I was over 250 miles away from home when I broke down outside of Brownfield. I was having what appeared to be electrical sensor issues initially with my 5th gen 4runner, which I assumed was stuck in Limp Mode. Called Randy and he immediately sent two mechanics out to help me on the side of the road. When we could not diagnose the problem road-side, Randys mechanics towed me into town to let the master take a look for himself. With-in 15 minutes of inspecting the vehicle, Randy used his wizard mechanic skills to diagnose the issue of floating debris in the fuel tank, which was not expected by myself or the other two mechanics. Only when the fuel level was below 1/4 tank would the issue manifest. Upon this diagnosis, Randy offered to drop the tank at his shop and remove the debris himself but also indicated that I should be able to make it home to my normal mechanic for him to fix it himself if I would like to continue home.It is apparent that Randy has a level of knowledge only acquired through years and years of experience not found in the typical dealership service departments. Top notch professionals at Randy Barbee Automotive. I would recommend Randy and his team to anybody.

Randy and his Team are incredible! I had a leak in my condenser for my AC system on my 2015 Chevy. Common issue with these trucks I learned. Randy and the guys have seen this all to many times. He was able to walk right out and immediately show me the problem. He was able to give me a fair estimate and had the parts the next day. Truck was fixed the next morningand he even came to the hotel to pick us up. He clearly explained the warranty and gave me paperwork on it. If you are looking for an Honest and reasonable shop that does quality work, then give Randy and Team a chance!

I was passing thru Brownfield, after a Lubbock dr appt. My car had broken down at 4:30pm. Randy and his guys were so amazing, even staying late to get me back on the road and home to my son. He took an extremely stressful situation and so easily fixed the problem. I’m very grateful to have met him. He was fair, honest, and actually took the time to explain what was going on. So happy to be home!

Very pleased with Randys work. We had a serpentine belt brake on our motorhome and were stranded. After calling around for 2+ hours finally found Randy, he had us in and out in one hour. He was thorough about checking to make sure the belt had just broken from wear and not by another major problem. Great work and great price. Highly highly recommend !!

I called Randy because I live out of town and I needed someone to look at my Aunts car air conditioner. I explained to him that she takes my mother to her doctors appointments and that her air conditioning wasnt working. Randy said bring it in and he would try and work it in. Not only did he work it in, but he got it fixed faster than expected and also cheaper than I expected. It is great to know that customer service like this has not gone away! I did this all over the phone! Middle of our 8 hour trip, our car’s AC started failing and the check engine light turned on. Even though Randy had a full garage, a busy and hot day, he still took the time to help us out first so we can be back on the road as soon as possible. It was a very pleasant experience.

Driving through town, my dads truck started acting up. Took it to the repair shop and they got it in the next day and fixed it and we were on our way. Great price, not to expensive. Very friendly. My dad Junior was very satisfied.

Amazing service and very helpful. Our car was having some trouble on the way from Lubbock to Hobbs, and we stopped in an auto zone there in brownfield. While no one wanted to come check the car, Randy personally came to auto zone to help. Super grateful!!Highly recommended.

So thankful for these gentlemen. We we traveling long distance when one of our wheel bearings went out right as all the shops were closing. We called them and they stayed open until we were able to get to them. They got us fixed up and back on the road. Thank you!

Randy was our saving grace when we were all but stranded in the middle of essentially Nowhere, Texas. My boyfriend and I had been traveling cross-country when our van broke down. Much to our dismay, the damage was irreversible, and we were stuck with very few options to go on. A true angel, he went above and beyond to help us find a buyer for what remained of our van, took us to the nearest city (Lubbock) to ship our items home, and then dropped us off at the hotel we were staying at until we could catch a flight the next morning. I can honestly say that if you’re looking for a solid mechanic who is kindhearted and will go the extra mile, choose Randy. Being from Boston, I was incredibly hesitant to stop anywhere in the middle of nowhere, but when left without a choice, I was happy that Randy ended up being the card we were dealt.

Randy and his crew were super kind and overall amazing! My car was having problems while I was on a cross-country road trip. The issue emerged because I drove from a humid climate to a dry one and it tripped a sensor. Rather than charging me for a random part that didnt need fixing, Randy knew what had happened and gave me wonderful advice (I havent had an issue with the car since and its been two months!). I couldnt recommend Randy and his team enough!

We can not say enough good things about this shop. We are travelling from san Antonio to Idaho falls and our truck started acting up... (We are travelling with 2 kids, a mother in law, a dog, a moving truck, a camper, and our 2 pickups.) They could have easily taken advantage of our situation. Instead, they stepped up and went ABOVE and BEYOND to help us in every way. 3 mechanics and nearly 3 hours later, we walked out overwhelmingly grateful to these people. Dont go anywhere else if you need help with your vehicle. And to the shop, if you ever decide to expand, please please come on up to our neck of the woods. Cheers.

We were traveiling through town and had some major mechanical issues. The local parts store recommended Randy, and we couldnt be happier. He dropped everything and got us back on the road. If I could rate his shop 6 stars, I would. Hes that good.

We were traveling from New Mexico back home to Houston when our van started to overheat. The scariest part of traveling by car is breaking down in the middle of no where or in a place where you dont know anyone. Randy assured us by phone that he could take care of our problem and get us back on the road. When we arrived we were pleased to find a professional repair shop, a very clean office and waiting area, and he had us back on the road literally within a matter of minutes. The best surprise was no surprise at all, his labor rate was extremely reasonable. My only dissapointment is not having a shop like this in Houston to call on for my repairs at home. My sincerest thanks and gratitude to Randy Barbee and his fine mechanics. I would not hesitate to recommend him to family, friends, or anyone in need of repairs for their vehicle.
