly if its helpful

So close by me that I wind up here often Unfortunately. Foods fine, typical mid-quality grocery items & cleanliness is good. Checkout people are usually nice but it’s always understaffed so you need self checkout. Prices are Not good at all. $100 will get you Nowhere fast unless you’re buying ramen noodles and koolaid. If you Love your CVS card & app you will HATE the stop & shop card/app! Sorting through page after page of data to try & save 10 cents. Maybe if you clip coupons or something but otherwise.. no.Self checkout is exasperating & a total fiasco. Glitchy machines with usually one person “tending” the area. These people are clearly under paid or ill-treated or something you can tell they don’t want to be there. You’d think they’d have a rotating bag-kid or something.. Nope. It’s all you. Run a few items.. go to the end..sort before the belt halts & beeps at you.. try again.. won’t scan.. wait for disenchanted attendant.. Repeat. People in line wind up breathing down your neck there should be a sign or some system so you have space until you’re done. It’s just poorly designed poorly staffed. I hope post-strike the staff morale improves.. although I’d bet their prices will go up ! You get 2x the food at Trader Joe’s with a helpful polite person. The strike reminded me its well worth the 40 minute round trip to Hanover.

The self check lines are always long. The staff here is rude and inefficient. For Massachusetts, this stop n shop is too slow in customer service, and needs to take things up a notch. A bit disappointed and will have to shop either at Roche Bros. or Walmart on Quincy Avenue.

Im always at this location, love the pharmacy, theyre organic produce is very affordable and has a lot of variety.

Were spending less and less there, because theres less and less on the shelves.

WATCH THOSE EXPIRATION DATES! There have be countless times that I have bought or almost bought expired food at this Stop and Shop. Deli meat and cheese were at least two weeks beyond the expiration date. Im very glad I no longer have to shop at this Stop and Shop location.
