I had taken my previous car to Finn Mototech for over 10 years and always had extremely great service. I had hoped that with Roadmasters taking ownership the quality of service had remained the same but after my recent experience there I’m not sure that’s the case. I recently took my car there recently for a simple oil change. After getting my car back I drove to Denver and when I arrived at my destination my car I had smoke coming out from under the hood. I was pretty shocked and when I opened the hood to see the oil fill cap missing and oil all over the engine bay. Luckily the cap was sitting on a ledge in the engine bay and it was a miracle it didn’t get dislodged and go missing during my drive. My suspicion is that the technician forgot to put it back on after the oil was replaced, if it just wasn’t fully tightened and fell off I don’t know how it could have landed perfectly in the spot that I found it.When I called Roadmasters to tell them what happened they apologized and offered to do the oil change again and clean up the mess in my engine bay which they did. My car is finally getting to the point where it doesn’t stink of oil after ever drive. I’m pretty disappointed with this bad experience with such a simple procedure and at this point I’m not sure I’ll return.

Where to even start... So many great things about this shop!! I have to say that they are by far the best mechanic shop in broomfield!! Super trust worthy and they don’t mind going above and beyond. Anna blew my customer service experience out the water. She knows exactly what she is talking about and has been in the business over 10 years. My mechanic was Robert and he also is very skilled in his work. There is no half job with this guy! He is definitely the one you want to ask for! Don’t waste your money or time messing with other shops that don’t truly appreciate your business. One of the things I love the most about them is that they go by the mom rule even if you aren’t a mom. Curious what the mom rule is? One of the most professional and reasonably Price automotive mechanic in the Broomfield area. I am prone to consider myself handy under a hood. The break line customization I required last year, left me thinking these guys are more magician then mechanic. Relaxed and thorough, the have earned my recommendation from the parts desk I used to work, many times over, from the way they were in equally high esteem with the folks I sent them. All ase certified, and personable too.

Had lower ball joints replaced. Received truck back with metal noises under truck. Checked and found the outter tie rod end clamps werent put back and were just dangling. Also found a rip in one of my putter tie rod boots which were brand new just over a year ago. Will update review based on response but definitely not happy.Update: I have reached out in response to the initial reply I received and still have not heard back after 5 weeks. Your reply that you referenced, told me that you just must not have seen a part that you had to remove then reattach be full of grease but youd be happy to charge me to fix that... I wasnt even provided with a name. Talk about honesty and integrity and yet you wont even provide a name or job title to stand behind your response.TO THE PUBLIC....Here is my experience: Separate from the issue above, I found that one of the parts that they installed was faulty so I brought the truck back to have it replaced (the boot was falling down on the ball joint and exposing the grease and metal parts inside). I had received my truck on a Monday and brought it in on Thursday. Jace, the manager, asked me in a very weird tone, why it took me three days to notice the part was defective... Like its my (a customers) responsibility to check their work?!? Then the techs had the truck for 30 minutes and I was told it was fixed and it was good to go. IT WAS NOT. The ball joint and boot were EXACTLY how they were when I brought it in. Luckily I learned from Jaces comment that customers need to check their work right away, which I did, and I was able to correct him and let him know that in fact they did nothing to the truck and were trying to have me drive away with a faulty part.I did mention multiple times that I was leaving the next day (or as soon as I could get it fixed) for a 3,000 mile road trip into Mexico and hundreds of miles off road so any faulty part will cause a major issue. Not that it should matter, but I wanted to make it clear that a temporary fix wouldnt be safe. Once I showed Jace that the techs did not in fact fix the part, even though they said they did, I was treated like I was annoying him by having the issue, and that fixing my truck was a major inconvenience to them. He huffed and puffed for a while as he figured out what location I could go to to have the part fixed. He made it very clear that he was unhappy and I was a problem for them. I ended up having to go to the Lafayette location the next morning.When I was initially quoted for two lower ball joints, I was told it was a flat rate of $500 (both sides). Not an hourly rate with an estimated time (and then they would charge for how long it takes). Now, after the part was replaced with a new part, I was given the invoice (which I didnt pay for because it was warrantied), the price was $163 for the side. SO, the same service, same part and when they dont charge me, they show me that I was charged 35% more than their printed invoice. Now, looking at the website and their mission statements regarding treating customers like mom, and not overselling, checking for future issues, taking pride in their work, they are honest, treat ever car like its their own moms car, The best value in auto care happens when integrity and honesty are the bottom line for the people doing the work, etc. were practically ALL completed ignored in my experience. The lack of honest, integrity was appalling. To pretend like you fixed a car and have someone drive away with a faulty part that will cause a major accident if it fails on the freeway, is insane. I have reached out voicing my concerns, highlighting the failures to live up to almost every mission statement, the fact I was charged 35% (~$175) more than the printed invoice, etc... Im disappointed that the only response I got was telling me that you didnt notice the part that you removed was full of grease and youll happily charge me to fix it, and then NEVER RESPOND to my reply regarding my experience. Ive gone to Finn Mototech for year and have to say that the customer service is amazing. They are honest and forthright. Ive brought in vehicles for them to take a look at. They then let me know whats wrong, what needs to be fixed now, what can wait, in order to work with my budget. Id recommend them time and time again.

This is the best mechanic shop Ive been to without a doubt. Ive been here many times before with car problems throughout the years and Ive never been disappointed​. I know that they truly care about me as a customer, and they take their time making sure my vehicle is in great shape. Ive always been happy with the prices as well as the honesty which is why I keep coming back. I made an appointment for an oil change recently, and they were very fast and efficient. Ive been having my car serviced here for almost 4 years and never had a problem with their work. This was my first visit since the pandemic started as my car finally needed an oil change. When I first came in, the receptionist was wearing a mask, but from there, I sat outside and watched a maskless employee take my car back to their garage and then a maskless employee bring it back out to their parking lot. Once inside to get my keys back and leave, immediately an employee walked through the waiting area without a mask and walked out their front door, and then another employee came from the back, maskless, and asked if Id been helped. Perhaps they believe the pandemic is a hoax at Finn Mototech but being classified as high risk I dont have much choice in taking it seriously. I will never be returning to Finn Mototech and will instead find another shop who is more considerate of the health of their customers.

I am reasonably new to the area and was looking for a shop, that wasnt the dealer, for any of my future needs. After asking friends, this was the place that was suggested to me and I can see why. When I showed up, I had a bit of a list the dealer had given me of issues to be addressed. They were able to take care of any issues I had as well as clarifying the problems on that list that werent problems at all.When I dropped my car off, they gave me a ride to the rental car company, which wasnt necessary but very much appreciated.

Finn Mototech is GREAT I have a Lincoln LS and I had a traction control light coming on... I took it to two different Lincoln Dealerships. The dealerships could not locate the part needed. I then went to Finn and they found the part and replaced it and the light is now not coming on! I strongly will refer Finn as a place you may Trust!

We live in Canon City and have been trying to find a repair facility that would work on our corvette. After searching for months we found Finn Moto Tech in Broomfield. We contacted Sam and told him of our situation. He said that they had the equipment and technicians to solve our problem. I was somewhat Leary but made they drive. They fixed it beyond our expectations! Way to go! We WILL be back.

Tried to get spark plugs done, and fuel injectors cleaned. They quoted me over $500 to spray some cleaner you can get at an auto parts store into the intake, and following it up with fuel additives. Mieneke or any cookie cutter shop will do spark plugs for $150. An hour of labor, and $50 in parts. I felt as if they assumed i was some soccer dad who didnt know his way around a toolbox. I did it myself, And it cost me $65. Good riddance!

These guys need more reviews! My car, my dads car, and a handful of friends cars have all been worked on here and they ALWAYS do an amazing job. Not to mention, they are always happy to explain things and be completely honest about the work. Their blog and website are great too. I started taking my vehicles there after being disappointed by 3 mechanics in the area. It was recommended to me by people who work for an automotive magazine and several people I know now take their vehicles there. I was skeptical at first, but have had a great experience every time. They usually come in under their estimated cost and will let you know if something needs to be fixed right away or can wait. They also seem to go out of their way to provide good customer service.

I have trusted Chris and the team at Finn Mototech with my car for several years. I looked very hard for a mechanic I could trust and I couldnt be happier. I first came to them when my former mechanic told me I needed $3000 in immediate repairs (I wanted a second opinion), and they thoroughly looked my car over and told me I didnt need a single repair. True to their word, my car ran without issues for a long time. I wouldnt ever go anywhere else.

Honest and fair. It’s almost impossible to find a auto shop that can be described by those two adjectives, but my experiences here have shown me that there is at least one that can be.The first time I brought my car here they spent time diagnosing an issue and yet I wasn’t charged a single dime. Most places would have charged at least an hours worth of labor.I can’t recommend Finn Mototech enough.

This place is as good as it gets. I can see why they have stellar reviews. Took my van to another mechanic and was given the hole scar tactic thing and a price over 1000 to fix the front end . Brought it into Finn because of the reviews they have on here. Not only where they honest but the work they did was super . Chris fixed my side door and didnt charge. Did a full inspection of my vehicle and didnt charge. Changed an o ring on my tranny dipstick tube and charged me fairly. I was hearing some noise in the front end of the van and was told by another mechanic I needed new bearings and ball joints. Finn told me the truth it was my uneven tires (which I kinda had a feeling it was that all along) suggested I have the bearings rebuilt and right side ball joint replaced and an alignment. I really like these guys they do business like I do fair and honest. I will ONLY bring my vehicles to Finn from now on(and if you do you will be glad you did) and hole heartedly recommend these guys to the entire yelp community. You guys just got a new customer and I will tell all my friends about you. Thank you Chris.

Good prices and they didnt try to gouge me on anything. I had them change the oil and check out the brakes on my car i was giving to my son. I told them i thought that they needed to be repaired. They just changed the oil and said the brakes were still good.

This is the first time Ive ever left a garage 100% satisfied. These dudes are absolute professionals. They even stayed almost 2 hours after closing to finish up the work they did on my truck.

We really want to support local businesses in our neighborhood but have gotten awful service at Finn lately. We took our car in because of a loud noise we were hearing when shifting. They “fixed” it but when we picked it up and drove it away it had a new shuddering problem. We took it back because the car was not having this problem prior to their “fix” but they denied the idea that they could’ve caused it. After having the car several days, they determined it actually was from the first job they did. Finn still charged us for both jobs, even though the second job was unnecessary in solving the problem they caused originally. Very disappointed in their service.

The mechanics own the place. They do great work because of this. Everybody working there is a mechanic. Meaning no front office people talking to you attempting to talk shop with you. Front people are a waste.

You dont have to be rocket scientists to work on a car, but it doesnt hurt. The mechanical knowledge level of these guys FAR exceeds what youll need to get your car up and going again. That being said, there prices are very fair and they are very through in making sure you not only understand what they did, but also how they came to that decision. So, yeah, you can get your car fixed by the Dealer and they know your make, model, etc, but why not have it fixed by someone that are trained as engineers...

The world would be a better place if every auto mechanic was like Finn Mototech.Great mechanical knowledge, good communication, punctual, dont gouge you on parts, good labor rate, and most importantly, they are honest.I dont live very close to Broomfield, but Finn Mototech is worth the commute/tow.

Called 3 times trying to get a estimate, they took my phone number and never got back to me, i call the next day got a recording, left message still no phone call the next day so I called again no answer, apparently they have plenty of business, just hire a secretary to answer ur phones

I was traveling from Montana to New Mexico when my brake pads and rotars on my left drivers side went bad, so naturally I pulled off to a close exit and found the nearest mechanic shop(Finns in this case). They were able to fit me for a brake check which was convenient as there hours were dwindling to a close and I needed to know exactly what was wrong with my car. When I got my brake check the guy upfront said that I had to fix my caliper, which was not correct, then the estimate to get my rotars and brake pads fixed was an absurd $457. My advice to people is look around for other auto shops that are reasonably priced and dont try to screw you on things that dont need to be replaced.

Been to these guys a few times for brakes and oil changes, now went in to get a mystery creaking on our Grand Cherokee checked out-we had been to the dealer(Pollard) and were told nothing was wrong- these guys took care of it in 5 minutes for no charge, we will be back again.
