Just got my c5 corvette dyno tuned and a quick tune up. Don finished my car in one day and he did a great job! Finally my car is smooth on the bottom end and runs great. Also makes more horsepower. A little above 400. My car has a cam, headers, cold air intake, and exhaust. Very happy with my experience.. Don is the man!

Don is awesome, he has worked on several of my vehicles. Whether you want a simple upgrade (exhaust or tuning) or something a little more advanced (headers, super charger, etc) they can handle it and they do an excellent job. Very personable and knowledgeable and they know how to treat a customer. They have my business for life!

Wow courtship is great the initial everything is great however as soon as you want something done the correct way you will get a lot of slack from Don the owner didnt take any notes when I told him what I wanted done. I had him tune it up and that was great. But when I had him do a break caliper, rotor, e-brake, rear differential vent port relocation, rear differential pinion seal, and entire exhaust kit guess what almost everything is messed up. I get it Im not one of your $50,000 builds thats going to be pushing 800 + horsepower but I still am a paying customer that deserves respect and treatment. Not a response of I dont know (start throwing new everything at it) I mean come on man I thought you were professional and an upstanding guy but to tell someone that you have done work on their vehicle three times now and each time charge them at least $1,000 or more Id expect you to have the decency to give an actual solution to fix it not some half-witted sarcastic joke. By the way everything is new on that car. Im disappointed because I thought you guys were going to be the shop that I would actually send my car up here in the winter to have worked on from Tennessee. But thats clearly a mistake I will no longer be using your shop to work on my beloved Trans am and I know it wont hurt your bottom dollar but I sure hope this review does because people should go somewhere thats reputable and can actually get something done the right way the first time, because why do anything at all if its not done correctly.

Don and his guys are the best in the business. If youre in New England, or beyond, and have an LS or LT vehicle, dont waste your time going anywhere else for performance work. Nice guy who tells it like it is and doesnt sugar coat anything. My C6Z runs 10x better after leaving Slowhawk. Ill push my car the 2 hours back to Don before I drive it 15 minutes to a local shop.

Don knows his stuff for sure. I take my car to him from 98 miles away. Nothing stopping me from continuing business with him unless I go down south.

Very detail oriented and cares about his customers cars. My project was small compared to most of the other cars in the shop. He still spent the time and treated it like it was the only one there.Good straight forward shop owner!!!

Don was very help full in my selection of cam choice for my 2014 Camaro SS, i was very happy with the work, performance and the car was done much faster than what i expected. There were no hidden fees and explained the bill in full detail. I would definitely recommend him for anyone looking for work to be done to your car.

Weve had a couple of trucks and cars in for performance tunes and they have been excellent all around with plenty of miles on them. Will be returning for my new Sierra.

Contacted Don after I went to another more local tuner who screwed up my car it was backfiring through intake and just knocking like crazy, the experience I had with slowhawk was second to none. He took the time out of his busy schedule to retune the car and go through the tables with me on what the previous tuner messed up. Timing was way off among other things... Now it runs just as good down low as it does up high.. Drives nice and smooth even with a cam. Looking forward to doing more business with the slowhawk crew.. Could not be happier. My truck had a rebuilt motor in it that was failing from the day I picked it up From a different shop. Low oil pressure, running issues, stalling, oil leaks, the list goes on. I contacted Don and from day one him and his crew were 100% helpful in helping me decide the best way to get my truck back on the road. Don pulled the motor, did a complete rebuild on it, new pistons, new cam,intake exhaust, fuel system, converter and of course corrected the tune. I now drive the truck every day and have not had one issue since I picked it up. It was done RIGHT and it shows. Don was very upfront with me on costs and time frames. Great shop to do business with.

Im gonna try and make this sweet and short and just want others to know a little with my nightmare experienceHe destoyed my perfect C5 corvette with huge knick in door,fenders scrathes,cut in my dash,grease everywere,engine compartment nose trunk roof grease spots all over,Interior grease all over console,steering wheel, metal shavings front to back especially on the black roof topShows no work ethics,poor workmanship,hard to deal with only by email if u get one back etc.I had no choice but to pull this car from his shop incomplete,pay him what i thought was fair and run and never look backAfter i picked the car up it went to another shop that could not believe there eyes and also found lower balancer bolts loose wich could of beena catastrophy...also he claimed the pcm was locked wich found was not so was another charge not needed.i really have nothing to lie about but my true 100% personal experience.I have 6 witnesses,pics..videos..etc..I will post pics soon to prove some damageIm not perfect my car was and Im a bit anal with my car and i told him i was from day 1 and i dont see why that would be a problem taken good care of my baby
