Dr. Shafer and her team are wonderful! I have been a patient of Dr. Shafer’s for over 20 years and just love coming to her office. She has the newest technology so you don’t have to get your eyes dilated! Everyone in the office is so friendly and helpful. They took me back right away and and everything was very efficient. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Shafer Vision Care is the best place I know to get new glasses. When I walk in the door, it is apparent that I am valued. Dr. Shafer and all her staff are knowledgeable and conscientious in all aspects of my experiences there. When I broke both pair of reading glasses in a 2 week period and my insurance wouldnt cover a replacement yet, they tracked down a replacement frame that would fit my current lens (my old frame had been discontinued). I realize they may not be able to do this all of the time, but I appreciate how they took time out of their day so I could read again. Keep up the great work!

When you walk into Dr. Shafers office the staff great you with a smile and are very nice and polite. My appointment was on time and the staff member that takes your history and performs the tests prior to you seeing the doctor is very thorough and seems to really care about how you are. Dr. Shafer stays on top of the latest technology and it shows with the new equipment for performing your exam and getting the most thorough results possible.When you see the doctor she comes in with a smile and is very upbeat. The tests that were just done are up on her computer to see and the chart is there for her to review if needed. They also have a great selection of glass frames for you to choose from. I always feel that I get a very thorough exam and would definitely recommend Dr. Shafer to a friend. Awesome experience.

It was a pleasure visiting Dr. Shafers office. The staff were all personable and knowledgeable. The appointment was prompt with very little waiting time. Dr. Shafer was professional but with a great chair side manner. I felt very comfortable putting my eyes in her hands and feel she will be able to handle any and all of my eye problems.

Its not a habit of mine to spend time to do online reviews but this place really did impress me. From the moment my spouse set up my appointment to the moment I walked out of their door, Ive felt nothing but gratitude, praise, comfort and better prepared. The staff were perfect hosts, helpful, sincere, kind, patient, responsible, respectful and with wisdom. This all continued with this practices specialist, Dr. Shafer. Through her ability to teach me, help me to gain wisdom of why such an excellent practice should be my go-to along with the use of only advanced technology and method, I knew I was blessed with one of Lifes Jackpots. This place was a true and rare treasure. My vision diagnosis is spot on. I now know that I currently dont have any onset diseases (several can be detected in the eye with the proper advanced tools). No signs of tumors in the brain. No current risks of my blood circulation or other bodily malfunctions that can be detected in the eyes. I was also pleased to be relieved of the side effects and recovery time of the old practice of dilation with eye drops; it was successfully completed within 30 seconds and with zero discomfort. Dr. Shafer also walked me through the analysis while using rather intriguing and anatomically correct images of my retinols. If youre looking for a thorough, accurate and complete health & wellness total eye exam and vision test, I confidently suggest this place. Also worth noting: Frames and sunglasses are there for all sorts of personalities, face shapes and skin tones and they cycle new styles and variety often. They have a mandatory class @ $50.00 for those first time contact lense users; I found integrity with this. I wish this was offered when I was less wise of contact use and care - Im going to take advantage of this class. Only downfall was that although they do offer several respectable designer options, they dont carry the Ralph Lauren line. OH! I asked for a print out of my vision test results and they immediately did it with a smile and were thankful to help you nature! They also accepted our insurance - it varies with providers and unsure of their financial options, call them and ask - they really are helpful with kindness. Just go. Its good stuff.
