Since 1999 Tamer Construction/Cabinets & Designs of Ohio have done several projects on my home and I have been very pleased with all their work. They do excellent work and they are very trustworthy and honest. I would highly recommend them to do any home improvements.

We love our new kitchen! John created the kitchen that we envisioned. From simple cherry cabinets to a wall of white glass subway tile, our kitchen is beautiful. The layout and appliances are highly functional. We love to cook and I am an avid baker. He took the time to understand our needs and wants and did a wonderful job putting our ideas to paper. He and his team did an amazing job of translating the plans to reality. Even when there were a few hiccups (there ALWAYS are in EVERY home remodel - you dont know whats behind the walls) we found a way to work through it. I wish we had taken on the kitchen project earlier as the refreshed space has added so much to our home.

Loved working with Tamer and his associates in the showroom. My husband and I usually have such a difficult time with decision making for large purchases. The design consultant - Lisa was very patient with us as we worked to select the best color/style options for our style. The Shiloh cabinets are well made and perfect for us. I am so glad that we went with a different color island as the rest of the space, it was an excellent suggestion from their design staff. Thank you Tamer construction.

Theyve done several renovation projects at our home, and we have been so happy with their work. Extremely high quality of work. Our project manager Tom was totally willing to think outside the box and try new things with our ideas and input, and we are very happy with the results. Cabinets & Designs of Ohio and Tamer Construction did an amazing job with my bathroom remodel and elevator installation. As a paralyzed veteran John Tamer was able to communicate directly with the Department of Veteran Affairs to coordinate all ADA housing requirements needed. He and his associates made the process stress free for me and my family.

Our kitchen and dining room full redesign, total gut, and remodel (with walls removed) was completed within the time contracted and it EXCEEDED our expectations in quality. My wife and I contracted Tamer Construction Inc to design and execute a full kitchen remodel - we tore down walls, repositioned windows, full floor tear out, new cabinets, countertops, etc. John was completely engaged on the project from day 1 and, even after completion, has been attentive and genuine in addressing all our follow-up questions. We appreciated having John with us, step by step, through this remodel. Based on our experience with other contractors, Tamer Construction stands above his peers in the following areas:1) Project Timeline. John was precise with his timeframe for every stage of the project and ultimately he completed a few days ahead of schedule.2) Cleanliness. Exceeded expectations on a daily basis. Johns crew, and his foreman in particular, were true professionals and dedicated time at the end of each day to leave our home in the best possible condition.3) Attention to detail. Johns crew excelled at the small, finer details of the project - shoe moldings, floor transitions, ceiling paint, etc.

Was great to work with! They were able to give us what we wanted within our budget. We built on an addition changing our 2 bedroom 1 bath ranch into a 4 bedroom 2 bath ranch with an open concept kitchen and living room.Would definitely recommend them!

Horrible customer service experience. I honestly have never had worse. As soon as I walked in the door a woman was on the floor and asked if she could help us. I told her I am fixing up a house and was looking at cabinets to get an idea of what i wanted. She then said What kind do you want? I told her I didnt know (again) and to tell me about the kind she sold here. She barely gave me a run down of the styles they sold and was quick to ask me what city I was moving to. Why was that relevant at all? Then asked me to write down my address in case someone needs to measure themselves.I felt very uncomfortable giving out my info because to me that shouldnt matter and I was really just looking and getting an idea of pricing and styles (which I explained many times).Then there was an older man who came over to help as well. I thought he would be more friendly...absolutely wrong! He raised his voice at me countless times when I said I wasnt sure what I wanted yet. He literally yelled at me about my measurements that an interior designer measured herself and was extremely rude. At one point I stopped him and asked why he was yelling at me? He then said he wasnt and continued on his rant. At that point I was checked out. I didnt want a thing from this place. He then continued to tell me about their products and honestly I wasnt even listening at that point. At the end of his spiel he asked what my new address would be in my new house (again!). After I told him it was in Brecksville he switched his tone with me completely and acted very nice. He then gave me his card and apologized for his behavior before I walked out the door.I felt horrible after leaving this store. Not only did they make me feel extremely stupid as a buyer, but also treated me like a fool. Do they really think I dont know why they asked what city I bought my house in??I will never buy a thing from there and since I work for a contractor I will advise my company and our customers to buy elsewhere.I hope the owner knows what kind of people are selling his merchandise.

Nice showroom with lots of options to choose from when designing a kitchen. Knowledgeable on their products and courteous to all customers.

The showroom and employees are very kind and helpful. I was able to pick out cabinets, countertop, and everything I needed for my remodel.

I feel awful giving this place 1 star because they do not even deserve that. Issues with order, product, customer service, customer service and customer service. Ridiculous
