After the closure of Borders bookstore I was concerned that the demise of all bookstore was in the future. 📕📖This hasnt happened because companies like Books A Million filled in the void.This location is a good one. Good and responsive customer service and they also do a really good job freshly brewed coffee and the ever quality frappes.

Oh man did I love this place!!! Im a friend obsessed fan and my bestie is a Harry Potter obsessed fan so we freaked when we saw all the goodies they had. So yeah I spent a good amount on Friends memorabilia. Lol Im definitely coming back and so is my bestie!!!

The only two books anyone needs to read to understand the rapid decline of this once great nation.

Place was organized. Not a great amount of inventory. But clean and there were some sales, kinda expensive. Would rather go to Barnes & Noble. But its nice there is something in this area. I am shocked I did not buy anything or did I?? Not a book anyway. I always try to buy something. I was amused by Trumps nieces book, but other than that no interest. I usually but at least 2 books in a store. I have a book problem....I love love books.

Your store is a mess, books sitting all over the place.Tried to check out today at the front only to be told it would be awhile and I should go over to the cafe to check out. The guy working at the desk wasn’t doing anything other than pulling things out of a box. It was certainly something that could have waited. There was a line at the cafe, I had to wait while she made drinks . When I left there was even a longer line of people trying to check out. Not a good way to do business. I will certainly never buy anything from this store again. I can find what I want at other places

Have to wait in line at the coffee shop to pay for your books. Counter man was to busy checking in inventory to stop and wait on customers. Bad way to run a business. Will not return. Rather drive to Savannah for service.

Its an amazing place, and has a very organized place, but the bathrooms are a little rough, and some employees are not the nicest. I have had a good experience over the years, but I did find that the Manga selection of a certain series is always short. I hope you can fix this.

They have a great selection of books. Most prices on the books were reasonable. The accessories and novelties prices were over priced in my opinion. However they have many things you probably wont see anywhere else. Today we were shopping for my daughters birthday, but well definitely go again soon. I did find the section title of Christian Fiction quite comical as that is an oxymoron. We spent about $85 on 8 books. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

I walk in after seeing 70% off sign in the window and head straight to Joe Muggs where I tried the new White Chocolate Carmel Frappe (theyade it hot for me) which was absolutely delicious and I got a free ghirideli chocolate (new White chocolate caramel they havent released for sale yet) that blew my mind away, as well as a sample of the salted caramel coffee!? The biresta was so nice and caring!Then I scavenge the books like they are a prey until I find the new Stephanie Myers book, Midnight Sun from the Twilight series. So far the book is just as good as I expected it to be, and I walked out a very happy lady while the store was closing.

We usually like going to Books-A-Million but this one in Brunswick is the worst. First of all they could not take nothing but cash cause there computer was down. There book selection was not very good. There books were not in any order when they would stock the shelves they justnplaced them anywhere in that section. The attendant was not very helpful. I also went to get some regular coffee at the shop that was there and they did not have any.

I was searching for a book, for a gift, and the folks at Books -A-million were able to locate, and order the books for me. They were very helpful, and courteous.

Warehouse sized store with pretty much every title and topic you could possibly need. Friendly staff, informative, and can order anything you cant find. Pick up a book and head for the cafe.

Great selection staff not so much

Books-A-Million is amazing. Pretty much all the books you could ever want. Set up very similar to Barnes & Noble. If youre looking for fandom collectable merchandise chances are Books-A-Million has it. They have hundreds of Funko Pops, stuffed animals, toys, mystery toy boxes & just about anything you could ever want or need. They have vinyl records, collectables, tshirts, socks, toys, books for all ages, not to mention an entire wall of any and every magazine you could ever imagine. If youre thirsty or hungry theres a little coffee cafe there as well that has pastries, coffee, smoothies, glass bottle sodas, candy etc. I cant wait to come back to Books-A-Million!

Same layout as standard book stores but with bargain marked sections with discounted books.Staff is very kind and enthusiastic.

Whats not to like about BAM they are very helpful in locating the book after checking to see if they have it first.Theres plenty to look at on each isle.We took full advantage an looked at everything. I wish there coffee mugs werent so expensive but other then that it was all good. Joe Muggs coffee was good we took it with us..Along with some other books.

Very rude employee. Told us over the phone they can give us our money back in cash went up there and couldnt give a reason as to why they couldnt do it. Only said card or store credit. Book we bought had pages ripped out of it. Yall just make sure to look at every page before you buy and make sure thats the book you need/want.

The store is dark, making it hard to read titles especially lower shelves.

This is my quiet place, my happy place, my relaxation place. I love spending hours here just chilling in a comfy chair with a book and coffee in my hand. Awesome staff as well! ( except for George he sucks and has basically a no care attitude ) but other than that all of the staff are wonderful!

I was charged the full price for books that were bargain priced. I brought it to their attention and they fixed it right away.

Staff use to be so knowledgeable and helpful but not seems like they dont care.

We dont have one local anymore so its a really treat when we find one in our travels.They have tons! Of fun stuff throughout the store. Did not leave empty handed for sure.

VERY RUDE AND DISRESCPTFUL! Me and my family were going to shop and the manger told us to put masks on. We show doctor signed notes that say my grandmother nor my stepson could where masks due health reasons and asthma. Manger said for us to either wear a mask or we cant be in the store. Very rude. He didnt care nor did he try to be nice at all. He didnt even look at the doctors notes. We either had to do as he said or be kicked out. WE NOT BE BACK.

After too much shopping Thanksgiving night, I thought there was an issue with my debit card being over charged. I want to thank Keith for being patient with me and again apologize for my error. The absolute best customer service ever!

WOW! To be clear this is a review of the coffee shop area - and it is not good.I went there today for a drink and to have a Zoom Meeting with a client. OH MY GOODNESS! It was the craziest experience. The employees were in competition to be the most guest intrusive.I have never seen anything like it. They were congregating with each other at tables and were incredibly LOUD! It was almost as if they were competing to be the most obvious extrovert.Please evaluate this situation and coach some folks!

Was hard to get around some areas in my wheelchair. And found same or similar items for less else where.

Love this book store every time I go in there the employees are always very helpful. I always find what Im looking for and if they dont have it in stock theyre more than happy to order it for you. I love how they have a well being section in a section where you can get Chakra stones, Bracelets necklaces key chains and books about them. Will definitely continue going there

Had to wait for awhile to buy my book. They finally brought up another kid to ring registers. I was being rung up, the credit card machine malfunctioned on a ten dollar book, and the kid said he didnt know what was wrong, that the original cashier would have to ring me out, she was now helping the people BEHIND me in line... I said forget it, Ill buy a kindle book. And I did. Cheaper anyways... Associate cant figure out a credit card machine? Might need to go back to carbon copy days...?

Always enjoy trip here. Love reading and looking for new stuff and it doesnt hurt that they have a great little place for coffee. Would visit more but its an hour drive there and an hour back.

On a rainy cool day i left work and decided to treat myself to a hot chocolate. Rather than visit one of the typical coffee houses, i went to BAM so I could also get some ideas for decorating my condo. As usual, they had an unparalleled selection of magazines, and i enjoyed one of the absolute best hot chocolates ever.

Decent Books-A-Million not a very large selection of games though, not the largest selection of anything really... but the customer service was good and they didnt push us to buy anything.

They try to sell you stuff at the cash register. Not just one thing but a bunch of stuff. 10 people will be standing in line listening to sales presentations as opposed to checking out.

We always enjoy going to BAM. This store is clean, employees very pleasant, etc. My only complaint is that it appears that they are sacrificing books in order to display/sell other merchandise. This is a BOOK store...make room for more books, not other stuff, please!

Listen, I love BAM but the staff here...no one greeted me, no one asked if I needed help or even bothered to see, and the only other employees there were at the checkout or screwing off in a corner. Need to hire better staff. Thats the only reason for the 3 stars.

I stopped here to browse. I ended up buying a home repair book as I am a FOYer. I could spend hours at BAM. Many categories of books but fewer magazines (except the popular ones). The coffee bar keeps the store smelling great. A great and quiet place to spend your time!

Enjoyable experience. They have very courteous and friendly customer care. I got my annual books-a-million card. And I really like the store.

This place is gross! The book selection is okay, but the space is dirty, the bathrooms are disgusting, and the furniture is old and worn. There is a nice outdoor seating area that I have never been able to enjoy since it is reserved for smokers and employees to hang out with their friends. The downtown public library is nicer and cleaner than this place. I would rather travel to a Barnes and Noble in Jacksonville or Savannah, or wait two days for a book to arrive from Amazon than ever return to Books-A-Million.

Had a little bit of an issue here, came in contact with Victoria who made sure to rectify the situation very quickly.

Wide selection, the only place around the Brunswick, St. Simons Island area that had what I was looking for and the staff were extremely helpful.

Books area is fine, but Im not sure why they claim to have a coffee area. For the 3rd consecutive visit Ive been told that the coffee needs to be brewed and that it will be a five minute wait. I can be at Wake Up in that time, and so wont trouble the Joe Muggs staff any further.

Great selection and special orders only take about 48 hours. Friendly and knowledge customer service. Excellent!

Great staff good selection and good prices

We were staying on Jekyl Island and wanted to get a book . We spent 58. The clerk saw my smart phone but didnt tell me about a coupon on line. We paid with a 50. and a 20., she called for backup for the 50. someone came from the coffee shop picked up the marker, a foot away, marked it and walked away. I asked if the Book Page magazine was free she said I think so, and grabbed one, stuck it in the bag. When I got to the car, I noticed the magazine was all ripped up and dirty. We paid top dollar for those books. Should of went to Walmart. Ill bet they know what a 50. Bill looks like.

Occasionally they will have an author that I am searching for. More likely they can order what you need. If you are looking for anything divergent from the NYT best seller list- its probably not likely to be in stock. Staff is helpful but good grief...No Im not a member of the club and no I dont want the free magazine subscriptions....:)

We always go here for certain books and magiazines, Sport Card books. They do need to improve the New month by month issues of sports card issues, to be there on time. Seems like there a month behind alot.

My daughter and I love this company. I get overwhelmed almost every time I go in here because they have ado many books that it hard for me to choose. Thats unless I already have a book in mind. Same for my daughter.

My daughter, granddaughter and I all love to read. We have to drive 30 minutes to get to a Books-a-million but worth the drive.

A little expensive but what can a person expect for brand new excellent books. They even have coloring books for adults/children a toy area and all accessories a person could ever think of for a nice comfortable read.

There is a nice selection of books. Ive been to better Books-A-Millions. But this one is still good
