Lifetime came as a referral from a family member who used them 40 plus years ago, wow! I have to admit, at first I was a little thrown off by Lifetimes style. I dealt with 5 different people, but they all knew what was going on. I didnt think they provided a lot of information or explanation with any step of the process but as we got other quotes I knew what to ask. Its not a secretive or dishonest approach, just very to the point and if you dont ask maybe they assume you know. While their pricing was not a detailed itemization on some fancy form just a lump sum number it was $1000-$1300 less than the other quotes for I think a little better product and their choices greater. Their turn around was half the time of the other companies (maybe even quicker). Installers were very friendly and efficient. Both the estimators and installers were very timely with the appointment windows. We did run into one problem that the other companies brought up during their estimates due to the shape of our door frame. The lifetime installer pointed out that there was going to be this same issue (which I brought up that the other companies mentioned this) but then he made adjustments that did not completely eliminate but greatly reduced the issue and we are satisfied. Our doors are quiet and smooth and it looks like a completely different house.

This place is a class act. From the initial call to the final payment they were always on time and fulfilled every promise. I had them install 4 large commercial garage doors and not only did they do a great job but they were also the most affordable quote I received. One thing that particularly stood out for me was when I inquired about upgrading to another model they informed me that in my situation it would be a waste of money. The fact that they could have easily sold me more expensive doors but recommended against it really said something about the way they run their operation. I am very pleased with the whole experience and I wouldnt consider any one else for anything overhead door related.

Were building a home and just purchased from Lifetime Door for the second time. The staff is always helpful and their prices are good (we got ALOT of other quotes). They had a great selection of door colors (we were looking for a dark door which other places either didnt have or was only available in a custom door). Both torsion springs broke last night, I called Lifetime Garage Door in the morning and they were out within an hour fixing them. Todd did a great job!!

Called on a Thursday for service, they said Monday to Tuesday was first it could get done, which was an acceptable timeline. Tuesday morning rolls around get a call telling me now service first available the middle of next week.

So scared of the address I gave the man over the phone. He said were not interested in you.??? Then hangs up really fast.

100% would recommend! I was recommended to this company, and called them to replace the spring for my garage door. Everything about my experience was extremely professional! They called when they said they would to set up a time, they arrived exactly at the time they set up, they completed the job quicker than expected, and the gentleman who did the work was VERY helpful with answering my questions and just giving me general knowledge how to care for my garage door. He even saw a minor problem that he fixed without adding to the cost because he said it was an easy fix. On top of all that, my dog loved the guy, so what more confirmation would I need to trust them. I would absolutely recommend Lifetime Doors to anyone looking for garage door repair/replacement and fully plan to call them up with future needs in that area!

I stopped in to their facility to buy a replacement weatherstrip for my 2003 door. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The front office and showroom were clean and organized. They were able to look up the original installation in the database to make sure I was going to be given the correct part. They loaded the 18 foot monster into my van for me and I was on my way. Top notch customer service!

Very Happy with Lifetime Door and would recommend them. I wanted a new opener system with remotes, sensors, main button, and keypad. It was installed in less than 1 hr. I initially asked for pricing over the phone and they told me the cost upfront. They even lubricated the metal wheels and hinges so now it no longer squeaks. Again, very happy with pricing and overall experience.

There was a problem with the color of a new door for a garage addition matching an old door I had purchased a few years ago. They took care of the problem. Very happy with the way they handled the situation.

Will not cover their work after 6 monthsInstalled a brand new door. Door has dents and they are NOT willing to correct the problem. Im told their installers didnt see the dents (so they must not be there). So we the homeowner are stuck because of their lack of attention to their install work. The dents are high side of the door. These are not car dings, stone chips or anything related. These are pre-existing dents.So-called manager tried using stones as an excuse.Be forewarned!!! If you do buy, look it over with a fine tooth comb. Do not trust their laborers or what they say.A brand new home and we have dents. If you have a choice (I did not as it was part of a new build), use anyone elseFrom my experience, OVERHEAD Door - Professional! Fantastic Service!! Lifetime was the original installer of my current garage doors. Quality job. After I backed into one of the doors with my Jeep, I called Lifetime for a repair estimate. They came by 2 days later and we had a full discussion of options. The repair was delayed 3 1/2 weeks, because the foam-core steel doors I had required some order lead-time. The install/repair -- which involved replacing the track on both the left and right side of the garage opening, and 2 of the 4 door panels -- took ~ 90 minutes. John was great, discussing the repairs and advising me on how to best conduct preventive maintenance - on all aspects of the door and operating mechanism - into the future. Very pleased with both the repair, and the overall experience.Would definitely recommend Lifetime Door.

We were in dire need of garage door assistance when our door opener broke recently. Since our door was original to our 50+ year old house and the opener was about 30 years old we thought it best to replace both. When Kevin came to give us a quote he shared with us the option of replacing the opener first and then doing the door later if that would work for us better. We decided to replace both at the same time and Dan came out and did a great job installing both, taking away the old equipment and placing the recyclables into our bin for us. Very efficient and pleasant gentlemen from our initial phone contact through installation.

I called this group with a door emergency this morning. Our spring broke and we can’t get out. I was told the on-call technician would call back. After 45 minutes I called again-still no call. Waited another hour and caled a 3rd time. I asked if someone else could be paged because clearly the tech they are paging isn’t responding. The response I received? “Not yet”. I called another company and they called back in 5 minutes.I won’t use this company again.

Helpful door company with reasonable prices.

Lifetime installed our new garage doors and they were very helpful from start to finish. I had concerns about selecting the right color doors to match the trim on the house but the Haas Create tool allowed us to visualize what they would look like before they were installed. We stopped in the showroom and their sales staff helped further confirm our decision on the color and style of the garage doors. Installation happened shortly after the doors were ordered and overall, working with Lifetime has been a really great experience.

I would recommend this company. Jay did my door and he was fast and cleaned up after he was done. The company was very accommodating and had doors in stock.

I have depended on Liftime Door Co. for over 20 years to install and service my garage doors. The installer was prompt, courteous, and efficient. The Liftmaster product was better than I expected. I will continue to patronize Lifetime. In addition, this company has provided the best price compared to many other garage door companies in my area.

Made an appointment two days in advance. Meet the repair tech at my house. He asked for money upfront. He took the broken springs down and left after ten minutes. Didnt say a word to me. Now I have to find a different company that will be efficient anf reliable.

Granted the garage door was installed many many years ago and managed to last all that time before today, but the j-arm bracket came out because the installer didnt use a reinforcement bracket, he/she just drilled the mounting bolts into the aluminum door panel which is not and never was a good idea.Old houses are notorious for things breaking and needing maint. but I really think companies should be held accountable at least to some degree. Had a reinforcement bracket been used back when the door was installed the company could truly claim Lifetime Door Company.

Completely unprofessional. Didnt show up for the estimate as scheduled, and even after three follow-up calls by myself to see when they were coming, the customer service individual was completely unapologetic and offered no solution to fix the issue. I would never depend on them and I recommend using literally any other garage door service company.

I had a good experience with Lifetime up until they ordered and installed the wrong door. I called them and reported the mistake and the door panels were received 2 weeks later and they fit me into their swamped scheduled! New panels to be installed tomorrow!!

They actually dont even help to resolve the issue or empathize with the customer. No possible solution was offered except a new, more expense door or expect costly repairs in the future. We would have contacted Lifetime Door company immediately if we knew the spring was broken. The door did not operate any differently until the past week and we contacted Lifetime. It seems suspicious from 1 spring replacement cost to a full new, more expense replacement door occurred. It doesnt seem anyone realizes how frustrated and anxious I am knowing the door may not work causing the possibility of vandalize and theft. I just want something done and I took off 2 days of work to have this work done. Now I have nothing completed. I thought this would have been taken care of with 1 call.Events:10/27/14Called Lifetime Door Co and asked if someone could repair our garage door we bought from them in 2006. I noticed a cut on the top door panel and looked like something maybe wrong with the opener or something. She stated there would be a *service charge*. Appt made for Thursday 10/30/14. Someone will call that morning to confirm the time of arrival.10/30/14Repair man arrived. Stated spring is broken and would need to be replaced. He did not have the spring with him. Also, the top panel would need to be replaced. I asked the time frame and he stated 2+ weeks. I asked if this was covered under the warranty and it was not. Warranties are only good for a year. He did not have the cost at this time.I was concerned the door would stop working and inquired what we can do if this happened. He stated it would take 2 guys to lift the door. I stated, due to our schedules we have limited time to handle this in the event the door does not open or close easily. He stated he can come out on Monday if they had the part.After thinking about this I called Carol at Lifetime Door Co and stated my concern the door may not function over the weekend. She checked and they do have the spring in stock. She highly recommended we replace both springs because the other spring would break in the near future. Now we are up to around *$250.00* for both springs not including the 1 door panel. The appt was set for the next day 10/31/14.10/31/14Spoke to the repairman on the phone since there were 2 separate conflicting voice mail messages. He stated he would arrive within 20 minutes. He arrived almost an hour later. He looked at the door and stated we would now need 2 panels and both springs replaced. Due to the cost he recommended a new door. The cost would around *$1000.00*. About a *$80.00* difference between the repair and the new door. He then pressed on the panels pushing the screws away from 2 panels and highly recommended a 2 steel sided door because we probably will encounter the same problem in the near future.NOTICE THE PROGRESSION:-service charge, no repair on the day;-1 spring and replace 1 panel;-2 springs and replace 1 panel;-2 springs and replace 2 panels;-new 2 steel sided door-double sided steel door-$$$$ I took 2 days off of work to try to get the door repaired; door still not repaired; $$$$ possible vandalism and stolen property; undue frustration and worry the door may not be functionalI became very frustrated and asked him to leave stating we need to think about this. I pressed the door opener to close the door and the door took several attempts to close. I contacted Carol at Lifetime Door Co and voiced my concerns. I was so upset I had to hang up before I raised my voice. No return call.I just wanted the door repaired we bought from Lifetime Door 8 years ago. Now we can’t afford to replace the door for damages we did not cause. We just paid off the loan for the new garage and will have to take out another loan.

I thought that Lifetime door delivered a quality product with integrity. From the beginning, the estimator (Mike B) was very straight-forward and didnt try to upsell anything. I also got an estimate with R & R door: they were $200 more expensive, but their garage doors had a lifetime warranty. I still decided to go with Lifetime Door because they were less, and they offered the keypad for no additional fee. My husband and I ended up getting a nice garage door with 3 windows and the wood look for $1,800 total. The installer (Derek) also was efficient at getting the job done, and he obviously knew what he was doing. The one thing that was a little slow was getting the call once the custom door was ready to be installed. It took about 2 weeks for the order to come in, and I had to call the office rather than having them call me to set up an installation appointment. I do think, however, that they were really busy about that time. All in all, I had a very positive experience with Lifetime Door.

Had them scheduled for the 20th, the night of the 19, first they called said there behind because their installers were sick, i couldnt talk at that time, called them back, and pretty much said, i wasnt a priority because its cold out and their home builders were more important, and there was no way they would make it.So, i rescheduled. Then i found another company to installed it on the 21st, called them today to cancel, and they did not like it that i CANCELED.HIRE MORE PPL
