I attempted to contact them about picking up a refrigerator (a rather nice one), that simply needs a repaired and then can be resold. While I take no issue with a company that has no interest, I do NOT like a dishonest company that makes erroneous statements to try and dissuade someone. When I stated it would be cheaper for me to just take it to the dump, then drive to their location, drop it off, and then pay them a fee on top of that for something that theyre going to refurbish and turn around and sell, the person on the other end then proceeded to tell me how the dump would cost me $40, which is fact double the actual cost. As a guy who works in marketing and business development, dont do that. I had in fact recently taken another refrigerator to the dump, so I was already aware of the actual cost. While I might have been willing to accept the costs incurred so as to keep something out of our landfill, I refuse to to do so with a company that would lie to someone over the phone to try and make a quick buck.

My refrigerator quit cooling so I called Allbest Appliance on National and Lester walked me thru what was possibly wrong. I took his suggestion and easily removed the motor controller from the compressor and brought it to him and he was able to locate one that was a close match. He charged $10 and I was able to go back home to see if this controller would fix the problem. It did so Lester saved me from having to replace a $1600 refrigerator. Thank you Lester.

Wow. What a great shop. I went down and purchased a belt for my dryer but it turned out that wasnt the problem. I went down to buy additional parts and when I got there they both wanted to make sure I was on the right track. I wasnt. We talked about symptoms and they offered a solution. They were correct (of course) and now my dryer is humming along. Thank You both for caring and for your professionalism!

This place is so great. We were expecting to have to purchase a new oven as the replacement part cost close to what a new range would cost. They suggested that we bring the clock/panel in to see if they had a replacement. They were able to fix our control panel and only charged for a few minutes of labor saving us over $400. FABULOUS!!Allbest is the only place around and open on a Saturday I could find the part I needed for my dryer. The Gal at the counter was very helpful in looking up my part and finding me what I needed. Got home put my dryer back together and ran into a slight issue.I contacted them via messenger on Sunday and to my surprise got a response just moments later. Even on a Sunday when they are closed.They asked me a few questions to diagnose the issue and I will be stopping in for another visit tomorrow to resolve the issue.Easy breezy!I’m very happy with the service!

Allbest picked up my old fridge & Freezer, and a giant old gas grill.On time, super friendly, and the pickup price was great! My Dishwasher died and I needed a quick, inexpensive replacement - bingo! They did a really good job explaining why my dryer just could not be fixed the day I tried to drop it off, so I bought one from them. Ive bought a washer from here in the past too. Both times I bought the cheapest one they had on the floor. Both have worked for years without any problems at all. Staff is nice, honest, and doesnt try to up sell me. I plan to just keep buying everything from here that I can.

This place is great. Quality appliances and friendly people. I bought my washer and dryer a year and a half ago, and recently my washer stopped working. Since I bought it from them I was able to bring it in, they repaired it for a small cost, and got it back into my house in great working order within 24 hours. Great place to recycle and get appliance parts and repair. Save $$, try here first. They fixed my range with some new and used parts, saved me a bundle and time, got the whole repair labor and parts for half the the cost of the one new part and got it done in couple of hours. They also ran it through all the tests awesome. Just like new except for the grease that was already there when I brought it in.

Ive purchased two appliances on two separate occasions and both times were great experiences. The owner and staff are incredibly helpful and kind. He also takes care of our military with a discount. I would highly recommend this store if youre looking for a generic appliance for a very fair price.

Locally owned, open 7 days a week, and the staff is very knowledgeable. What they dont have when looking for replacement parts they know how to get. For a fee (nominal) they will even come get your old appliance for recycle (if you purchase from them they will do this free of charge when they deliver).

Informative, helpful, and knowledgeable, these guys put their best foot forward. They are what they say they are, and do what they say they will do. Handling used appliances, Im sure, has its challenges. This is the type of business that Id prefer to be working with to iron out any issues if they arrive.

I brought in all the electrical components to my dryer--the heating element, thermal fuse, thermostat, high temperature thermostat and had the technician Ohms-test them. I had to replace them. I asked the technician if there was anything about the dryer that could cause them all to go out at once because I didnt want to spend $82 on the parts only to have them go out again. Technician said no, that Id covered everything and rebuilt my dryer. Wrong! The dryer worked for four loads and stopped working again. Heating element was hot after ten hours of last dry. Allbest then said I must have a short. Why didnt the tech tell me this before I spent $82? I asked him specifically what could cause the parts to blow all at once and the technician told me that it was the parts themselves. Wrong! Tech should have told me of the possibility of a short before purchase. Allbest was unapologetic for selling me on putting good money to bad, which is a rip-off.

Friendly staff is the only reason this isnt a one star. I went here before the big box store, they wanted the same price for a refurbished oven as I paid for a brand new one. Plus the new one came with free haul away and delivery. Glad I didnt assume refurbished would be cheaper.Edit Just to clarify, the range I purchased was a self cleaning but was on sale at the time. It also had a warranty since it was brand new.

We purchased a washer + dryer set in February 2019. We paid extra for delivery to the second floor which was worth it -- because the washer broke within the 90 day warranty so they did replace that. Because we paid for the delivery, they came and picked up the broken one and replaced it. Well, the second one broke again 2 months later. We just sucked it up and went to Lowes and bought a new washer. Well, tonight the dryer broke - its been about 7 months. Its been a very frustrating process. Buy at your own risk.

Ive used this store for years to purchase used appliances, and when they didnt work, they were serviced quickly and without a problem.Today was different, I called about a problem with a stove that was delivered and installed last week. I was rudely told that my tenant needed to learn how to use the oven, and that if he, Bill, the owner sent someone out there and there was nothing wrong with the unit I would be charged a service fee. Further, if I was unsatisfied I could bring the stove back for a full refund. They wouldnt go get, or redeliver the stove that they removed.Bill, youve lost a loyal customer.

Dishwasher wasn’t working. So my fiancé and I decided to replace it. We decided to go down to Allbest appliances and Refrigeration. Little did we know we were getting ourselves into big trouble with this place. I don’t know where I missed this but, at the end of the day this business has no return policy on any of their items only in store credit and a 90 day warranty to satisfy their customers. The owner of the business (woman with red hair) decided to curse me out because I wanted to process a return with her. After all we only had the dishwasher for two days and the thing never even worked in the first place. Of course when we get down to the shop they decide they want to test out the dishwasher as to portray that that they have disbelief that it doesn’t work and called us liars to our face. At the end of the day she gave up on the phone and said “just come down here and never come back again!” which I agreed I would never do. Worst customer service in my life!!!!!

The owner of Atbest is rude ! I got yelled at because I didnt explain what was wrong with my stove to his liking so he just came unglued. I will never go back. I also noticed he has an ad for buying scrap metal,but every time I took metal there he hasnt paid me a dime. It was more like he was doing me a favor for taking it. The only good thing about this business are the employees!

This is the best place to get appliances parts in KItsap county. Yes, Bill in his last few months of his life had a problem dealing wit ONEJERK, but for many years he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. The new owners just like the old Bill are the same quality people to deal with.

Friendly staff, reasonable prices, straight-shooters, even against personal interest. On last visit they showed me how to fix my refrigerator and deep freezer -- even though the parts were at competing stores (despite their huge inventory of used parts .) I have come other times over the years and always great to have local parts and service with good people (even if a previous owner got tragically sick and grumpy before selling to current owners). I feel that this store is carrying on the heritage of my uncle, Roy Hobaugh, who ran Roys Appliance Repair at Kitsap Radio on Callow Avenue, along with my father, Henry.

They had a used heating element for our oven for like 12.00 we were able to fix it ourselves the day after ours burned out. They also had a replacement drawer for our refrigerator cheaper than anywhere else. They recycle Appliances and fix them or part them out.

They went above and beyond today to help me fix my dryer. Will definitely use this business again.

Worst company ever. I called to ask a simple question about a dryer problem, as Google directed me to them. I called and asked the question, and instead of a simple friendly response I was yelled at, told they dont do repairs and to never call them again. In deed I will not call them ever for any of my new appliances! Would highly suggest to stay away from them!

I have tried calling them all morning today (a Friday). No answer. I recall going in there to ask about a repair of a range and being treated very curtly. The young lady, after asking how long it might take, simply point to a sign that said, basically, repairs take as long as they take. Doesnt sound like I will ever go there.

9/16/2014 Do not buy anything from this company, the owner is a fraud who will steal your money.I purchased a washing machine from them yesterday, hooked it up and started a load of laundry when I got home, and it doesnt work. I called the store first thing this morning, was referred to their repairs department. Called the repairs office and my info was taken down and I was told that the owner would call me back to schedule a repair time. I followed up a few hours later, when I had not received a phone call and was laughed at and told to wait my turn.I spoke with the sales location and was told that only The Owner could do scheduling and I needed to talk to him.Called and asked to speak with the owner, Bill Barron, he answered the phone already yelling at me and told me that I had to wait for his tech to call me back (was told by two people the owner would call), and called me a liar about him calling me back and told me that he would not fix my washer would not issue a return and to never call again, aggressive and yelling at me the whole (short) conversation.He sold me a broken appliance, and now refuses to fix the appliance or refund my money.The police have been notified, and they are well aware of Bill, his deceitful business practices, and have to deal with him on a regular basis.Do not do business with this Fraud.

Quick friendly service they are fairly homeowner savvy.

They assured me the part they sold me was just a newer version and thats why it didnt match what was in my machine. However, it was actually the wrong part, and they absolutely refuse to do a refund. It was never opened, and still sealed in the original package...Not much better customer service than the previous appliance store in that building, that they are trying to distance themselves from.

Unfortunately it is at the site of the former Atbest Appliance where the previous owner was less than friendly after an unfortunate stroke. This is a new store, new owners and a friendly staff. Atbest reviews, for some reason, still appear under Allbest. Allbest has no affiliation with the old Atbest except location.

My first impression of Atbest was WOW, what a selection. I had been hunting for used appliances on Craigs list, and driven all over looking at some junk. The appliances (specifically refrigerators) they offer are clean and they are displayed plugged in so you can see they work. They are knowledgable about not just their products, but have a helpful knowledge of other ones as well. Not only did I buy a refridgerator there, but Ive also been back for appliance assessories; such as washer hoses, dryer plugs, dryer leveling feet, and now even a dryer heating element. With each transaction, I got good service and the saleslady was helpful. I like that they put on their paperwork, if in doubt, DONT BUY. They also make sure you understand their return policy before you buy. I think that shows they are honest and upfront. Every experience Ive had there so far has been positive and professional. I highly recommend this store. I saved money on every purchase.
