Great hardware store that has a lot of everything. It’s also a good place to get propane. Great service.

Its so nice to have a local hardware store that can cut a couple keys, stocks hand tools, lumber, bird seed and the other items I expect in a local hardware store. Unfortunately there are few of the hardware stores that I grew up knowing, so its great to have one still operating in the area. Id rather come in here and buy my supplies than wander around a huge warehouse looking for what I need just to save a buck. (Not sure what Im really saving either). So Ill just say Buy local, support local!

I always been impressed with this local entry of a chain hardware store. They have a huge selection, nice prices and very helpful staff. Quite the polar opposite of many larger chain stores and some smaller ones. Whatever Im the market for in hardware, yard items or propane, I always go to this Aubuchon first when Im the area.

I like to go to the store in Brewer. ME because they are so helpful. They seem to be able to help me as soon as I walk in. No waiting, most of the time, and they figure out what I am asking for. Sometimes I am not sure what it is that I need. Keep up the good work.

I went into the store for a plumbing issue I had for our sink. I went in without a clue to what I was doing with the broken part in hand and started to gather the supplies to replace the parts. I asked for some help and the manager set me up with an associate experienced with plumbing. He showed me a simple piece which was 1/4 of the cost and took half of the time I would have spent if I went at it my own way. This is where the big box stores can’t compete. Thank you to Matt and the other gentleman who helped.

I occasionally visit this store and know I can find what I need there. However, being in retail management, I know that a simple May I help you find something? Goes a long way to those who may not know exactly what they want or where to find it.

Went in to Aubuchon to purchase a air conditioner and I think it was the best hardware store experience I have ever had. Dina, the employee helping me was so helpful and just a delight to work with. Wish all the employees out there were like her, polite, friendly and knowledgeable

Very poor web services

The lady was more helpful then both the men combined. They were to busy w their work or even to clear the counter to help. She got me a cart for the 2 50 lb feed I bought she offered to load it in my car and got the door for me. The two men were good for pricing. Not for customers

The Brewer location has always been professional and polite. They are very knowledgeable of the products they carry. There is someone always to help you when you walk through the door but not to pushy. I will go to Aubuchons first to look for what I need.

Usually helpful friendly people. They werent so helpful Sunday when I went to fill a 100lb propane tank. In the past the employee who filled the tank would help put it into the truck. This one said they werent allowed to. I began stacking pallets to make it possible to rock the 175lb full tank into the truck. I needed 2 more pallets to make it when another employee came out and told me I couldnt stand on the pallets. Exasperated I said I could and would. He said hed help. He did but I ended up pulling a shoulder tendon lifting the tank.Not a No or 1 star because theyve always been super helpful in the past. Next time Ill bring my own help.

What would we do without this neighborhood hardware store in Brewer? I love the helpfulness and friendiness of the staff at this store and of course the cat!I have been shopping at Aubuchons for many years and always leave with my purchases, a smile and a warm feeling in my heart. I shop in the big hardware stores, too, but I truly love Aubuchons in Brewer!
