Best private lounge on the shorline. The owners are excellent, very knowledgeable, and always listening to there customers. The lounge is very relaxing and ventilation is amazing. I could go on forever with the good about this place. I highly recommend stopping in and checking it out.

Went to Vanguard today and had such an outstanding experience! First off the owner Ian is an awesome guy who will take the time to go over any sticks or recommendations that you are interested in, and he is truly a pleasure to talk to! The place itself is so beautiful and has that old school class to it! They have a great selection of cigars and the atmosphere is super relaxing. It’s truly everything you could ever ask for in a cigar lounge! I can’t wait to go back for another stick!

Always a wonderful atmosphere. The owners are very kind and knowledgeable about the various products they carry, if they dont carry something they will do their best to suggest something similar or order what youre looking for. The people that go there are wonderful to talk to, theres not a person who you cant have a nice conversation with.

Very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing for all social cigar club lovers. Ownership loves what they do which puts the club over the top. New York City style too! Great A/V, lighting, ergonomics and always spotless. In conclusion, the Vanguard Cigar Club is a CT Shoreline gem.

Very nice cigar shop. The lounge in back is exquisitely designed and gives off a very regal ambiance. This is definitely not your typical Connecticut cigar lounge, its far more comparable to a lounge that you might find in NYC or Boston. It screams sophistication.

It is a throwback to the private clubs of the past. Nice selection of cigars and a very nice cigar club with comfortable seating. There is also a calendar of events that gives the members an opportunity to try different cigars.

One of my favorite places to relax. The ambiance is what a classy lounge should look like. And the staff are attentive and helpful.

Great new cigar club in town! I stopped in at Vanguard the other night and this place is a true cigar lovers lounge. Handsome decor, plush furniture, extensive selection, and knowledgeable staff and ownership, all add up to a noteworthy environment. BONUS: parking is a NOT an issue at all! Ill be back.

Vanguard Cigar Lounge is perfectly arranged, the atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. The Owner Ian was extremely knowledgeable and his hospitality was well above the norm. I believe I have found my Cigar Lounge.

Enjoyed my experience. The knowledge and helpfulness of the owner was fantastic as I was in purchasing cigars and accessorries as a fathers day gift. The torch, cutters, cigars and small humidor were all great quality, fairly priced and a huge hit with old dad. I got a chance to check out the back where the lounge is and wow! What a cool place to bring clients or your lunch or just to hang out and get away from the wife lol. I noticed they have a sweet card table set up as well and a kitchen. Very cool spot, friendly family owned place with a nice touch of class. Would highly recommend Vanguard Cigar to anyone from a cigar aficionado to someone just buying cigars for dear old dad as a gift

Loved this place, very classy indeed. 70 in tvs mounted on the walls, and air filtration so good that my wife will even stop in. These guys knocked it out of the park with this place.
