Good store with many vintage magazines, comics, figures books and various other collectibles. Staff makes you feel comfortable and they had a small dog and cat when I went, if you like animals its therapeutic. A little hidden but a real gem of a store.

Cute little store, it is nice to be able to relive Nostalgia and also purchased some of the old comics and records. Nice store and wonderful owners.

I stopped by Kreepo records at 14.46 on a Saturday. I was pretty excited to check out a new record place.The open sign was on and the hours said the store was open. The door was locked. I tried the push-me-pull-you bit to no avail. Kreepo is sandwiched between X-ray tattoos and CBGBs. Maybe they are all interconnected? Perhaps the record store door was locked on purpose and I should gone in the CBGB entrance. The CBGB store front had a sign that said Hippies use back door. Kreepo s entrance had an open sign in the door window. Im definitely not a hippie. Maybe I missed the joke.I always thought this was an unspoken enter here message.Perhaps the clerk had to drop a deuce and locked up the place? I didnt see a note so this is more speculation.This store looks really cool. Where else will I find Sleep and Bolt Thrower albums? I suspect there may be some hipster / audiophile / fanboy code that you need to use to gain access?This review a reflection of my puzzlement as to why I couldnt get in. (Huh huh, thats what she said). I have the place 5 stars because there is no way to give a neutral review....and if I did one star it could negatively impact a unique store. Maybe it was a case of bad timing?
